Home was very clean, spacious, comfortable, tranquil and very enjoyable! Very close to La Pine State Park and about 9 miles from Sunriver Resort. Home came with 4 bikes, a single person kayak and a small raft. We really enjoyed our stay.

It is such a great place to stay, spacious and great backyard. We used it as a family get together and it was perfect to bring us all together. The only thing I wish there were more chairs for the kitchen table

We rented the main side and the mother-in-law (MIL) attached side. We had a great stay and good communication with the Vacasa staff when necessary. Would definitely stay here again. Why we loved it: - The yard was great. We brought yard games and it was also big enough for general running around for the kids. The back porch was a wonderful spot to gather in the cool mornings and evenings. Very peaceful and lots of seating. We saw deer, birds, rabbits, and ground squirrels, and enjoyed the beautiful pine trees beyond the yard. Just be sure to gather your stuff off the lawn before bed, as the sprinklers run every night. In the mornings you'll wake up to wet grass, but it doesn't take long to dry out. - We were able to unlock the access between the two spaces, but close the door when privacy or noise reduction was desired. - There is a large dining table in the main house for board games and eating together. - Location is near lots of outdoor adventures. There is a notebook that contains many ideas. (However, a large portion of the notebook is focused on the Sun River area and does not mention the La Pine grocers and Bi-Mart which are much closer.) -The main bedroom in the main house has a gorgeous bathroom with a very nice bath tub, lots of space, a big shower, and a his/her sink area. Very relaxing for sore, tired muscles after playing hard outside! The second bathroom in the main house is also big and nice. (We didn't visit the bathroom that our parents used on the MIL side.) -Main house has a large, well-appointed kitchen. It was so nice to use for family meals and snacks! -Nice size laundry room in the main house with an ironing board, and a place to hang clothes up over the machines on hangers. We used this quite a bit. It was also nice that detergent and stain remover were already provided. -Big living room in the main house with plenty of seating and space. Also a nice size tv with streaming options. -The main house is spacious. There is also an office with some board games and books and floor space + seating. Really helps to feel like you're not always crowding each other. -It was really nice to have two bathrooms in the main house plus a bathroom in the MIL side. No lines waiting for your turn! :) -Everything was very clean and in great condition. -Nice asphalt driveway that's easy to navigate with multiple cars. Possible room for improvement: - Water pressure was a little low for showers. Also, we learned that we needed to spread out our showers for hot water. We had five people in the main house and 2-4 people in the MIL side. If we used all the bathrooms to shower at once or right after each other, there wasn't enough hot water to last for us all. - There were only 4 chairs at the large dining table in the main house. The table was large enough to fit all 9 of us, but we had to get creative with chairs. We brought in camp chairs which left those people sitting low, almost with their chins at the table; and we used the bar stools which left those people towering above everyone else without a back. Maybe some folding chairs or just additional kitchen chairs would be a nice addition. - MIL side only has hot plate, electric kettle and microwave (possibly a toaster, I don't recall) for cooking needs. - MIL side doesn't have a lot of places to hang wet towels. Our parents suggested that it would be nice if more towel rods or hooks were added for those staying on that side. -We brought our own drying rack to use for wet swimsuits and for laundry days. There was plenty of space for it. That would be a fantastic addition to an already well-appointed house! -Front porch steps of the main house could use a handrail for those who do better with that physical support. -We stayed at the end of July. It was a little stuffy inside at night. The notebook requested that we not lower the AC below 72 degrees, which we followed. But it did mean that everyone was hot at bedtime, even with fans. (We have allergies so we didn't open the windows). Eventually the house cooled down overnight. But it would have been nice to lower the temperature at bedtime. The MIL side doesn't have control over their AC; so whatever the Main house does is what the MIL side will have as well. Not sure it can be improved, but just to be aware of: When someone watches TV in the MIL side, it can be heard in one of the bedrooms and the laundry room of the main house. We had kids in that bedroom, but thankfully our parents in the MIL suite were watching G-rated content so the sounds weren't too big of a deal! Just something to be aware of. Overall, the possible room for improvements were very minor. We really enjoyed our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to anyone wanting a relaxing home-base for their adventures in La Pine! Thank you for helping us create some wonderful memories together!
