We loved the amenities (hot tub, pool, access to a cabana). The location is central to many restaurants and shopping.

We were changed to Sanctuary by the sea (SBS) after our original booking was cancelled due to refurbishing. We couldn’t have been more pleased with the change. I had never stayed in the Grayton Beach/ Blue Mountain Beach area of 30A before. We thought we preferred further east on 30A in the more populated and trendy areas (Watercolor, SeaGrove, Awl’s Beach …etc.) SBS wasn’t on our radar. Our eyes have been opened. This area is far more tranquil and relaxed with vast stretches of nearly empty coastline. Grayton Beach is a funky little town with a ton of character and Turtle Reef State Park is a hidden gem. All of these are a short jog, car ride, or bike ride from our front door. The grounds are beautifully kept with two impressive pools, optional private cabanas and sea side beach chairs. Bike rentals(2 per room) are included. As to this particular unit (3117), it is impressive. Viking gas stove, stainless oversized refrigerator, and a large island all adorn the well appointed kitchen. Oversized doors and crown molding add upscale touches. There are 2 master bedrooms (one upstairs) and 2 “kid rooms” up front. The masters each have private access to one of the two oversized balconies. The view straight out is of Big Fish Lake, a pretty little area surrounded by grass and trees. The ocean and white sand beach is clearly visible although is a little off to the left. The owners cleverly used mirrors to reflect the ocean view throughout the main living level. I loved the 2 varied views, one on the Lake and one of the ocean and beach. It was very cool and really showed well from this third (top) floor perch. There are two water heaters (one dedicated to the solo upstairs master) which reduced the need to stagger showers. The full sized washer and dryer were also much appreciated. The ocean is immediately accessible from the property by means of a private boardwalk over the protected dunes. It is maybe a 200 yard walk and perfectly flat. There are no buildings or structures in front of the property to obstruct the view (unlike some other places I’ve stayed.) To sum up, this is a quiet and elegant place to stay with upscale design and copious amenities. The dual views of Lake and Beach is really unique. Best of all, there was ample space in this well designed and comfortable abode to accommodate my family of four full grown adults. A great discovery!! Highly recommended.
