The place is small, but mostly functional. There is a gas stove and oven which may need to be lit manually, and no microwave, so plan food accordingly. Also, there are plenty of dishes and pots, but no dishwasher, so using paper is more sanitary.
The swimming area is small but adequate. If you have a boat, this place would be a dream. We brought our own paddle boards and enjoyed paddling out to other areas of the lake where we could jump in. But Sebago is a Boater's Lake and there are lots of boats. We were there midweek, so it was relatively quiet.
I suspect if you fish, this would be a great place to dock fish as well. In addition, we rented kayaks from Sebago Kayak in Raymond (10 min away) and that was a lot of fun.

Good place to stay, but a few things were lacking
My husband and I spent four days at the Sebago Lake Lodge in North Windham, Maine. The lodge offered plenty of convenient parking, easy access to the nearby town, and a dock where we could sit to watch boats and sunsets. Most of the experience was good, but it didn’t start out that way. When we checked into our room after twelve hours of travel, we found that the room had not been cleaned after the previous visitors had checked out. I called the regional help number and was assured that the problem would be fixed very quickly. A minute or two later, a call came in from the local manager who apologized, promised a refund, and told us that another room was ready for us to move in. This quiet room was extremely clean, with plenty of hot water, a stack of clean towels, and a lovely cool breeze coming in the window. It was furnished with two comfortable beds, a two-burner electric cooktop, appropriate food preparation cookware, a refrigerator and freezer, a roomy chest of drawers, and beautiful views of the lake. There were a few things that could have been improved: the bathroom and shower stall were tiny, the sink was not well secured to the wall, there was no hair dryer, the television didn’t produce a picture in spite of my tech-savvy husband’s best efforts, and the sink stopper didn’t fit the drain in the kitchen sink, causing hot water to drain constantly while I was washing dishes. I was impressed by the speed with which the room problem was fixed, but I don’t know that I would stay at this location again because of the lack of amenities one would expect for the price of approximately $175.00 per night.

We had a peaceful rest watching the boats! With summer visitors to get out to the main road was easy because of the traffic light !
