This vintage loving soul absolutely loved this retro resort! Every detail of the little Shasta I stayed in to the personal bathroom was amazing!! Let the shower water run as they suggest for at least 5 min and even with a breeze it was so refreshing! It is located approximately 14 miles from downtown Fredericksburg so make sure to be care driving back at night due to the deer. The wind was a bit crazy the two nights I stayed, but they provide a noise machine for you which helps! The only thing I would change would be being able to have my fur baby with me, but I understand that could be a massive issue in the upkeep of these well restored beauties! I collect and resell retro/MCM/vintage items and will be posting about this resort and how awesome it would be to have a group come out and hang out. Thank you to the ones that thought of this amazing idea!

This is a great break from the norm, of renting a hotel room. This place has everything you need, except food lop. Other than that, it has everything a hotel room has and more! The scenery is relaxing, it's in a gated field! The RV's look small, but are roomy inside! Has your own lounge area outside of your RV and if you want to be in a group the commons area has a fireplace and chairs. My wife and I loved it here!

I booked Miss Abby as a weekend getaway for my wife's birthday but we had a family emergency that meant we had to move back our trip by a week. The owner Casey was very accommodating and rescheduled us with no issue. The trailer itself is awesome! It's a vintage Shasta trailer that's been updated to include modern amenities like climate control, TV and fridge. The assigned climate-controlled bathroom in the main building is a great idea that provides privacy. Due to the cold weather, we didn't get to fully enjoy the cute patio, pool and outdoor-style shower but they're really nice touches for the property. We fully recommend booking with Blue Skies Retro Resort if you're looking for a unique experience!
