Things to Do in South Londonderry

Any visitor to South Londonderry should certainly plan to unplug for a nature-rich getaway! Take a nearby hike through gorgeous nature, breathing in the fresh air and unwinding, or bring your poles for a day of fishing in the West River, which flows right through town. You can even peruse the West River Farmers Market in search of some crisp organic lettuce and juicy tomatoes for whipping up a fresh salad in your vacation rental!

Stratton Mountain Resort

Perhaps the biggest draw of the area is its proximity to some of Vermont’s most exciting skiing and singletrack at Stratton Mountain Resort. In the winter, take any of 11 lifts to get to the summit at 3,875 feet. From there, drop into any of 97 runs on 670 acres of skiable terrain. Stratton Mountain Resort was also the first resort to allow snowboarding. After a long day of skiing or snowboarding, finish off the day with a pint of local microbrew in the Stratton Mountain Village at Grizzly’s Bar and Restaurant, where you could even catch some live music if you're lucky!

Summer visitors to Stratton Mountain Resort will find their fair share of exciting activities, including scenic hikes, miles of singletrack for downhill mountain biking, and blue ribbon rivers for trout fishing.
