About The Washington State Convention Center

Events at the WSCC

The events hosted have grown more numerous and diverse since the building's founding 25 years ago, with a solid selection of amazing annual events alongside less regular conferences and meetings.

PAX (short for Penny Arcade Expo) is an amazing convention in September that brings all the vibrant energy of the video game community together, featuring high-profile guests, musical performances, and more. MozCon, which offers a fun, yet in-depth approach to digital marketing, also convenes in September, bringing a host of actionable information, knowledge, and guest speakers with it.

Seattle Interactive meets a month later, boasting an incredible reputation as the Pacific Northwest's premier technology show with plenty of hands-on demonstrations of the latest inventions. Naturalists will delight at the Northwest Flower and Garden Show in February, which floods the convention center with greenery in the form of dozens of colorful arboreal displays.

Dining Around Seattle's Convention Center

When it comes time to eat, you'll have a stunning variety of dining options nearby to choose from. If you're in a hurry, grab a crepe at La Crêperie Voilà, or a salad/smoothie combo at Juicy Café. Classic deli food is available at Goldberg's 2 Go, and Espresso Caffé Dior. For something spicy, try Daawat Indian Grill & Bar or Taco Del Mar.

Some other great nearby options include custom pizzas at Mod Pizza, delicious sandwiches and tossed-to-order salads at Wild Rye Café Bakery, oysters and shellfish at Blueacre Seafood, Spanish tapas at Tango, Greek food at Lola, and the Korean buffet at Umma's Lunch Box. Attractions Near the Convention Center
