About Liberty Lake
Attractions
Liberty Lake is more than a charming town to explore - it's the perfect home base for guests looking to experience the best of both Eastern Washington and Western Idaho. You no longer have to choose between museums to the west and breathtaking lakes to the east. Our Liberty Lake vacation rentals let you have the best of both worlds and offer plenty of small-town charm to boot.

Life in Liberty Lake, WA

Perched right at the Washington-Idaho border, Liberty Lake is ideal for those looking for peace and quiet. The town has a population of under 10,000, which hits a nice balance between modern comfort and sleepy atmosphere. Your vacation rental will be far removed from the noise and crowds of larger cities, but still near shopping centers like the one in the northeast of town.

Meanwhile, the south side lets you take in some fresh air, with two top-notch public golf courses bordering the lake for which the town is named. Set sail from the boat launch at the north end of the lake, swim at the beach to the south, or explore the trails of the Mackenzie Natural Area to the east - the adventure is all up to you!

Destinations Near Liberty Lake, WA

The best part of Liberty Lake is the variety of options available for lucky visitors. There's plenty of things to do right in town, but even more in the two cities a short drive to the east and west. Spokane is over 20 times the size of Liberty Lake, which means more shops, restaurants, and a lively culture. The Northwest Museum of Arts and Culture offers a gorgeous look at the region's past through various exhibits while the sculptures of Riverfront Park provide a more hands-on approach.

If you're looking for natural beauty, pay a visit to Coeur d'Alene. A quick drive across the state border, Coeur d'Alene offers stunning access to the massive lake of the same name, where swimming, fishing, and various watersports await! While smaller than Spokane, there is still enough shopping and dining at venues like Ironwood Square to please everyone. Hikers should check out Coeur d'Alene National Forest a short distance to the east, where miles of gorgeous wooded trails are waiting to be explored.
