Very beautiful house

The location was great between manual Antonio, jaco, Dominica

Our family of four (2 teens and 2 moms) loved Casa Pura Vida. We stayed for 11 nights. It's a perfect location - close to the national park, beaches, Quepos, Manuel Antonio (village) and a pretty quick drive to Uvita, Dominical, and the boat to Corcovado. The entire home is clean, spacious, and well equipped. We cooked and grilled some dinners and ate at some great places in town. The pool is wonderful! From our decks we saw spider monkeys, howler monkeys, capuchins, toucans, and iguanas. Three iguanas hang out around the house and are so beautiful. We would absolutely stay here again and are recommending to friends.

Beautiful and Convenient

For decades, adventure-minded tourists have come to Puntarenas to sample this 4,900-acre park with its incredible array of eco-activities, and leave with memories to last a lifetime. Best of all, our Manuel Antonio vacation rentals in the nearby town of Quepos put you just minutes from the park’s exotic beauty and numerous first-rate attractions.

Water Adventures in Manuel Antonio

Start your visit to Manuel Antonio National Park – which was included on Forbes Magazine's “World’s Most Beautiful National Parks” list– with a trip down the Naranjo River, a fast-moving river that winds through Puntarenas Province from high up in the mountains until it eventually spills into the Pacific Ocean. Test your mettle against its whitewater on a guided trip with local outfitters like H2O Adventures, Amigos Del Rio, or Quepoa Expeditions.

Continue the wet and wild fun with surfing lessons on Playa Espadilla Sur in the southwest corner of the park. Or snorkel in the tide pools of Playa Manuel Antonio on the other side of Punta Catedral, a former island connected by a natural land bridge.

Explore the Jungle in Manuel Antonio

If you prefer to stay dry, consider a zip line adventure through the jungle canopy, or a hike under the dense jungle foliage on the Sendero el Perezoso (“Sloth Trail”). Pause for pictures of two- and three-toed sloths dangling from tree limbs, and listen in for the distinctive call of mantled howler monkeys. But that’s just the start of a long list of other adrenaline-inducing attractions, including mountain biking, ATV touring, waterfall rappelling, sea kayaking, windsurfing, and more.

Costa Rica’s smallest national park offers the biggest variety of adventures to choose from. From hidden coves where dolphins splash to high mountain ridges where squirrel monkeys, sloths, and kinkajous climb, you’ll find it all in the jaw-dropping geography of this national park - and it’s all within reach when you book one of our Manuel Antonio vacation rentals!
