The house has amazing curb appeal. The neighborhood is on a hill top surrounded by trees and other beautiful homes. Casual strolls are enhanced with breathtaking views taking in the natural beauty of the distant hills and forest, making it a perfect place for a large family gathering to enjoy out of door activities and indoor amenities. The living room could accommodate a large gathering for conversation and games with room left over for little kids to romp in the middle. The bedrooms were good sized and well spread out. While there we were treated, on Saturday, to the most beautiful out of season May snow storm. It was such a treat for all of us. We took the kids for a walk in the evening, and they were making snow angels in the driveway. It made the whole weekend worth while and memorable. After the walk, when everyone was wet and cold, we peacefully sat in the living room enjoying the massive windows, reaching to the second story ceiling, and watched the snow float to the ground. Upstairs was a game room where the kids hung out most of the time. There was a pool table, a foosball table, and movies which we never watched, but it was great to have sometime with the kids and sometime without the kids. The front and side of the house is surrounded by a large deck with a BBQ and table and chairs. It’s hard to believe that on Friday we had lunch out on the sunny deck and Saturday it was covered in snow. Saturday morning we woke up to no hot water. Maintenance responded quickly. According to the person who came to fix it, the tankless water heater is new, but was malfunctioning. He was able to reset it, clean it out, and make it work for the rest of our stay. Thank you!!! Oh yeah, and while we are on the subject of hot water, there were ample clean towels in the bathrooms. Making reservations with VRBO was easy and confirmation was sent in a short amount of time. There is parking for 3 to 4 cars.
