This cabin had the perfect cozy feel to it! The kitchen was the best stocked kitchen I have seen in a rental. The location was perfect. Our family enjoyed our trip and stay at this cabin. We will be renting this one again in the future!

We had a great summer stay at this house. The kitchen was well equipped, the house was clean, bedding was comfortable and there were plenty of towels and a washer and dryer. It is was in a great location with bike paths leaving from the subdivision and grocers nearby. There is a nice pool, tennis courts and games at the HOA community area. We were surprised by the $10/person per day fee to use the beach or pool area. There was nothing posted in the house and only a little blurb on the listing that must have changed since we had booked the house.

Plenty of beds and bath towels! kitchen is fully stocked with appliances, utensils and silverware.

We spent a wonderful week-end in dollar point. The location of the house is just perfect. The accommodation is lovely. We will come back for sure.

Clean home with lovely details. Close to beach. The kitchen was very well equipped. House is in a nice quiet neighborhood. Bed in master bedroom was very comfortable. It was perfect for our 4 day get a way to beautiful Lake Tahoe.
Cynthia K.Jun 2018
This home was simple, but just what we needed for our family of 5. It was nice on the inside, clean, a well-stocked kitchen, ample beds, laundry, towels, entertainment, etc. The only thing I would warn about is the creaky ceiling. It startled us a little, but luckily had read another review about it ahead of time. We loved the amenities available to us in the community as well. Would definitely stay here again.

We were a group of 4 and really enjoyed our stay at 106 Tacoma.
While I’m not a huge fan of the modified a-frame structure homes, inside the property had all we wanted. Comfortable living and dining area. Efficient and well stocked kitchen and three nice bedrooms. With the fusbal table and board games this provided the perfect hang-out for post ski family time.
Will certainly go back again.

This is a lovely cabin and located very centrally. We have stayed here three times now and will be back

Beautiful, comfortable cabin with excellent layout and thoughtfully supplied with all you need. Great location close to Tahoe City and Squaw/Alpine. We got more than we expected and were very pleased with the cleanliness, well stocked kitchen and laundry facilities. Anxious to get the opportunity to go back!

Private beach, stellar's jays in the backyard, upscale community. Our stay at the cabin was perfect and we'd recommend it to anyone! The kitchen had all the appliances we needed to cook breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the beds were comfortable. Everything worked great.

I have stayed here for many years and have seen great additions and remodeling to the cabin. Great location.
Cynthia F.Aug 2017
We had a really fun time using all the amenities of the Dollar Point area. The pool/tennis club was beautiful and the beach had a lot of chaise lounge chairs and umbrellas for everyone. The cabin itself was cute and comfy situated in a quiet neighborhood. Overall, a great experience!

This was our first trip to Tahoe. Location was great. Ran on the trail everyday and grocery store was handy. House was not cleaned well when we arrived and needs a major cleaning top to bottom,. Pool access was great but hours were not. Beach access was great. Quite a walk!
We apologize for any oversights there might have been with housekeeping prior to this reservation. The property manager will follow-up with housekeeping, and deep cleans will take place in the fall. Thank you!

We stayed here with 3 toddlers for 8 nights during an awesome spring snow storm. It was a great place to call home while letting the kids experience some snow and the beautiful mountain scenery. Overall, it was just what we needed and our girls really appreciated a snow fort left in the backyard from a previous guest! But a few things we would have liked to have read about ahead of time so we wanted to share:
- the walls/floors are very thin. Since all rooms are basically connected by a wall/floor, you can hear everything. Also, the house shakes a bit with any jumping/running/etc.
- they did warn about the house creaks, but with any change in temperature it definitely can get loud and a bit creepy like someone is upstairs when they are not or someone is walking on the roof. We got used to it but just a heads up!
- the downstairs toilet is oddly high so despite the fact that we brought a stool, my potty trained 2 year old still needed my assistance to go potty.
- the beach access is not close and down some steep hills. And then there's the hike back up! The pool and playground, on the other hand, are a quick easy walk away.
But to end on a positive, we loved the big windows, nice fireplace, and the beds were pretty comfy. We did a lot of cooking in the kitchen and it had what we needed. And finally, there was plenty of space for everyone to spread out and stay entertained which is a big deal for time indoors with little ones!

We were two families with two children. The place was in excellent condition and operational. The kitchen, washroom, bedroom, living areas were all in excellent condition. The cabin itself was nicely decorated and gave a rustic ambiance. Overall, all the guest loved the place and will definitely plan to visit again.

I love how cozy this home is and it was so relaxing.
Reggie Kim N.Jan 2017
Located just outside of Tahoe City, this cabin is perfectly suited to families looking to getaway for a few days or even longer. Roomy, clean and complete with modern kitchen appliances, this cabin has almost everything you'll need. I would have given it 5 stars, but there was a ceiling leak in one of the bedrooms that forced the two people staying there to sleep on the couch, but to be honest, everything else about the place was perfect. With that much snow, leaks happen!
Ariella V.Jan 2017
This cabin was perfect for my family of 7. It was in great shape with everything we needed and very clean. One note, if you have walking toddlers there are some steep steps as well as a banister on the second floor with bars that a 1-3 year old could fit through. I was ok with my kids because they were old enough to understand not to do it, but it could be stress ful for parents with walking toddlers.

It was a great home to stay in! Will definitely try to come back!! Perfect for our family!
Colleen K.Sep 2016
Was great location and nice area and quite and home had everything you needed from the kitchen to entertainment in the home.

We are a family of four from Dublin, Ireland. This was our first time travelling to the West Coast of USA and we were not disappointed. We spent a week of our vacation at Dollar Point in Tahoe City and had the best time. It was a very peaceful location with lots to do and see. We would highly recommend spending time there.
David F.Aug 2016
Enjoyed our stay and the amenities provided. Great to have pool and beach access. House needs a little TLC.
Martin B.Jul 2016

We were very satisfied with our stay. The amenities were great and the location is wonderful!
Karmina B.Apr 2016
The cabin is excellent! Just perfect for our family of five. But can also accommodate more as there were more beds than we needed. Very clean and very spacious. The kids loved the movie chairs, all the games, books and DVDs. And the fireplace!! The kitchen was well stocked with appliances, kitchenware, etc. You can also see the lake from the deck. We had a really great time and will definitely be back again and again!!
Ting-Kuo L.Mar 2016
Quite some entertainment inside the house. Clean, comfortable, well maintained house. You can see the owner is taking care of the house a lot. We like here and would like to be back next time.
Kim S.Feb 2016
This is in a great neighborhood and has s great little back yard for kids. The space inside is very comfortable and useable. The cabin is very well supplied. Pack your clothes and come to Tahoe!
Daniel N.Feb 2016
It is very clean and spacious for even 2 families traveling together. It is very close to the 7 Eleven and Safeway store. It provides you with access to the lake and it is a wonderful place to stay.
Jenny L.Oct 2015
It felt like a true little cabin in Tahoe city. It was a 10 min drive to Squaw valley and the Tahoe city town was cute. The neighborhood was very nice, just wish I had more time to enjoy it. We will be back!
Rochelle J.Jun 2015
We were looking for an annual vacation spot and thus could have been it. We had a great time in our vacation! You can tell that the owners take very good care of their home. It appears that they have changed the pet policy since we booked our vacation and dogs are no longer allowed. Unfortunately that means our family of 5 including our Chihuahua won't be able you stay again. Looks like we will have to find a new annual retreat...
Amie N.Feb 2015
Nicely appointed--easy drive to both Squaw and Alpine. The house is in a cute neighborhood, easy walk into Tahoe City, not fancy, just right. Lots of room, but not sprawling. We'd stay here again!
David S.Jan 2015
Such a nice cabin super cozy fireplace and nice little view of lake through trees the private beach you can walk to was amazing too
Darlene C.Aug 2014
Dollar Point is a great neighborhood. The only issue for me was that the cabin accepted pets - brought my little pug, but the HOA (beach, pool park etc) amenities prohibited dogs and I couldn't leave him alone in the cabin and it was too hot for the auto. Consequently, unable to use the great amenities that were posted.
Jeanne T.Aug 2014
Great property. Very clean. Nice deck out front with a peek-view of the lake. We would stay here again.
Thank you for the 5 star review. We are so glad you enjoyed your stay, and look forward to your next visit with us.
Lissie V.Aug 2014
The cabin was perfect! Cozy but with tons of spots to hang out. Tahoe City was a nice bike ride away... Club house was amazing.... Park like w several things for kids to do.
Thank you for this review. Its always great to hear that our guests have enjoyed themselves so much while staying with us. We look forward to seing you again!
Shannon H.Jul 2014
We loved our cabin, it was clean very well equipped, and the location was perfect. it will be an annual vacation destination for our family of 5 for many years to come. Our welled behaved dog was also happy with the cabin.
Lara M.Mar 2014
Beautiful cabin, clean with a new feeling kitchen. Lots of little touches like games, quotes on the walls, old Tahoe photos and an amazing high ceiling with a mezzanine level. We would definitely stay here again. Although this is a rental and people don't want to spend too much money doing it up whom ever owns this cabin clearly cares and it shows, thank you, thank you!
