We drove up to Christmas lights and very thoughtful decorations in the house. Can't imagine all owners would go to this trouble. We thank you for that.
Unfortunately we were disappointed that this really is just a 1.5 bath house, not 2 full baths as we gathered from the description on Expedia.
The other 'unfortunately' is that we had to share the house with some mice (or at least one!). We realize it is cold outside, but would not expect rodents sharing the space, nonetheless.
We are sorry to see you had any disappointments with your stay. We have verified our home is listed as 1.5 baths, and we are setting traps for any mice in the house. We are so glad you enjoyed the decorations the owner put up, and we hope to see you again!

We enjoyed our stay at Easy Street. The home was clean and fresh inside (we appreciate the use of natural and unscented cleaners). From lots of hooks for hanging coats at the entrance to enough utensils to cook basic meals to extra towels and bedding, this home made our stay “Easy”. Very thoughtful renovation of the room layout kept everything within easy access. Comfortable seating throughout and a range of mattress firmness among the bedrooms worked fine for our range of likes. Easy Street is located very conveniently to downtown, Tubb’s Hill, the lakefront and NIC campus in a quiet neighborhood with a large variety of mature trees. Our stay coincided with a couple calm days where the colorful leaves gently rained to blanket everything below them. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in CdA and would be happy to stay again. Thanks for sharing your home with us.

Loved the quaintness of the house. Neighborhood was great and everything we needed was within walking distance. Good backyard for the dog. Have to give it only 4 stars as there could have been more written instruction as to how to use pellet stove and where laundry detergent was. However the vacation manager responded quickly and was very helpful. The kitchen could use a fan as there’s nowhere for smoke to go when frying except opening windows and back door.
Hi Elizabeth, thank you for your feedback. We've passed your suggestions along to our property manager, and we'll be looking into making updates to our home. We hope to host you again soon!

Location was amazing. The house was clean. We were actually in town to check out CDA as a place to move to. I ended up coming down with the flu and this place just felt so cozy and homey for the day I had to stay in. The wood stove is great in the chilly months.
Def would add for anyone planing to sleep in the King bed: it’s extremely soft. So if you can’t sleep well on a soft mattress, this is not the bed for you. Lol
