I can’t say enough wonderful things about emma’s hideaway. It was delightful in every way. A true New Orleans gem.

Adorable, clean, very NOLA feeling inside. Loved the vintage vinyl record player with Louis Armstrong, Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holliday, etc.

We used Uber or Lift every time we went into the city and they were only about $8 a ride. Upon arriving the neighborhood had me a little nervous, but it turned out to be fine. When we did drive it was sometimes difficult to find parking right in front of the house, but side street parking turned out fine. The house itself was perfect. Loved the decor and attention to detail. The upstairs sink was slow to drain, but that wasn’t a real issue. Grateful for this place to be able to stay again!

My family and I wanted a quick trip over the weekend to enjoy New Orleans. I wanted a place to stay that reflected more of the NOLA culture than a regular hotel room. Sweet Emma’s Hideaway was perfect for this! The location was just far enough outside the main areas so you come home to a quiet neighborhood. The place was decorated extravagantly and we enjoyed using the record player to listen to classics such as Louie Armstrong and and Ella Fitzgerald. We had an issue with a breaker being off and we had to call maintenance but they were there to fix it within an hour. Everything was perfect and we’ll definitely be back!
