My housemates and I had a wonderful time staying here! The home is super cozy and comfortable and made for the perfect getaway weekend for my friend's birthday. Super comfy beds, gorgeous floor to ceiling windows, a beautiful view into the trees, barely any neighbors, and well-stocked kitchen!

The home is beautiful and well-appointed. Plenty of room to gather or find a place to just contemplate.

We loved the serenity of the location. Convenient to Big Tree State Park for hiking, Murphy’s for wine tasting, Arnold for a fabulous meal at Sarafina’s!! The lodge was well stocked with utensils and amenities, star gazing in the evening and breakfast every morning on the deck. We were completely satisfied and happy with our accommodations. There was was just the two of us. It can easily host 9 people! We would definitely consider returning! Thank you for opening your hone!

Very roomy and lovely house with all the amenities.

We had family come to visit from Washington, we decided to rent a home to have some quality family time. This house was perfect, we had breakfast and dinner out on the deck, put puzzles together, watched some TV, played hide and seek with the kids and had a family dance off. We are already planning our next stay, I would highly recommend it.

The reason I am giving 4 stars instead of 5, is the house keeper needs to do a little better.
Manager response:
Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are happy to hear you enjoyed our home. We are working closely with our housekeeping team to ensure that they are paying close attention to detail while preparing for guests and following the current COVID-19 cleaning protocols. However, we would like to apologize for any missed areas. We have reached out to housekeeping and local manager regarding these issues. Thank you for bringing it to our attention. We hope to have another chance to impress you in the future!

Loved the cabin! So big and spacious/roomy for 2 families.
Only complaint was there was 11 of us for 5 nights and we were only give 3 half rolls of TP, 1 kitchen towel, 3 dishwasher tabs. I feel like anyone knows that 11 people need a lot more than that!
On the positive side, the rooms, beds, kitchen decks, EVERYTHING else was WONDERFUL.

This cabin was very homey and layout was great for our multiple families that came! Definitely recommend! Just if you are big into cooking like our family you may want to bring a few of your own pots/pans.

Can’t say enough about this lovely home. Feels like you’re living in the forest, and there were even blooming dogwoods in the backyard. My husband and I had planned to spend much more time exploring the surrounding area but wound up just sticking around the house a lot more and enjoying our time there instead. We’ll definitely be back!

House was perfect for a quiet family getaway. We have little ones and house layout, amenities and location was perfect for our family to enjoy a peaceful vacation with space to roam and an easy location to get to the sites we wanted to explore.

The home and location are beautiful. The kitchen could be better equipped. There are zero spices and very little utensils. With a house this large it is obvious there will be cooking for a crowd so I think the kitchen should reflect the needs. It is a lovely very comfortable home and we will most likely be back!

House was perfect for the group. Plenty of space, activites, and outdoor patio seating was more than expected. House was clean and kitchen well supplied with cookware and utensils. Being a pet friendly home, our group was more than satisfied. Close to main road and river. I look forward to staying there again.

This gorgeous home was the last stop on our week-long California road trip. We arrived somewhat exhausted and seeing that this gem had not yet received any reviews, a little bit concerned if this property could live up to the stunning photos from the listing
Well, not only does it that - it is so much better. We found a gem in the trees which was the perfect spot for us. My kids enjoyed the upstairs game room, played foosball and learned how to play pool. The house has so many amenities that we were never bored or looking for anything to do without once having to turn on that giant TV in the living room. Life is better outside and the enormous wrap-around deck plus the comfy chairs out there allowed us to enjoy the starry nights and the coolness of the mountains.
We were contacted by Vacasa as one of the toilet seats in the house was broken and one of their super friendly representatives came out the next day with a handyman to address the issue. Flawless customer service indeed.
We made ample use of the huge kitchen and the giant fridge as the Big Trees Natural supermarket in Arnold allows you to get pretty much anything. Friends of us from California stayed very close to us in a rather sad airbnb property but ended staying with us most of the time as we were able to host them both at the dinner table as well as on the deck.
The house is very obviously someone's personal gem and it shows the level of love and attention to detail.
We are wanting to stay again as this was an amazingly beautiful and relaxing stay. Coming from Texas, we miss the cool and starry nights.
Ideas for improvement: we could have used a serrated knife for bread-cutting and a decent cutting board. That cactus one is more of a novelty than a cutting board
While the house was overall fantastically clean, it does have very high ceilings and could use dusting above 8 feet.
But it is a dream of a dream house. We can't praise it highly enough as it made a perfect vacation even better and imagine an alternate reality where we own such a mansion in the trees.
