I was in Dallas on a business trip to attend a real estate conference and brought two agent colleagues with me. I was very disappointed when we arrived at the property. It was advertised as having a garage parking spot. However, when we arrived and called to let Vacasa know the garage was locked, we were told that the garage was not accessible to guests. So, we had to park in the parking spot behind the unit, which had trash in it, including a broken toilet, diaper boxes, bags of trash and old flooring. We had to walk around the unit and down the street to bring in our luggage. Upon arrival, we pulled out our laptops to catch up on some work before heading out to attend a dinner with our broker. We were unable to access the WiFi using the network and password provided to us in the 'Welcome Email.' This was a huge problem, as this was a business trip and we needed our computers to work. We ended up having to walk a block away to go to a coffee shop to get WiFi. Additionally, there were bags of trash on the rooftop patio, and the netting that served as a barrier between the patio and the edge of the roof was damaged, allowing access to the edge of the roof- this is a substantial safety issue. We called Vacasa. The gentlemen we spoke with was very kind. He told me that he would have someone contact me immediately to address the issues. No one called back, no one emailed. None of the issues were resolved, even though we stayed for 4 nights. The next morning, we discovered the coffee pot was broken and the fireplace remote did not turn on the fireplace. I was embarrassed, as I had brought two colleagues with me on this trip. I had to go to a local Walmart and purchase a new coffee pot. Although the interior was mostly clean, the beds were comfortable, and the location was good, the other issues were extremely disappointing. What was even more disappointing was the lack of follow-up or follow-through. I understand that things happen. As a fellow owner of multiple AirBNB/VRBO properties, I know first hand that issues pop up. But when a customer calls to inform you of those issues and promises a timely resolution, follow through. Fix it. Provide excellent customer service. None of that occurred in this circumstance. I hope that you're able to correct these issues & improve your customer service so that the next visitor who pays to short term rent your property doesn't experience the same disappointments.

We understand the toilet outside was less than desirable, but we had to wait for bulk pick-up to address it. We are currently working on securing the edge of the rooftop. Thank you for your feedback!

Loved the property, rental management team Vacasa great to work with as well. Great location to a lot dinning choices. Great neighborhood.
