This condo is so expensive because it’s in a great location. Walking distance to almost everything. Which is great. But the condo itself–and its management—needs to step it up. The place was not updated at all, all 80s décor except for an occasional light fixture or bathroom fixture. The place was still dirty when we got there at 4:20 and the cleaning people acted like they were pissed off that we were there to check in (I informed Vacasa – after I figured out that’s who I needed to contact. I thought it was like vrbo or one of those where you can contact the owner directly.) The upstairs toilet didn’t work and it took them over 24 hours to fix it, leaving 5 women sharing one bathroom for most of our stay. The ceiling fan in the living room has one choice, on or off. No fan, no light. No light, no fan. The upstairs bedroom is very warm (like 80 degrees with a big skylight making it hot) and there is no central air in the place. Say what you will about how little it’s used in Breck, it’s still necessary for comfort. A plug-in fan was provided in the bedroom, which did help. I had to move several lamps, boxes, etc., to get to it though, as the closet was used for storage. The hot tub was inaccessible due to covid, which isn’t the owner’s fault, but still would not have booked this if I’d have known it was inop (maybe put that in your listing?) There was a city block power outage our last night there which left us with no power, in the pitch black, for close to 3 hours. Again, not their fault, but the building should have a better generator than just hallway emergency lights. There are other minor things like dirty/outdated carpet, rotting ceiling in the upstairs shower, half the electrical outlets don’t work, and the TV reception is spotty and had to be turned off and turned back on again several times - things that the owners should know about. I would never stay in this place again, in fact I would never stay in Derstiermark again. The building is old and needs work.

This location is tite. Kids loved it (1st timers) I lived here many years ago. Left for the wrong reason. I connect when Im back.

Overall very good from check-in and no major challenges with our rental property. Perfect position.... close to lifts and in town centre.
