Charming lakefront cottage w/ kayaks, a dock, 2 decks & lovely views!

Soak in the sunshine and gorgeous lake views at this two-bedroom Dedham cottage, a charming waterfront retreat with a private dock, a fleet of kayaks, a screened porch, and two beautiful decks to help you enjoy the Maine outdoors.

Stunningly situated on the northern shores of Phillips Lake, this two-level home enjoys spectacular surroundings the whole year round. You'll be just two miles from the Lucerne Hills Golf Club, 14 miles southeast of Bangor, 15 miles northwest of Ellsworth, and 31 miles from the majestic expanse of Acadia National Park.

Step inside to find an atmospheric living space with hardwood floors, exposed paneling on the walls and ceilings, and natural touches such as log banisters. Make yourself at home as you curl up on the sofa, play a board game with your kids, and gaze at the lovely lake view through large picture windows.

Wake up each morning to take a sunrise paddle on the lake, as you launch one of the four provided kayaks from the dock. Come home to prepare breakfast and French-pressed coffee in the country kitchen, which features abundant storage, a high-top table with space for four, and a dishwasher for your convenience.

Spend each afternoon sunbathing in a lounge chair on one of the two decks, reading a book in the comfort of the screened porch, or preparing the gas grill for an outdoor barbecue. The absence of WiFi and cable service will help you unwind, while the TV, DVD player, film library, and sound dock will keep you entertained.

With two bedrooms and one full bathroom, Pearl Point can accommodate as many as four guests. The wood-paneled master bedroom has a queen-size bed, while the cozy guest room offers two twin beds. The bathroom features a small vanity area and a bathtub/shower combination.

Whether you're a lover of water sports, an angler, or a fall foliage enthusiast, this lakefront home offers access to Maine's most beautiful landscapes. Spend the morning on Phillips Lake before playing nine holes at the Lucerne Hills Golf Club, which is especially scenic in the colorful months of autumn.

Looking to explore one of the most tranquil national parks in the entire United States? You'll be just 31 miles from Acadia, where you can scramble up the Precipice Trail to enjoy views of Frenchman Bay, walk along the iconic Ocean Path, or climb to the summit of Cadillac Mountain to see the nation's first sunrise.

The glorious year-round beauty of Maine can be all yours! Book this peaceful, tree-lined cottage for a vacation you'll never forget.

The house was way out on the point and had beautiful views! It was a quaint cabin that felt very homey. It's a perfect place if you are wanting to escape life for a bit. We loved it!

Perfect getaway!

My boyfriend and I traveled here from New Jersey. We had a nice and relaxing stay on this lake front property. Waterfront with direct access to Phillips lake. Property had a "cabin-like" feel with some out-dated appliances but overall was very cozy. We enjoyed the screened in porch and kayaks provided by the owner. Property was about an hour drive from Acadia National Park and Bar Habor. Drive was very scenic though so we did not mind the trip. This house would be suitable for couples or small family of 4. Overall, had a pleasant experience and would return again.

I picked this place for its proximity to Acadia National Park and for a different experience after 4 days in coastal towns. We drove the park loop and stopped at Sand Beach before going to the house with intentions of returning to the Park the next day. After arrival at lake we decided this was the place we wanted to spend our time. This was the highlight of our trip to Maine.
The stairs to the bathroom were a little hard to navigate, especially at nite, but we survived.

Great place to get away from TV and internet and just relax, read and talk to each other. Cell phone reception was very good. The squirrels and chipmonks were entertaining. Sunrise and sunset was wonderful.

What a fantastic vacation spot. We stayed for two nights and this was the highlight of our Northeast trip. Direct water access, gorgeous star-filled skies at night, and relatively easy trips to Acadia (less than 1 hour away). We loved the cabin and hope to return in the future.

The views this property provided are breathtaking. We stayed here for one of our stops on our New England Fall Foliage trip. The views of the lake were magical and perfect. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We had a wonderful time, everything very clean and easy to get around. Probably should be careful at night if you are driving and not familiar many boulders and pot holes in the rode.
Wonderful porch and view. Sunrise/Sunsets amazing. Can't wait to come back!

Was looking for a quite weekend at a nice location and this was exactly that! View was great, neighbors are very close but no one else was around so it still felt very private.

Pros:
-Awesome location, near grocery store but feels "far from it all"
-Private/secluded from most neighbors
-Great for swimming and relaxing on deck

Cons:
-Outdated amenities, kitchen was good enough but not great.
-Not suited for more than 2 adults
-Not great for children

The place was great ! We had a blast . It's a cute little house perfect for a family of four. We have 2 boys , 7 and 10 and we're they were able to catch quite a few fish off the dock . The house shows 4 kayaks , but there were only 2 but that was fine , we made due . Lake was peaceful and quiet .Ride to Ellsworth and Acadia from the house is relatively quick , we would definitely come back

This house is close to a few others but those houses were certainly empty during our stay so it was quiet, private, and so, so, so beautiful. Took the kayaks out for morning and evening "strolls", listened to the loons at night, opened the windows to feel the wonderful breezes. Loved it!
