Pos: Close to town, Lake was great, cleaning 95%, comfortable beds. Had a wonderful time, would return.
Neg: Table/chair maintenance needed, low water pressure, road noise. Parking tight but 4 cars no problem.
Manager response:
Hello Bert! We are pleased to hear you enjoyed your stay! Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback with us. We will be sure to pass your suggestions along to our local manager who will work with our homeowner to make necessary upgrades. We look forward to hosting you again!

This house is big and roomy! Don't be discouraged by negative reviews - the only thing negative about this entire house/setting is some noise from busy Hwy 2 out front. However, inside you don't notice it - only if you are sitting outside. We have stayed in MANY rentals - this is the best stocked kitchen! Perfect for 2 families as well - one on main floor/upstairs loft and one in basement. Sleeps 10 adults comfortably and 14 if there are younger kids involved (the bunk bed is queen over queen) and it's hard for more than one to sleep up top. We couldn't find the kayak paddle so didn't use that, but loved every amenity of this house.

The house location and backyard on the water makes for great outdoor fun. But the house had several maintenance issues. First was the critters. Initially we gave some slack for the 20-30 flies buzzing around the house upon move in, thinking maybe it was a product of airing out the house during COVID cleaning. Despite constantly killing them and being super careful with open doors, they were a constant nuisance. Also, multiple doorways and window sills throughout the house are riddled with dead flies and bugs. The upper deck, which could have been a relaxing place to enjoy morning coffee overlooking the beautiful view, was just gross with at least 20-25 clusters of spider webs each filled with hundreds of dead gnats and the corner of the deck had mouse droppings. So I guess it shouldn’t have been so surprising that on our last day we found a live mouse in the main living area that we had to capture and take outside. While I realize homeowners can’t control all bugs and critters that might get in the home, the sheer volume of dead bugs and obvious droppings make it clear this was a cleaning and maintenance problem. Then there is the sewer hole in the driveway that is missing it’s grate covering making it dangerous for adults to fall into but possibly deadly for a child. We put a broken chair we found on the property over the hole to make sure no one in our party got hurt. The liability of renting to the public with that dangerous open hole in the driveway was really mind-blowing and needs immediate attention. Despite the road noise, this house could have been a very pleasant waterfront vacation home. But the gross and dangerous nature of the maintenance problems outweighed the positive factors of this rental home.
Manager response:

We booked this home a full year out. Drove 5 hours to get there, opened the door at our appointment 4pm check-in time to find that the home hadn’t been cleaned from the prior renters. We had a family of twelve that couldn’t move into the space that we had booked. We made many phone calls to Vasaca, being told that the manager would contact us with more details. Over an hour went by when we again had to make another call to get information. A cleaning lady showed up all by herself at 5:15, to then be joined by another.
The manager finally gave us word that he would be refunding our firsts nights rent as well as the cleaning fee for our troubles. This was greatly appreciated and a must, but it didn’t make up for the time lost. We didn’t get to move into the home until just after 8pm.
That aside, The house was great and spacious, we never felt on top of each other. The rooms were all good size and the beds were comfortable. There were lots of bath towels, but only 5 beach towels.
The view was amazing and the back yard was perfect for all our outdoor games! And there was lots of parking space.
Some downsides:
We rented this house for “lake access”.. most of the time the water level was low, so you would have to walk through thick mud and rocks to even get into the water, then the lake itself was covered in Milfoil ( a type of grass/seaweed) that was all over, so swimming through it, all though doable, was creepy and gross. We were lucky enough to have our boat, so we used that to drive out past the muck to swim off the back, but it would have been so nice for us to be able to swim and frolic right from the back yard. The dock wasn’t great, but it served its purpose.
The kitchen sink was a joke, three small sinks side by side, it was very hard to do any type of washing.
There wasn’t any plastic food containers or plastic wrap for food storage, but we made due. I think a few more things could be added to improve what is there.
Lastly, the road noise from the Highway was very load and really took away from the Feel of the place. It was definitely distracting.
All in all we had a really good time and were thankful for the opportunity.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review. Our homes are typically ready for 4:00 PM arrivals and we apologize for that delay and the communication during that time - please know that this is by no means our regular standard. We are glad you had a good time and hope we get the opportunity to host you again in the near future.

This house made us to have a break in the middle of the pandemic, very much needed from me and my family. We were able to switch off ad enjoy some days out of our routine.
The setting and views are great. The hot tub made us enjoy greatly each night looking at the stars.
Plenty of space in the house for large groups, and beautiful yard to enjoy with a fire pit and a bbq. Plenty of outdoor chairs for everybody.
Beds were very comfy and we had plenty of linens and towels (beach and bath).
The pool and futsal games in the garage were great and made us enjoy even more our time there.
I'm afraid, though, that I have to point out some things that I think should be improved by Vacasa and/or the owners.
When we arrived, the house was not as clean as we were expecting. We found dust in the kitchen and living room, kitchen cabinets and fridge with dirty finger prints and stains, some trash not removed, greasy pots and pans, and carpet not greatly vacuumed. No ideal... If this would have happened in a different time, I wouldn't even put this, in the review, but in the middle of COVID, I think this is not OK, and houses need to be sparkling clean and disinfected. I spent a whole morning cleaning in depth the house so we could enjoy our week there with no worries.
The upstairs bedroom does not have any curtains or blinds. It is just the window glass, so as soon as the sun comes up, the room has lots of light. If you are OK with sleeping with light and no blinds, then this will work for you. If not, like me, then you will need something to cover your eyes. I'd suggest to vacasa to add some blinds to the windows in this room.
Something that you also need to know is, that the house is just next to a main road and there is considerable noise from the road. I sleep with earplugs so didn't bother too much, but just for you to be aware.
Manager response:
Hi Lindsay, Thank you for sharing your feedback. We are glad you enjoyed your stay with us! We appreciate you letting us know there is room for improvement regarding some specific cleanliness issues with the home. We also appreciate your recommendation of adding curtains or blinds to the upstairs room. We will pass your feedback to our housekeeping and management team for future consideration. We hope to have another chance to impress you in the future!

Such a delightful house! It was just the vacation we needed.

Before I start listing everything that is wonderful about this house, I'll start with the very few negatives: You can hear road noise from the yard. The kitchen sink is a strange shape. That's it. That is the only things wrong I can find about this house. Now onto the good stuff.

Rooms galore! Two living rooms, a game room, and a huge kitchen lead to lots of interior space to hang out. Three bedrooms, plus a bunk bed in the lower living room allow for lots of sleeping arrangements.

Entertainment is made easy with Netflix enabled TVs, lots of board games, interesting books, puzzles, a pool table, a foosball table and a large yard. Speaking of the yard - did you see that view? Holy smokes it is gorgeous. Sitting on the chairs, watching the water skiers go by while warming yourself on the fire. Or, even better, watch the view from the hot tub!

The kitchen is well appointed with two fridges, 3 coffee makers, a Vitamix blender, toaster, crock pot, two ovens, gas stove, and plenty of dishes, pans and utensils.

There were more towels than we could possibly need and the washer and dryer guaranteed we wouldn't run out.

Oh, and did I mention that there are the most delightfully cozy throw blankets available throughout the house?

I cannot wait to go back!

We stayed with three families and had the best time. The house is nicely set up with a game room downstairs. The house was well equipped and has the most amazing view. We would definitely stay again.

House is amazing. Plenty space. Great views. Well kept.

Loved the organization of rooms to accomodate 3 families nicely. Comfy mattresses and bedding. Had almost everything we needed. Would have been 5 stars if: we got a response to low water issue in the hot tub, we could better control the heat, and they had a salad spinner. All-in-all, great stay, though.

We loved spending Thanksgiving weekend at this house! It was absolutely fully stocked and two ovens and two refrigerators made storing and cooking so easy! The game room came in handy and the furniture was clean and comfortable. Thank you!
Lacey L. Oct 2019
This was the perfect house for a large group of us (no kids - although it would be perfect with kids, too!). Every single bed was comfortable. Every nook and cranny was clean as a whistle. The kitchen was well stocked, the living room comfortable, and plenty of space for 14 of us to not feel cramped.

A little bit of road noise, but nothing so bad that it pulls you away from the beauty of your surroundings. It is also a sneaky driveway, so when you're coming up on it to turn, just be weary.

The bunk beds were moved to the basement area and are no longer in the garage, in case that was a deterrent for you in any way ;)

I would highly recommend this to everyone looking for a comfortable, clean vacation home! It was such a treat!

This house is located 2 miles north of Lincoln Rock State Park. A 20 minute drive to Wenatchee or 5 minute drive to Lincoln Rock where you can pick up the Rocky Reach bike trail to the Apple Loop bike trail through Wenatchee. The house is right on the river with its own dock and fire pit by the water. There are three bedrooms, each with a king bed and a large rec room downstairs that has queen bunks. All the beds were extremely comfortable. The garage has been converted into a pool room. The house was clean and well appointed. We were a little diappointed that the previous renters had left the barb-b-queue a mess with a large glob of meat grease on the concrete under the barb-b-queue. We burned off all the crap on the grill and cleaned it up and Vacasa was very responsive and sent someone out to clean up the concrete, although it was left stained. Too bad. Anyway, we loved our stay and house was plenty big for three couples and still left room for privacy when we wanted it.

Loved everything about the house!
