Cute, clean and stylish backyard apartment in the Bywater neighborhood with lots of bars, cafes, vintage shops and restaurants within walking distance to check out. Our favorite part was how close and convenient it was to the RTA bus line, making it super easy to get around the whole city. Only a 30min walk from Frenchman street too. Would come again !

We loved EVERYTHING about this little house. It was clean and is beauifully decorated , had everything we needed to feel super comfortable and we felt private within a great neighborhood. We will be back for sure πŸ‘πŸ‘ŒπŸ‘

We loved the little touches (extra towels, nice toiletries, outfitted kitchen, local art). Very clean. Much quieter than expected. So many fun things to walk to.
Marcus B. Oct 2022
Very convenient but not amazingly clean and wasn't the safest-feeling given some of our issues with the locks. Great backyard though

It was lovely. Will stay again and recommend to a friend.

We had such a wonderful stay in the home. So much so that while sitting on the deck on our checkout day we lost track of time until the cleaning service showed up. That is a first, as we were owners of a bed and breakfast.
Thank you for such a comfortable home. We hope to return in 2-3 weeks

The location is great, and the unit layout was sweet. We didn't hear any noise from neighbors. Everything was very clean and worked well -- except the AC-- when on there was a high pitch sound (like locusts) that we couldn't adjust to. Vacasa was great -- they helped us 100%. Even sent someone over to check the AC to see if there was a repair that could be done. We ended up turning the AC off, but it was really hot so didn't sleep well.

There is a cool iron gate for security but it needs to be locked and unlocked with a key. It is a charming gate, but if it was locked it wouldn't be an easy exit in case of emergency. And if it was unlocked, we felt a little vulnerable to break in. Otherwise, it was a sweet spot.

The renovation was well done, the kitchen well outfitted. The Beware Dog signing was not something I had not been warned about and this necessitated a call to Vacasa when I was exhausted from my drive. Entrance arrangement is very awkward to utilize.
Manager response:
Thank you for your feedback, Deborah. we apologize for any concerns you had gaining access to our home. We make every effort to present clear, accurate descriptions of our homes for our guests and have staff available 24/7 should guests need to reach out at any time during their stay. My girlfriend and I were visiting New Orleans for a few days - and we wanted to stay in a safe neighborhood within the city where we could experience the city's culture. We found it at Rosalie Garden. It was in an ideal location - with popular neighborhood bars and restaurants all over... AND it was safe to walk at night. The suite itself was ideal for two people - privately located at the back of a house - similar to a Bed and Breakfast. It was clean - had a kitchen - with all the appliances we wanted/needed - and it had a backyard. We even met the owner - who was very sweet and attentive to our needs. If and when we visit NOLA again - we are definitely coming back to Rosalie Garden. We both highly recommend the place.

Everything you could want for a sweet little stay in New Orleans. Plus a really lovely deck in the yard for coffee, tea or cocktails. Just down the street from some cool neighborhood bars, bakery, and good food. Close enough to the French quarter, but nice enough just to hang back. Would absolutely stay here again.

My husband and I celebrated our anniversary in New orleans and booked this house. It was very quiet, comfy and bus will take you wherever you need to go. Also the neighborhood restaurants are amazing

the space is actually the back rooms of a larger home. the walls are thin! loud in the early morning hours. the lock doesn’t fully secure the door shut and can be easily pushed open. pretty and in a great neighborhood! be sure to ask more questions before booking.

This was such a fun and wonderful house to stay in! Not only is the neighborhood full of great local bars and delicious restaurants, but it is a little over a mile walk from Bourbon St. and the French Quarter. 10/10 will definitely be booking again next time I visit NOLA!
