This unique dog-friendly Dripping Springs vacation rental has access to an outdoor entertainment area complete with a shared pool and two hot tubs, as well as an outdoor kitchen, creating a fun experience for a group of girlfriends, a small family, or a group of post-wedding guests. The cottage is a single-level home of quirky taste, with nice hardwood floors and a mix of fun antique furnishings. The living room is on the simple side, making it a wonderful space for guests to relax. Entertainment amenities include WiFi, a DVD player and movie selection to watch on the flatscreen TV (there is no cable), and several board games. Guests traveling with little ones have a Pack N' Play, baby gates, and a high chair to use. The kitchen is an immaculate space with white cabinetry, white appliances, and sand tone countertops (please note that there is no dishwasher). The pressed tin backsplash and cute trinkets add a bit of flair to the culinary experience.
Take the fun outside to the shared back patio, where you can cook a meal in the outdoor kitchen while other guests splash about in the shared pool - this area is shared between the three homes on the property. The sandstone kitchen is fully covered and well-lit, and includes a stainless steel gas grill, a mini-fridge, and a single gas burner. There's even a bar for observers to drink and chat with the grill master. The pool area is surrounded by lounge chairs and picnic tables for the ultimate outdoor party. No need to go back inside to freshen up - there's an outdoor locker area here, complete with a shower and toilet! Use the in-home washer/dryer to keep towels and bathing suits fresh.
This is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom home. Both of the bedrooms have queen beds, TVs, and are lovingly named after the vintage soda signs that hang above the beds. One of the sofas in the living room pulls out into a full-size sleeper. All in all, this home can sleep up to six guests. Well-behaved, friendly dogs are welcome to come too (please note that there is an additional nightly fee).
What's nearby: It'll be hard to want to do anything else but explore this property, which itself includes hiking trails and plenty of outdoor spaces to nap or read in the shade under a tree or by the pool. At night, pack up blankets and thermoses of hot chocolate and find a good spot to stargaze. This is an ideal location for guests of weddings (Dripping Springs is known as the Wedding Capital of Texas) or those looking to experience the quirky culture of Austin. SXSW festival-goers will find this a well-priced alternative to a rental in the city.

We stayed for 17 day's and really enjoyed the location. It was a cute little cabin and for the most part was great! We did have an issue getting someone to fix the internet and it took almost a week to get that fixed but they were very polite about it. The TV in one of the bedrooms didn't work. The trash was all the way out by the road in front of the main house and was quite a walk to take it out and my parents are older. Glad I was able to be there to take it out for them. There were a few roaches, the small ones that we did see in the kitchen. The driveway into the cottage was so bad we had a hard time pulling into it. But other than that we enjoyed our stay and the view is great! We saw lots of deer! The owners are very nice and helped me with booking and even let us look around before booking. The patio area is very nice. We were able to use the grill one night when the other guest weren't using it and set outside and had dinner. We would probably stay here again if we happen to be in the area.

We had a great time, the area feels like you are away from the city, however it is close by places to eat and Austin trails. We loved the outside area and saw deer everyday. The cottage was nice and had all necessary ammenities. It was clean, however I do suggest a bit deeper cleaning (under beds and couch etc.) The living room rug it was very old and stained. Other than that, the pool area was also amazing. We will probably go back.

Cleanest cottage we’ve ever stayed in! Thought was put into the smallest details. Cottage was stocked with everything you need and then some! Loved the pool and games outside! My family was impressed and will definitely be back! We loved the fact you are off the path but close to all the stores nearby! I would recommend this place to anybody just wanting some R&R. We drove to the state park 20 min away and enjoyed some fishing as well!!

We loved the Cottage. It was very peaceful. Every morning we had coffee on the porch with up to 16 deer. We heard birds and roosters in the distance. The Cottage was equipped with everything we needed. We used the hot tub each night. It is a great place near the end of a quiet road but close to grocery stores and restaurants!

We came in winter and it was chilly but the house is warm and inviting. The grounds were fun to explore. Beautiful views of the hills and valley. Lots of trees and land to run around on. We saw 7 deer. The kids freaked out! Everything you could want. We’ll come back in summer to use the pool and outdoor kitchen. Clean. Easy to access.

We had a wonderful and amazing time on our stay as a family on the property. The interior and exterior decor gave us a greater feel of being in the Texas Hill Country. We plan to revisit and stay here again; no doubt. The only regret was not bring more family and friends with us and adding more days to our stay. But we definitely will be doing so very soon.

We were looking for a quiet spring break experience, away from the crowds, where my parents and my kids could get some much needed R&R. I am so glad we found this place! The property is gorgeous and has convenient access to HWY 290 which is helpful when you need to pick something up "in town". It's right down the street from an HEB and a Starbucks, which for this city girl is a win. The kids loved the pool, hot tub, and the huge yard to run around in. The property owner text me when we arrived and was responsive to any questions that I had. The house was also fully stocked with cleaning supplies, it had clean, comfy beds, and a great front porch for sitting and drinking sweet tea while watching the kids roll around in the yard. We had such a great time, so happy we found this little gem in the heart of Texas country!

We stayed in the cottage with our son, daughter in law, 4 month old grandchild and their lab. The house was vintage with all the modern features. The beds were comfortable all of the linens & towels were newer and clean. The single bathroom was large so someone could be getting ready while someone else's was showering. It was too cold to swim but the pool and hottub looked great. We walked around the property and the main house was beautiful. This location would be great for a large family getaway using the entire property. Close enough to town for something to eat but remote enough for a view.

Our family stayed in all 3 units on this property and it was perfect for our 3 generations to enjoy the Wedding Weekend of our daughter and son-in-law in Dripping Springs. Leeanne made us feel very welcome, from a phone call before our visit to fresh flowers and champagne awaiting the betrothed couple. She truly cares about her guests and provides all sorts of amenities and toiletries not seen in other vacation homes. The Ranch House, Cottage and Studio are all furnished with beautiful antiques and memorabilia, unique artwork, and lovely linens in all the rooms. We mainly used the Ranch House kitchen and it was well furnished with everything one would need. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained with its own artwork and memorabilia scattered about. Several deer were sighted passing through. I confidently give this property the highest recommendation and would definitely stay here again

We needed a place for "overflow" of family at Thanksgiving. The Cottage was an ideal location, in a quiet rural community but still close to home, Austin, Dripping Springs. The Cottage was comfortable, clean and charming. Our guests truly enjoyed their stay. In fact, the rest of us were jealous. I will definitely rent the Cottage again.

I give this place 5 stars. Quaint home is great for 4 people and for 6 if you don't mind pulling out the couch. Great pool and outdoor facilities and a fully stocked kitchen. The washer/dryer was a nice surprise.
Morning coffee on the front porch gives you a view of the sunrise and roving deer across the front of the property.

The Cottage was very charming. Price was right. Nearby hotels were just slightly cheaper, but we got so much more for just a few dollars more. Fully equipped kitchen in the cottage. Saved money by cooking therr instead of doing restaurants. Pool, outdoor facilities (bath & commode) were very convenient & clean. Was like another full bath just steps away from the cottage. The full outdoor kitchen was incredible. I almost hesitate giving this great review so that we could keep this gem our secret.

What a cute property. Straight out of pinterest. Perfect place for our get together with friends before school starts again. We hung out by pool and played games one day. On the other days we checked out Pedernales Falls and the secret swimming hole! close to everything like Salt Lick BBQ and Deep Eddy Distillery!

We were able to meet the owner several months prior to our booking and she was very nice and helpful. We explained that our son was getting married in July and the reason for our stay. She was more than willing to help or accommodate us with anything we needed.
We were able to arrive earlier than our 4:00 check-in time due to the availability of the house (which was very helpful for us to settle in and get to our rehearsal dinner set-up). The owner happened to be there upon our arrival and greeted us, opened up for us and set our AC.
The fact that we could bring our dogs was great!
The pool was a wonderful added treat too! Fabulous experience, the family loved it. Wish we could have stayed longer!

We came out from Austin with some friends who rented the other cabin on the grounds. We couldn't have been happier with the accommodations. Yet the real selling point is the pool, patio and outdoor kitchen. It makes you feel like you're living large for that very moment.
We never saw the owners for the entire weekend even though their house is adjacent to everything. They left us a nice message with some candy upon our arrival. Very sweet.

My family visited Hamilton Pool after a large rain so there was a "no swimming" restriction on Hamilton Pool the day we visited (it was still beautiful). Thankfully our rental vacation property had a great pool. We swam and no one was disappointed and no one missed out on swimming.

Adorable little house with all the amenities needed for a fun weekend. Plus, it's filled with fun vintage furnishings and everything was super clean.
The location was great. We loved being at the house, but it was so close to Austin, antiquing, the shops in Fredericksburg, enchanted rock and more. I can't wait to go back in the summer to spend the day around the pool.

My boyfriend and I needed a weekend away from the concrete jungle, so we ventured to Dripping Springs for the weekend with our two dogs. The cottage was exactly what we were looking for. The location was serene and lovely, with beautiful views overlooking the sprawling hillside. The cottage and grounds were decorated with old trunks and signage, vintage furniture, and shabby-chic details. It has that quintessential quirky Austin vibe.
In the mornings, we woke up to deer, ducks, and squirrels outside our windows grazing the property.
During the day, our dogs absolutely loved exploring the outdoors and were able to run around and play.
The pool and outdoor grill area was very inviting. Unfortunately, it was too cold for us to enjoy it, but we will definitely be back during the summer!
All in all, I would definitely recommend this place to anyone feeling nostalgic, looking for retreat from the hustle and bustle.

We hiked with the our dogs, cooked our own meals, and enjoy the scenery! The cabin was very cute and very well decorated. We stayed during the winter so we didn't get to use the pool but it was very well-kept and beautiful to look at and we are excited to come back when it's hot outside again. It's really hard to find a nice place that allows your dogs. It's also great to have a nice place with so much surrounding land so you can run and play with them.

This house is secluded in the dripping springs country and has been decorated so perfectly. We were OVERLY impressed with how clean and how every item was perfectly placed, creating such a homey feel. I think this would be a perfectly girls get away trip to go wine tasting or couples trip with a few friends. There are close neighbors so we weren't able to be too loud when we were outside at night but the home is set up to entertain a small group so it worked out just perfectly!

We were temporarily displaced while waiting for our new home to be finished. Wanted a place close by and found this hidden gem! Such a cute place and so nice to have a full kitchen and full size washer and dryer in the house! The pool was awesome and it was so peaceful. Kids loved it and we were able to keep our dog with us. Made a stressful situation so much nicer.
