Beautiful chic home with modern design & walkable location near everything

Units A, B, and C are all on 2 levels, with unit A boasting a washer and dryer and 4 tall windows that look down over bustling King Street. Each of these 3 units has central heat and air, WIFI, a living area with a TV, and a half bath downstairs next to a modern kitchen equipped with counter stools, stainless-steel appliances, and cookware. Each unit has two original brick and wood-accented bedrooms, each with a TV, and sharing one full bathroom with a ceramic tiled walk-in shower. It is important to note that the 2 bedrooms in these 3 units can only be reached via a spiral metal staircase.

We refer to the 6 units at 563 King Street collectively as “Narnia”, because of their storied past as home to some of Charleston’s most enthusiastic young revelers, who lovingly dubbed their temporary abode with this fitting moniker in the 1980s and '90s. Narnia remains a magical place where anything can happen, only now it’s been completely renovated into 6 luxury apartments that are available to rent by the night or week. This group of apartments is housed on the 2nd level of a building that is over 100 years old, so each one boasts unique old-world construction elements - like exposed brick and antique heart pine floors, blended with shiplap accent walls. These apartments were all recently refurbished to provide a seamless experience with the interiors of the 21 units in the newly constructed Firetower building, which is attached at the far end of the breezeway.

Each of Narnia’s six apartments is adjacent to a spacious, open-air deck, which is for the use of Firetower guests only. This common space is furnished with four comfortable conversation areas and has globe-string lights above for pleasant glowing evenings under the night sky.

In addition to this charming social space, the property offers a furnished rooftop deck on top of the new Firetower building (take the outdoor stairs at the end of Narnia’s breezeway) From this vantage point is a breathtaking, 360-degree panorama of the historic steeples, rooftops, and bridges that define the Holy City’s dramatic skyline.
