Also close to the house are the sandbar at Mokins Bay (where boaters can anchor and then wade onto the sandbar), Sportsman Park (five miles north), and Honeysuckle Beach (12 miles southwest). Downtown Coeur d'Alene is also just 18 miles southwest.
