Fully Renovated Lakefront Home w/ New Dock, Two Fireplaces, Decks, & Lake View

Gorgeously situated on more than an acre of land overlooking Hayden Lake, this fully remodeled, lakefront home will bring a sense of cozy charm to your next summer vacation or quiet winter escape. Here on the shores of Mokins Bay (a delightfully tranquil no-wake zone), you'll have a private dock for swimming and boating, a wrap-around porch that's perfect for evening barbecues with a view of the lake, and a pair of inviting fireplaces to curl up next to each night.

With a freshly renovated interior and exterior as of 2021, this three-level home provides elements of woodsy charm that seamlessly blend with every modern convenience. Step inside the main level to find wood and stone tile floors, large windows that frame the surrounding evergreens, an open dining space with seating for eight, and an adjoining living room where you can watch TV (with a WiFi-enabled Blu-ray player for streaming) in the warmth of the fireplace. The kitchen has been updated from top to bottom, offering richly hued wood cabinetry, stainless steel appliances, and beautiful stone countertops that make a memorable prep space. The outdoor areas are just as special, with a new dock on the lake, terraced landscaping, a gas grill for your nightly barbecues, and wonderful deck space overlooking the lake, the woods, and the surrounding mountains.

At night, you can leave the day's clothes and swimsuits to spin in the washer/dryer, stream movies in the living room, and retire to a comfortable bed - each bedroom has its own floor. The atmospheric master suite - featuring lovely wood walls and a jetted bathtub - is on the top floor, the guest room and another full bathroom with a walk-in shower are on the main level, and a fantastic bunk room with a second fireplace awaits downstairs.

This home sits on 1.1 acres - a rarity for the area - on the shores of Mokins Bay, a quiet, no-wake section of Hayden Lake that's great for swimming, paddleboarding, kayaking, and boating. The lake is wonderfully uncrowded, warm in the summertime, and a prime spot for fishing, sailing, and all types of water sports. In this private and secluded spot, you'll find safe tie-ups on your private dock, two public boat launches on the way to the house, as well as boats available to rent at the nearby Hayden Lake Marina. Also close to the house are the sandbar at Mokins Bay (where boaters can anchor and then wade onto the sandbar), Sportsman Park (five miles north), and Honeysuckle Beach (12 miles southwest). Downtown Coeur d'Alene is also just 18 miles southwest.

Cell service is limited in the area
No AC (but the house stays cool thanks to all of the surrounding trees)

It was a really nice home to stay at. Just some warnings. The home could use a little TLC. Faucet in the kitchen needs tightening/replaced and a screen added to the bathroom window on the main floor (w/ no AC, opening windows was the only relief in 80+ degree weather). The kitchen was stocked with the basics with the bonus of storage containers which were a great asset to have. We made almost all our meals at the house.

There is great lake access; it's just the lake in this area is extremely mucky and not usable. Don't try and walk in the muck or you WILL lose your shoes as we experienced. The dock is really nice. We rented a pontoon party boat and spent our time out in the better part of the lake.

We really enjoyed hanging out on the deck looking out over the lake, watching bald eagles, and the terraced landscaping was fun for the kids to play on. We had 4 teenagers that had a great time playing tag and hide'n seek!

There is no cell service but the house has wifi that worked well.
