Come enjoy this freshly updated, retro beach cottage just ½ mile from the sand and a 10-minute walk to Pipes (Cardiff State Beach) and Swami’s Beach. This is a beautiful section of the coastline, and this home offers miles of beautiful Pacific views.

You can stroll on the newly completed walking and bike path in Cardiff by the Sea. Or if you want to relax without effort, two well-furnished patio decks will make it easy. Just a few steps from the great room is a long deck with high top stools and a wide railing. Just right for morning coffee or an evening libation.
The 2 nd patio deck, down a few stairs, offers a stunning unobstructed ocean view and is the perfect place for a barbecue and outside dining for 4-6. A comfortable fire pit cluster is the perfect place to watch the glow of the fire and the sunset at the same time.
This 2-bedroom, 2-bath, 1400 sq. ft. 1-story cottage has had some modern updates and sports all new furniture both inside and out. – all of which will delight the pickiest of guests.

The great room, with a large window flanked by original stain glass overlooking the awe inspiring Pacific Ocean, sports a large flat screen TV and a cozy and comfortable seating cluster.

A view-dining alcove for 4-6 has a ceiling fan to keep you comfortable at all times. The kitchen has all the modern conveniences you expect, making it easy for you to create meals and snacks. All you need do is add the food and the camaraderie and enjoy yourselves.

This home has 2 bedrooms – a king master bedroom with an en suite bath with a shower/tub combination. The 2nd bedroom has a queen bed and there is a kid friendly loft with a queen foam mattress and a full sofa sleeper in the living room.

This home comfortably sleeps 6 in beds and the loft can sleep an additional 2. The 2nd bathroom
is shared, and all bed and bathrooms are furnished with an ample supply of premiere
linens to ensure your ultimate comfort.
Additional amenities include a washer and dryer for your convenience and WIFI and cable.
Within walking distance to the Cardiff Town Center, home of the famous Seaside Market (Cardiff Crack), VG’s Donuts, and numerous restaurants and cafés; and great driving proximity to LEGOLAND, downtown, and many other world-class adventures in the greater San Diego area.

THINGS WE LOVE ABOUT THIS HOME!
Outside there is plenty of room to stretch out and enjoy one another with a multi-level deck with an outside dining area, barbecue, and a comfortable fire pit seating cluster.
The back yard is well landscaped and maintained giving you the feel of the beach surrounded by lush landscaping and colorful plants to delight your senses. This cozy original cottage has all the charm you need to make this a perfect, and easy vacation destination.

THINGS YOUR SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THIS HOME:
No smoking is allowed inside or outside our properties – NO EXCEPTIONS!
This home (like most in this coastal area) does not have AC.
There is no parking in the driveway but ample parking is available across the street.
This home is west of I-5 and is on a fairly busy street.
This home sits high on a hill and may not be suitable for everyone as there are stairs to the entry and the beach.
There are 2 additional units on this property that are occupied year round. The stairs on the south side of the property are the long term tenant's access to their units.
This home is located in a quiet neighborhood and is only suitable for quieter groups. Our rental agreement includes a no tolerance policy regarding excessive noise, occupancy and/or parties. Deposit forfeitures and/or evictions are strictly enforced. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting with Vacasa Seasonals, Inc.

My wife and I had a wonderfully romantic stay at this ocean front cottage. The location, parking, views and small touches around the cottage were wonderful. The kitchen is well equipped, and there is plenty of space to lounge, sip coffee and wine, and catch the sunset. Some of the windows are a bit faulty (screens pop out easily; hard to slide open/close; some don't stay up), and a handful of the kitchen supplies are old and out of date, so if you're expecting a brand new, modern unit with all up to date appliances, supplies and features, you may want to look elsewhere. Our verdict: we'll be repeat guests.

We had a lovely stay at this very beachy, charming cottage. Across the street from the ocean, enjoyed the boardwalk more than anything. We loved being high above the sand which gave incredible views all day long. And the most amazing sunsets! We had reservations being so close to the train tracks, but the trains do not blow their horns through this residential area and the commuter trains are smooth and super quiet. The beds were super comfortable and we used the wood burning fireplace every night. It’s a short walk into downtown Encinitas to the north and equally short walk south to the famous Seaside Market and the shops/cafes around it. The owners live on the property in the back and they are very friendly yet respectful of our space. Nice to know they were close if we had any issues which we didn’t. Look forward to visiting again soon!

Enjoyed the space inside and outdoors…. Has the best ocean views from morning to night… loved the walkways.. enjoy bike riding or taking walks to the beach or near by restaurants snd shops… can’t wait to return!! This is a beautiful home. It is accessible to the beach and convenient to stores and shops. This location has a million dollar view of the ocean and the most spectacular sunsets. Not only did this home have a beautiful and comfortable interior, the patio and viewing deck with the gas fire pit made our stay even better. We will be back to stay here again!
