The first floor is quite spacious. The combined dining room and living room are the heart of the cottage, lined with large windows overlooking the front lawn and the ocean. Enjoy a comfortable sofa, a gas-fired brick fireplace, and a dining room table that's a great place to eat, play games, or put together a puzzle on a rainy day. The galley-style kitchen is reminiscent of days gone by with beautiful shiplap cupboards, built-ins, and a breakfast bar. The den at the back of the house is a wonderful place to relax at the end of the day, offering a flatscreen TV and a DVD player. The cottage is equipped with free WiFi as well.

The spacious primary bedroom occupies the second floor. This recently renovated room has vaulted ceilings and incredible views of the ocean.

On this dead-end road (which minimizes traffic), you'll be within walking distance of the village center of Owls Head, where you'll find a neat general store, a library, a post office, and a wharf where you can buy lobsters. Within a short drive are bustling Rockland, Tenants Harbor, Port Clyde, Camden, and Rockport. Owls Head is a great place to feel away from it all while still having the Midcoast at your fingertips!
