The location on the shore of Lake Champlain was perfect and beautiful. Too cool in October to use the lake, but the sunsets were wonderful.

The house is impeccably clean and kitchen/other rooms well equipped. Good for six people (onyly two baths). Thoughtful details llike hangars on back of doors, washer/dryer with detergent, etc. Upstairs beds less comfortabe than the two downstairs double beds. Brand new operational grill and a kitchen with all need to prepare meals.

Good for a family or several couples. Out of the way, which is the point., on Grand Isle, only 26 miles from the Canadian border . Good info on locating and how to enter the house. A manual would have helped with details about the heating, etc., but we managed.

Thanks for a beautiful fall weekend.

Nice vibe, overall very comfortable, good kitchen and location. could use a little updating on second floor, smallish bed, carpet in need of a good cleaning, shared bath on first floor, but gerally very nice.
Manager response:
Robert, we are so happy to hear you had a nice stay. We will be sure to pass your feedback along to our local manager for consideration. We look forward to hosting you again! Thank you!

The only downside to our one-week stay at this property is that we could not extend it to last the entire summer! We thoroughly enjoyed our time at this waterside cottage.

Arriving at nightfall, we were delighted to find this cozy home so inviting. Photos on this site are accurate: neat, open floor plan, lots of windows. When morning came, the incredible view of the lake took our breath away. The cliff drop to the water gave it almost an infinity perspective. We all swam, biked, played games and later toasted marshmallows at the firepit. Five stars plus.

The home was great for us. There were 4 adults and 1 toddler for most of the week (2 other adults joined us for a few nights). There was more than enough room for all of us to eat and relax. The home has most everything you need - more than many others we've rented in New England.

We spent many hours on the 'fire pit' patio - enjoying the days, sunsets and evenings. (The sunset views are really hard to beat.) Make sure to bring your water shoes if you stay in this area. The rocks are slippery and the mussels are sharp.

There is a wide variety of great activities in the area. We biked over 100 miles over several days, rented a boat for a 1/2 day in North Hero and visited many of the local farms. The water was really nice and it is a great spot for swimming, kayaking or stand-up paddle boarding. We hope to return to the area again next summer.

We loved this lake house - we arrived to a gorgeous sunset, cozy chairs and hammock ready for relaxation. The home was perfect for us - a well appointed kitchen, comfy beds and living areas with lovely views of Lake Champlain. Our son skipped rocks and searched for fossils. We discovered the Wed evening farmers market in South Hero for provisions for local, grass-fed steaks, fresh veggies, maple glazed nuts and pie - returned home to grill and enjoy an evening by the fire pit - who could ask for anything more? So glad the owner is sharing this gem!

Wife and I visited in early June with our two kids and my in-laws. The place is ideal for 5-6 people with plenty of seating and quiet space as well as wonderful lakeside fire pit and hammock and a private deck/dock facing the sunset. Truly a perfect spot, less than 30 minutes to Burlington but totally serene. The property manager was friendly and responsive. Some board games, puzzles and books. We loved this place and would stay again.

Views and bonfire pit are great. House is well appointed and cozy. Outside could use a little TLC, but it may have been due to our mid May stay. We were attending our daughter's graduation from UVM and the drive only takes about 20 - 25 minutes. Would definitely stay in this area of South Hero and this home again.
