Private island getaway with beach access, lake views, wood stove, and WiFi

Beautifully crafted in 2007, this lakefront gem is just the place to let your worries slip away. This home sits on an acre-and-a-half lot that boasts 240 feet of lake frontage that will be ideal for fishing and swimming come summer. When you come up from the beach, an outdoor shower awaits to rinse off sandy toes and suits! Inside, you will find an airy and open layout featuring high cathedral ceilings, floor-to-ceiling windows facing the water, rustic wood paneling, and a wood stove to cozy up beside after a full day of adventure. When everyone works up an appetite, the full kitchen is equipped with Corian countertops, oak cabinets, modern appliances, a spacious island, and a double sink to make any recipe a breeze. Relaxation won't be hard to come by either with a hammock, newer deck, comfortably furnished living areas, and the south-facing sunroom. Not to mention, the main bedroom offers an ensuite bathroom complete with a deep jetted tub to soak in each night.

What's nearby:
The slow island lifestyle is the main draw in this area, as bonfires, boating, biking, and swimming are all great ways to use each day. The master bedroom is the feature room of the house, complete with a view to the lake.
All light switches were labeled - brilliant
Big property-semi private. Neighbors about 50 yards away on both sides. Located on a dead end road.
Easy access into the lake for kayaking or boating.
Air conditioners in many rooms.
TVs in 2 bedrooms and living room.
Internet is great.
Communication was great.
The kitchen needs attention to the details.
Most of the frying pans were unusable because they were beyond dirty or ruined. Most of them you wouldn't want to cook food in. We scrubbed one to use. They are scorched and burned, misused for their purpose, I'm sure, and need to be thrown out. Several pots were dirty or greasy. Toaster oven was greasy as was some of the silverware. We washed everything before we used it and went out and bought a frying pan. The core dishes and glassware were fine.
Kitchen needed more cooking utensils and touches like resealable bags, saranwrap, aluminum foil, spices, things like that.
Vacations center around great meals. A well appointed, immaculate kitchen needs to be a focus for us.
There's very limited seating in the living room. We brought folding chairs.
Water leaked under the sun room door during a moderate rain.

With a little attention this place would be perfect for a small group. We were 4 adults and filled it. The bird watching was amazing. If you're a sun worshiper you'll love it, lots of usable outdoor space and lots of glass to let light in. Outdoors you get some road noise from across the lake but inside it's very quiet.
It's an all wood interior from floor to ceiling, very nice.
Plenty of towels and linens.
Plenty of ceiling fans.
Bathrooms are small but serviceable.
Extras if you look around: blankets, iron, soaps, cleaning supplies.

All in all we'd stay again but hope they make the improvements in the kitchen.

The cabin is wonderful - it’s stocked with everything you need for an awesome lakeside getaway! The picnic table was a great spot for outdoor meals and the hammock had a perfect view of every beautiful sunset. It definitely felt like each detail was well thought-out by the owner. We loved that it also had a dishwasher, washer and dryer which allowed us to spend more time enjoying the outdoors and less time cleaning up. The air-conditioning in every room made the super hot days more bearable. We are definitely looking forward to coming back again and making this spot a regular destination to bring friends and family.

Place was very comfortable and low key. Big yard. Great place to kick back and relax with family and pets.

The home was exactly what we were looking for - not just located right next to Lake Champlain but very open. We were able to enjoy the natural beauty outside from the comfort of inside on days when the weather wasn’t great and lounge on the comfortable chairs in the deck when the weather was great. We had some issues with the internet the first couple of days after arriving but Vacasa stayed on the problem and contacted us frequently with updates before resolving the issue through the internet provider.
