The house was very comfortable and conveniently located to downtown. We were able to walk and take short drives to see some of the local sites.
Perfect spot! Bed very comfortable!
While near busy streets, this location is great for walk ability within Woodstock.
This house was perfect for our party: 5 adults and 3 kids. It was perfectly situated near the green and walking distance to almost everything we did. The kitchen, bath, and linens were well stocked and we were very pleased with the easy check in /check out process. The house itself is so charming with lots of natural light and was very spacious. We would definitely love to stay here again on our next trip to Woodstock.
Beds a little tired and a kettle would have been good
Location was perfect to walk into town and to drive to surrounding spots
On the far end of the town green - easy walking to all downtown. Our kids loved the basement family room and being able to separate adults/kids was helpful. Pretty clean house - kitchen clean, nicely stocked with dishes, cups and silverware. Could have used a few more pot options. Three full bathrooms - fantastic! Hardly any towels (had to do a wash mid week) AND they were tiny! The house needs real bath towels/sheets. Comfortable sleeping - we brought (and needed) extra fans. House could use some maintenance TLC but this was largely cosmetic. We would stay there again. Enjoy.
We currently use the standard towels available by our linen service and apologize if they were not to this guest's liking. There is a ceiling fan in each bedroom and also two floor fans available for guest use. We are working with the owner on some of the TLC cosmetic items. Thanks for the feedback!
This adorable house is recently renovated but still has a Vermont charm. The beds were very comfortable and the tv room was lovely. We walked to a restaurant and to get ice cream from the house. Awesome place to stay in Woodstock!
Beautiful house, nice decoration, very relaxing, extremly well located with a walking distance of stores and restaurant.
Don't rent this house, dirty and broken furniture, house wasn't updated for safe living. (Fire alarms went off nonstop at 6am). Bed room had feces.
We are disappointed to read this review and wish this guest had reached out for assistance during their stay. The fire alarm batteries have all recently been changed, and we have bleach washed the couch covers to remove a few dirty spots we found. We have not noticed any signs of mice in the house, but we will keep an eye out. Thanks!
Please do a deep cleaning and maintenance inspection. If completed, I will return often.
Nice linen and towels. Large home with lots of room.
We have a deep clean scheduled and a lot of maintenance set to be done after the snowy season. We look forward to this guest's return!
Everything was great, hope to stay again.
Beautiful home, amazing location! Everything we needed and more. I would definitely go back.
We had an amazing stay at this house! A group of 6 of us were in town for a wedding at the Woodstock Inn and this house was the perfect spot. Plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable. Would highly recommend!
This house is right at the top of the green in town - super central location. It's built in the early 1800s, I believe, so the structure is cute and charming. That said, all the amenities are upgraded, and we had everything we needed (iron, dishwasher, etc). There are also a lot of bathrooms in this house, which came in handy traveling with two other couples. The front porch made for a nice afternoon perch to wait for friends to come in town!
Stayed here for wedding with a group of friends. It was a perfect location to walk to wedding events at the Woodstock Historical Center and country club, as well as downtown stores and restaurants. The house was clean and comfortable and easily fit 7-8 adults. Management was quick to respond to questions. Overall a great stay!
We loved the house! Tastefully decorated, simple and clean. Just a short walk to downtown Woodstock which was awesome. We have adult kids and they loved being able to walk downtown. Everything about the house is charming. Same for Woodstock in general. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Great house and location.
Location on the green is amazing. Walked to restaurants, toy stores, Rockefeller and billings houses. House itself is very well equipped and the perfect size for a family of four. Loved sitting on the front porch with view of mount tom, town hall, and the green.
House was very roomy, cozy and had all of the amenities. Was great having tea on the front porch every morning, walking downtown, and eating the great local foods. Kitchen had everything we needed to reheat and cook food from the local farmer's market and butcher. Great all-around stay!
Awesome experience all around!
Beautiful short walk into town, very convenient.
There were 4 adults and one 2 1/2 yo. House was just right for our family. Well appointed kitchen and toiletries although I would have appreciated a hair dryer. The location was perfect...walking distance to school playground, shops and restaurants. Absolutely loved the church bells. Needs a little maintenance. I'd stay here again.
The photos really don't do justice to this house - it was so comfortable, well laid out and walking distance to everywhere. We were in Vermont for the skiing and the 30 minute ride to Killington was quick and easy. We'll definitely be back.
We had a lovely time at this house, it was just what we were looking for. If you want a convenient launching spot for your Vermont adventure, check this place out.
We can't wait to book the property next year!
This was a great base for our family ski trip. Lovely light and bright house and everything we needed. Good central location.
Nice place, enjoyed our stay. They used space heaters to compensate for the frozen pipes and the no heat on the main floor.
If you rented 32 from the prior owners, you know what special home and location it was. Well be assured that nothing has changed, it was like retuning to a time capsule, same furnishings and ambience. Some minor wear and tear issues and could do with a TV/DVD update( so you can watch White Christmas on Netflix during a snow storm) .
If new to the property the photos are accurate and booking through VACASA was a breeze. We plan to return.
A bunch of friends and I stayed here for 3 nights to go skiing in Vermont. We had a great time in a perfect location. Terrifically priced and only 30 min from the mountains. Having essentials like towels and sheets provided was a huge bonus. Would recommend.
Great place, great location, had an amazing time! We loved the house.
