Luxurious cabin on the Metolius River w/ fireplace, cable & free WiFi

Recharge and relax in the forested wilderness of Central Oregon without sacrificing comfort or convenience. This luxury Camp Sherman retreat, which features free WiFi, a fireplace, and beautiful views of the river, is perfect for a small family or a few friends.

One of 11 cabins in the Metolius River Resort, this vacation rental is just a few hundred feet from the Camp Sherman general store. The river itself is mere steps away, and the city of Sisters is 15 miles to the south.

The interior of this cabin is bright and spacious, with upscale touches and a welcoming atmosphere. In the kitchen, ample counter space and modern appliances make it easy to put together a delicious home-cooked meal for your group.

Grab a seat at one of the two stools at the breakfast bar, or sit down to eat as a group at the large dining room table. When you're finished, let the dishwasher take care of clean-up.

The living room features a comfortable couch and two armchairs, which surround an impressive fireplace that stretches to the ceiling. On cold nights, luxuriate in the warmth of a fire while you browse the cable channels on the flatscreen TV, or curl up with a good book.

From the living room, French doors lead out to the back deck. Lounge in the Adirondack chairs with a glass of wine while you watch the river rush past. There's also a charcoal grill, if your group includes any barbecue enthusiasts.

When it's time to turn in for the night, this one-bedroom-plus-loft cabin can comfortably sleep up to four guests. You'll find the bedroom on the main floor - it features a king-size bed and a cozy window seat, perfect for relaxing. Upstairs in the loft, there is a second queen bed.

Awake feeling refreshed and start your day with a leisurely brunch before heading out to explore the area. The Metolius River is famous for its fly fishing, so eager anglers should be sure to dedicate a few hours to testing their skills in the cold waters. There are also plenty of hiking trails nearby, including a portion of the Pacific Crest Trail.

If you're visiting during the winter, check out Hoodoo Ski Area for downhill skiing and snowboarding. There's also a tubing park and plenty of trails for Nordic skiing. And if you need a day off, head to the charming town of Sisters for boutique stores, tasty local restaurants, and art galleries.

Don't miss out on this gorgeous Camp Sherman cabin. Make your reservation today!

Future visitors with babies may want to bring a baby gate. Stairs are really steep.

Accommodations were wonderful! Loved being able to watch the river from the comfort of the cottage. It was a much better view than anticipated. Would highly recommend this jewel!

Actually, no -- except the cabin was decorated in a fly fishing scheme that was charmingly well done. The cabin, built in 1990, was fresh, up-to-date, and well-maintained inside and out. Great views from windows and large deck across the lawn to the beautiful Metolius River. A few minutes walk across the bridge to the Metolius River Store and 15 mile drive through beautiful pine forests to Sisters. Great hiking trails along the banks of the Metolius not open to horses, bikes, and motorized vehicles. The Hola restaurant adjacent to the Resort was a pleasant, delicious surprise in having well-prepared standard Mexican choices but also unique Peruvian dishes. Quiet, peaceful, and highly recommended for a relaxing stay!
