Best aspects: 1) woodsy setting - shady, feels "in the trees" 2) large and pleasant back deck, fantastic for evening relaxing and barbecuing, 3) pet friendly and overall a comfortable easy-going place, 4) nice queen-sized beds, 5) handy setup that allows opening most windows while they remain screened. The living room was comfy. I felt this was a comfortable vacation home for nice relaxation. Some others in our large family reunion booked bigger fancier places, which were nice yet maybe not as "easy vacation" comfortable. My family member with a dog did not join us. The place was clean but the carpet showed some evidence of pet use (no biggie for us). We experience some relatively minor maintenance issues.

Incredible location near Paulina Springs and Aspen Lake, comfortable space for 4 adults and 4 young children, amazing windows and window seat looking out at nothing but trees. Our 6-year-old said it was “the best vacation I’ve ever been on,” and our 2-year-old said “I want to stay in this house forever!” Such a wonderful stay. Thank you!

Loved the beds, so comfy. Open, cozy living area. Nice big dining table

Meadow's Edge is in the perfect location. Very easy to navigate to, but tucked away for privacy. We had a terrific time there. Thank you!

Just we don’t have firewood and the microwave is dead but little details; that I hope for the next family have be resolved because is import; but this minor details can affect our good experience there. I hope return in summer ❤️❤️

I really enjoyed this black butte ranch cabin. Nice location, great fire place, and comfortable beds. The only minor issue was I arrived after dark and it was raining hard. There was no exterior lighting at all so I could not see there was even a house down the driveway. It took me a few passes to rind it. I would definitely recommend this cabin and will stay there again for sure.
Manager response:
Christopher, thank you for your review. We are happy to hear you enjoyed this home. We apologize for the difficulties you had during the check-in process and appreciate your feedback. We hope to host you again soon!

Nice, clean family and pet friendly home. Close proximity to Glaze Meadow. Our favorite part was the large deck with plenty of seating.

We were there during record breaking heat. The cabin is not air conditioned plus there are no shades except in the bedrooms. The large front windows and glass doors let in the sun. So it was up to 90 at times There was a fan in each bedroom but only one in the main space. The screen door on the sliding glass door was bent and would not close all the way. One night we were overwhelmed with swarming bugs. The cabin was charming and a good fit for our needs other than the heat. The rug does need a good shampoo though. Fully stocked kitchen .
Manager response:
Hi, Susan! Bugs are an issue in the area when there are higher temperatures; we learn to live with it and apologize if it caused you any distress. Housekeeping will take care of the rug and windows. Thank you!

This place was great for a winter get away. We went to be closer to Hoodoo ski resort for a couple of days. The cabin had everything we needed. The only complaint is the lock on the front door tends to stick and was hard to lock from the inside.

very clean, well equipped with everything you need. Good location. And cute interior

Home was perfect for our family of 5 and dog. Great location on the resort, and all the amenities.
We did experience a rather nasty splinter on the deck, so would advise shoes anytime you are out there as the wood is quite weathered.
Manager response:
Hello, Kerri! Thank you for your review, and for bringing your concerns with the deck to our attention. We will be in contact with our local staff to have this addressed. We are thrilled to hear that overall your visit was enjoyable, and hope for another opportunity to host you again in the future!

The Cabin is very comfortable and is in a great spot on the ranch. The Ranch seems to be doing a reasonable job with Covid prevention as well.

Meadow’s Edge cabin was a great place to stay with our family. We had plenty of room - inside and outside - and the pup enjoyed it as well.

This a great house for a quiet getaway. It’s located in the center of the resort, so you can bike to the pools easily. There’s a small pool close to the house. Kitchen is adequately stocked to cook nice meals. Our only complaint was that they do not have a washing machine and most importantly a dryer to dry out towels. We had a wet towel issue. Typically I’d expect to see a washer dryer in a home rental. Other than that, it was great!!
Manager response:
We appreciate your feedback, Tiffany! We are pleased to hear that you enjoyed your stay, and the amenities the home has to offer. Our apologies for any confusion, as this unit includes a washer and dryer for guests use. Please know that local staff is available to assist if you have any questions regarding the home’s amenities. We truly look forward to hosting your stay!

This cabin has a really nice floorplan. Very comfortable beds and in a quiet area off the main streets. Everything was clean and in working condition including the appliances and BBQ, with a full tank of propane. The living area is big enough and the large deck and windows looking out into the forest add to the open feeling of the cabin. We would definitely stay again.

Comfortable house. Clean and Nice. Welcoming for A dog. Lacking a touch of light in living room, WiFi would not stay on. Loved the window bench to look outside. Probably will book this house again!
Kimberley B. Mar 2020
Nicely and thoughtfully furnished; welcoming for dogs and their people!
