Everything was exactly as pictured and as described. We had a wonderful time and it was a great amount of space with kiddos. The views were beautiful and the fireplace was perfect for chilly nights. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to make cooking easier.
We are already planning on when we want to go back again! We spend every thanksgiving on the coast and this was the first place we said we would totally stay again for holiday family getaway.

Loved the house. It was clean and perfect for the weekend. Loved driving through the forest and how secluded it was. We could still see the ocean, but were surrounded by trees. I would definitely book this place again!

I hate to say it, keep searching! -NO a/c, the beautiful doors (as pictured) on the wraparound porch are not allowed to be opened. They are secured/sealed shut. -There are no ceiling fans in the bedrooms so… even though the weather was only in the 60’s at night, it was not comfortable to sleep. At all. -The alarm (we were told to disengage upon arrival) had no markings left on buttons and we couldn’t arm or disarm anything as instructed. We tried calling for help to prevent police arrival and no one called back until close to 11pm. No police came- the “alarm” may or may not be just a listening device. I am unsure. Seemed like it. No cell service here, so we also didn’t get the return call until next day. -No wine key in kitchen and cooking items are dated and dirty. The house looked so beautiful pulling in and we loved the wooded beach area, we were very excited and then very disappointed. The windows needing to be left open to attempt to get a little breeze just didn’t feel safe, so our son could not sleep downstairs and had to sleep on upstairs couch. Wi-fi was on and off. No cable/roku/smart TV. No fire pit. One chair on deck. There is more, but you get the idea. Everything is dated and lacking in some way. Sorry. Wish it was different.

The alarm system has been removed from the property to prevent future issues. We will add a note to our unit description about the lack of cell reception at this location for future guests. We will also add fans to aid in guest comfort. The homeowners are purchasing new items for the kitchen and will have the internet connection reviewed by a technician soon. This is a fantastic place to stay. We had a great time and really enjoyed the location. The beach was not busy at all and the close proximity made it so we could listen to the waves all day and night.

This was the cleanest vacation rentals we've experienced. Communication was on the minimal side, but completely met our needs. There is a lot of space in this house, and the number of bathrooms is so convenient for a group. Everything worked well. The living room gets really warm when it is sunny! The beds were comfortable and all had mattress toppers. The front door code worked perfectly, although it would have been much more convenient to have a doorknob along with the code entry pad. The view is nice, you can definitely watch the stars, quite a bit of the skyline, and even a few ships going by. The tv is a bit on the older side, but we didn't want to watch much anyway, and it did work. You will need to drive to get to any stores or restaurants, which also means it is more quiet and remote. Check out protocol was easy, though a tad early. Thank you for a lovely vacation experience!

Spacious, clean home with a great view. You can hear the ocean from the deck. However, there are these lovely patio doors that you are not allowed to open. You can't let in the ocean breeze, and you have to use a side door to use the deck. It's a huge deck, but has only one deck chair, and no chairs around the fire pit. The deck does have a table and benches. Our coffee maker did not have a carafe, so we couldn't make coffee. Also, you're not allowed to have more than five people in the house, even though there is plenty of room.

There is a ton to love about this space, from the layout, comfortable beds, secluded location, and, of course, the spectacular view. The only drawbacks for us were the lack of comfortable deck furniture (there is only a picnic table, which seems like such a shame as we would have loved to spend more time enjoying the house's best feature) and the checkout (10am)/check-in (4pm) times, which seemed a bit more strict than other places we have stayed (even during COVID). Overall, a great find if you are looking for seclusion and beautiful sunsets.

This house exceeded every expectation we could have possibly had. It was the perfect place to get away. The home itself is gorgeous, with a surrounding landscape that will take your breath away - it is incredibly well maintained. This rental is even more special because it allowed our long-awaited marriage to come together during a time where our plans were ever uncertain and always changing. We eloped on the quiet, private beach and spent a dreamy evening gazing out at the view on the deck with a home cooked meal. It was a great reunion with family and a wonderful setting - we love being away from the hustle and bustle and enjoyed the beauty of nature and the quiet beach. We loved the location of this property. The sound of the ocean waves coupled with the surrounding trees made the house an ideal getaway. The big windows in the living and dining rooms allowed great views of nature.
The room where the sofa bed is located is not a legal bedroom since it doesn't have a closet, although the property manager confirmed otherwise in advance. Our primary disappointments with the house were the downstairs beds and worn linens. The sofa bed itself is very old and the mattress warped towards the center. Our daughter was unable to sleep on it. The other bed was way too firm. Most of the fitted sheets were worn and balling. The alarm disabling instruction was very vague and confusing.
Other than what is noted, we really liked the house.

The house was great!, Bedrooms a plenty, good view. Could hear the ocean--a must!! Location is great, central to Cannon and Manzanita and Falcon Cove so easy to get to walkable beaches and shopping. Beach access existed down the road, beautiful but rocky. Kitchen had plenty of dishes, cutlery, etc. Downsides-- usually there is at least salt and pepper and a few little condiments. Instructions for locking could have been clearer.

We liked the location, so close to Manzanita and Cannon Beach. The home is open with lots of windows providing a nice view of the ocean and surrounding forest. Enjoyed the garage for our car and the neighborhood for peaceful walks.
