Recent Keaau vacation rental reviews

We love everything about Mele Kai! The whole home evokes tropical vibes. The location is stunning, greeting the sunrise over the ocean from the lanai is such magic! Speaking of, when you open the sliding doors & step out the 180° view is extremely private. Just you, the tropical plants, birds, coqui & ocean. The home itself is very clean & comfortable. Beds are cozy, kitchen is stocked with all the tools needed, plenty of towels. Location is ideal for adventure. So much to explore on this side of the big island. We’ve stayed @ Mele Kai before & hope to every time we visit. The only negative is we like to split our time & stay on the other side of the island for part of our vacation & we always feel let down by other rentals (none hold a candle to Mele Lai!) Until next time…mahalo 🌺

Our family had a great stay here. The house was simple yet big enough for everyone to have a great time. The location was great to experience everything on the east side of the island. We would definitely book again!

We had 2 adults snd 2 teenagers. The house was absolutely wonderful. We spent every evening on the wrap around porch. Loved our visit to Volcano National park, waterfalls, and the hike off of Beach Rd. to Shipman Beach. The house was well equipped and we were able to grocery shop close by. Would stay again if we ever visit Hilo in the future.
