The property was lovely. Some updates would be good as the oven didn't work but who wants to bake when you can barbecue outside. Loved our time here.
Manager response:
Teri, thank you for your feedback! We are thrilled you enjoyed your stay. We are very sorry for the inconvenience related to the oven. Our local staff is working on getting it repaired as quickly as possible. We hope we may have the opportunity to host you again in the future!

It is everything that you see in pictures. It is worth noting the driveway is long with uneven terrain (lava rocks). Other than that is an oasis of comfort with the island feel.

Even though this house is in a neighborhood, it feels secluded because of all the trees and vegetation. It is a short drive to most attractions or restaurants. It's just big enough for two couples or a family of four. We spent the majority of time at the table on the porch listening to all the animal sounds. The only negative was the oven didn't work. We went to make dinner one night and couldn't get it to work. I emailed Vacasa about it with no response.
Manager response:
Hi Regina! Thank you for taking the time to leave us this feedback! We apologize for the lack of response during your stay with us. Please know that this isn't our typical standard and we are working on hiring and training more agents so that we can assist guests in a more timely manner. Since your stay with us, we have had the oven looked at and repaired for future guests to enjoy. We do, again, apologize that this detail was missed prior to your check-in. We do hope that you'll consider us again in the future to host you for a truly relaxing getaway!

This unique home offers such privacy and great amenities. Close to different restaurants and shopping, as well as quick access to many island hit spots. From the coqui frogs chirping at night to walking the grounds to find naturally growing fruits, this home is filled with Aloha.

We will definitely book again for our next stay on the Big Island!

Loved this home. Perfect for a relaxing vacation on the Hilo side of the big island. House is fully stocked and loved the fact that we had a kitchen to prepare healthy meals with the local foods. Beds are on the firm side. In house laundry was perfect to avoid packing dirty clothes. Grounds of home were green and lush.

I liked Serenity of location in a small jungle ; cleanliness,
Pleasant decorations and nice modern kitchen and furniture ; would prefer that air conditioning was turned on when I arrived ; it was 122 F on my arrival ; would be better if driveway was not as bumpy ; would appreciate light blocking curtains on the bedrooms Windows’s so I could sleep well past sunrise
Manager response:
Andrew, We are so glad you enjoyed the Olena! We apologize the AC was not turned on and the home cooled down prior to your arrival. Thank you for all the suggestions regarding the home’s accommodations and features. Following your feedback, the homeowner has added black-out curtains in the bedroom for the improved sleep comfort of our guests. We look forward to hosting you again. Thank you!

It’s a very private comfortable home with A/C a modern cute kitchen with everything you will need. Cable TV, jetted jacuzzi tub with bubble bath for your convenience. You are close to everything but feel like your in your own private forest surrounded by fruit trees and awesome bbq grill with bench out front. Tiki torches to light your way and both bedrooms are so comfortable with nice cold A/C that keeps the whole house cool on those hot summer days. It’s romantic with such a peaceful quiet space I can’t say enough great things about this home. Did I mention the hammock out front that’s great for reading a book and chilling on your covered porch area. Our favorite home in keaau can’t wait to go back there again. I highly recommend staying at this home book as soon as possible it’s getting to be very popular so don’t second guess it when you return to book it someone else may have already scooped it up.
