It was very secluded with so much beauty around us. We loved it and will be back!

We truly had a relaxing, no hassle, stay. Charming location and friendly locals. Near Cape Coral, Sanibel, Captiva beaches which are beautiful for swimming.. This coast is great for boating, fishing and kayaking boarding, sunbathing, but not so much for swimming, snorkeling,, shelling as other Florida coastal white sandy beaches.. The Sea unit is adorable: however, door is about to come off hinges and very hard to open/close making it hard for my kids to manage w/out our help. Can imagine the up+down of that!! Cut-through access to reach water could use a little upkeep and cut back to make it easier to access. The view from deck above is just awesome, but being able to enjoy the view as well from the lawn down below would equally be nice if not obstructed by overgrown shrub unlike nearby properties, which afford a clearer and comparable view of the water. Indoor could use some TLC when comes to shower mold in few places at tile/caulk joints and a bit dusty around furnishings and windows. Beds are comfy and place stocked w/kitchen ware, family games, books blankets, etc. Our fave was hooks for indoor hammock, which we thoroughly enjoyed while looking out windows and the view!! Coming from a property owner/landlord myself, I am familiar w/reviews and welcome input and suggestions for improvement always. Would definitely recommend as it feels like your own, private, pink -purple island!!

We stayed here for 2 weeks and loved every second of it. The view is even more amazing in person. We had fun swimming, fishing, and kayaking. We will definitely be back!

The beautiful view of the Gulf of Mexico, and wide variety of wildlife that can be seen from inside the house and on the porch.

The views of this home showcase the beauty of the water, birds dashing and delighting, and palm trees framing it all. We enjoyed swimming in the shallow water, soaking up the sunshine, and the simplicity of the home. The internet leaves much to be desired, but we were there to soak up nature and it was a great spot for that. The shared deck may be tight if you don't know your neighbors, but we lucked out with a great neighbor and enjoyed the better view from the deck vs the yard. The beds were comfy, the space worked for our small family, and we made some special memories here.

This retro cabin is affordable with a luxury view! We loved sitting back and relaxing watching the water and listening to the sea birds and bay breezes. The cabin is styled in a mid century vibe. Pros: view, location, all the beautiful wood, affordable, comfy bed, full kitchen. When we stayed we lucked out with no one staying in the adjacent cabin. If someone was staying in that one, depending on how loud or quiet they are would potentially affect your stay. Other than that the wifi tends to get spotty at night for some reason. But overall a great little gem. We would book this again. Within an hour is Lovers Key, an amazing beach, Babcock ranch eco tours and jn ding darling national wildlife refuge. That's what we did and had a blast. Blue Dog grill in Matlacha was awesome. There are activities closer by but that's what we did!

The house was awesome, the decor, the homey feel and the views were just what we needed! The only problem we had was the front door, it seemed time and weather had taken its toll. Sometimes the locks wouldn't unlock and the door was warped pretty bad. Other than that watching the wildlife while drinking my coffee in the morning and watching the sunset at night was priceless! Really enjoyed.
Manager response:
Hi, Jonathan! Thank you for taking the time to tell us about your Vacasa experience. We are so glad you enjoyed your accommodations. We did check the door and found everything working correctly at the time, but we will keep an eye on it. We hope to see you again!

We absolutely loved our stay at this home. It is exactly as described and so comfortable. The beds slept well and it was so nicely equipped with anything you could need. We loved opening the windows - which surround the living area - and reading a book while enjoying the ocean breeze. We will absolutely return!

We were so busy playing board games, freeze tag, cracking coconuts and seeing the wild life; never even turned the TV during our stay. Lots of appliances, clean towels and fun cups. My kids loved picking out a new cup to drink out of.

We were happy to see that the pictures were exactly how the place looked. It is not your typical Florida decor with all the beautiful wood. The view alone was exceptional. Very impressed with the kitchen with all kinds of glassware/dishes/ utensils and cooking ware. The beds were comfortable with plenty of pillows and towels galore. It felt very private and walking distance to the public dock for fishing. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay!
