Whim-Sea will suit you to a T. For beach lovers, enjoy direct beach access from your private pool. You can also relax on the spacious wraparound deck and enjoy beautiful ocean and sound views. WiFi is available throughout the house. Recent renovations include new carpet, upgraded appliances, quartz kitchen counters, tv/entertainment center and a new, poolside tiki bar!
Ground Level: Has a room with Duobunk and Trundle and a Bunk set, rec room with queen sofa bed, wet bar, refrigerator, stereo with cd, 47 in. TV/DVD and full bath. The laundry is also on this level.
Mid Level: Offers a sitting area with bumper pool/game table. A room with 2 Singles and a bedroom share a bath. There is also a King main bedroom with private deck on this level.
Top Level: Features a well-equipped kitchen and great room with gas fireplace, entertainment center with surround sound and outdoor speakers plus a King main bedroom with whirlpool, all with great views of the ocean! A powder room rounds out this level.

We are a group of women who come to write to prompts, twice a year in the off-season. Whim-Sea is spacious and well-appointed, with a lovely large dining table to suit our needs. So many fun characters have been created there!

Whim-Sea is conveniently located to the beach by a private boardwalk. It is well equipped and we had all the cooking utensils; etc we needed. The house, however, does need some TLC. At first glance it appeared to be clean but it was not. The dining room chairs and sofa were covered with potato chip crumbs and there were cob webs hanging from the dining room light and throughout the house. The cleaning service obviously apparently does not dust because all surfaces were quite dusty. We definitely would stay at this house again.

This house was the perfect spot for a great week on the Outer Banks. It is wonderfully located near the ocean on Pine Island. Beautiful home, with a very nice pool in the back yard. You can see the ocean from the third floor deck. The beach is easily accessible, as are shopping and restaurants. We look forward to booking this house again soon.

We had a lovely week at Whim Sea. Family group of 12. Plenty of space for all. The house met all of our needs with well appointed kitchen, games, beach gear, etc. Comfortable new mattresses. The only amenity that we would have enjoyed that we didn’t find was an Umbrella for the pool area, but it was nicely shaded in the afternoon. The area around the pool has a beautifully planted grove of trees which made the area feel very private. 10/10 home perfect to host multiple families. Child friendly arrangements. Very short walk to beach on a boardwalk. Would love to return even in the off season.

We loved the location and easy access to the beach. Everyone enjoyed the pool. There was plenty of room for our group of 15 to spread out but also to get together and play games and eat. We think it’s the perfect beach house and would love to stay there the next time we come to the Outer Banks!

Whim-sea has everything you want in a home by the sea -- and the sea is right there! Morning sunrises over the ocean, evening sunsets over the sound, and a comfy place to enjoy the rest of the day or from which to explore the charming towns of Duck or Corolla or to meet The Ponies. This was a perfect house for our family of 6 (could definitely have more!). We have rented in OBX for years and this was everyone's favorite! The interior was just beautiful and well maintained and it was a beautiful neighborhood. Since we went in December, we did not use the pool - - but looked nice!

I was really happy overall with my stay, the house was a great size and very well kept! My only concern was drainage issues in a couple of the showers, an issue with one of the toilets not flushing properly all the time and (at no fault to the homeowners or property management) a lot of spiders.

We have rented this house for 5 years and will be renting it again in 2022. We really like the house and the location so close to the beach. It really needs a cleaning outside to remove the cobwebs from the decks, furniture, and doors.

Plenty of room for both families. Much closer to the beach than I thought which was amazing. Close to everything yet secluded. My perfect spot! House was clean and very well decorated. Only complaint is the pool maintenance was not good. We called for a mid week cleaning because the 3 days of rain filled the bottom with sand and no one showed. But we know this is Not an issue with the home itself, but the management company lacked here.

The house is perfectly located in Corolla and easy access to the beach. The private pool wasn't open for the season, but I imagine it's invaluable during the summer. The house is bright, spacious and clean. Highly recommend!
