We had a great time at the cabin in Woodruff. It was beautiful! Very spacious. The kitchen well stocked with all the cook-wear and dishes. The steps down to the dock are steep. Definitely a good workout! The Little Arbor Vitae lake is quiet and beautiful. We had a wonderful trip!

This is the first time the pictures did not fully show the beauty of the property. This home was so clean upon arrival and had all the decor of a beautiful cabin. The bunk beds are twice the size of a traditional bunk, and the kids just loved sleeping on them. The rooms were all comfortable and the view was incredible. The only thing to know is that the stairs to get to the lake are steep and long. If you have anyone with you who has a difficult time with stairs, this would not be the home for you. I look forward to future stays at this peoperty!

We loved staying at this lakeside home. It is beautiful and spacious, the pictures don't do it justice.

A great house with tons of top notch amenities. Sunrise views over the lake were picture perfect. A great location for snowmobiling with lots of nearby trails.

We really enjoyed the Lakeside Lookout. Everything was perfect! Beautiful home in a great location for us. We went ice fishing and snowmobiling. We’d love to visit in the Summer next time.

The cabin is set up perfectly for a large family! Great view overlooking the lake, super quiet yet only 10-15 drive into town. Everything was super clean and well stocked. The dry sauna was the bonus since the weather was cold. Just bring your food & drink, nothing else needed! We absolutely recommend staying here!

We had a great experience with this house, we were impressed about the high end quality appliances, furniture and interior details. The million dollar view and the quiet surrounding made our experience even better. For sure I will save this house in my favorites.

Amazing stay - don't hesitate to visit. We were lucky enough to be the first guests to stay in this new lakeside home in November, so everything was immaculately clean and new and we would definitely return to this spot! This location was calm, quiet, serene and so peaceful. This home delivered on our desire for a quiet, isolated escape from the city to be closer to nature. Upon our arrival, our first glimpse of the lake also included a fly-by from a Bald Eagle, who nests nearby. We saw the Bald Eagle like clockwork at 8am and 4pm daily, sometimes with its juveniles. It was also fun waking up every day to investigate all the new tracks in the snow around the property, and there is also a little beaver family living down the street in the lake.

We chose this place for the beautiful chef quality kitchen and it did not disappoint: it was well stocked equipped and we enjoyed cooking every meal from scratch in it, and were even surprised that they had thought to stock crockpots, blenders and such a great variety of cookware. The sauna was a lovely treat - we also enjoyed going back and forth from the cold winter air on the walk-out porch to the sauna. When looking to spend time inside, the living areas were very spacious and comfortable and the smart TV allowed us to easily cast to it to play music or sign in to our streaming accounts and catch up on The Crown :-)

We also enjoyed watching the lake freeze over day by day, and in the height of winter I am sure ice fishing and snowmobile trails would be great fun. Also lots of opportunity for snowshoeing and cross-country skiing. I would definitely return in the summer to be able to enjoy some kayaking and fishing on the lake as well!

This area also has so many excellent hiking paths and trails nearby - we went on a hike nearly every day we were there, at most past a half dozen of other people on trails at a good distance. It was such a treat to be able to spend so much time outdoors in a safe and free way. This northwoods area is also beautiful year round, even after the leaves have dropped you have evergreens, birch, moss and mushrooms growing, and winter birds like the blue jays and woodpeckers abound. Pro-tip: One thing we regret forgetting to bring was our binoculars.

Due to the pandemic, we didn't explore any local businesses and instead brought everything with us so we didn't need to shop locally and could stay isolated, but in normal times just by driving around there seemed to be a nice mix of unique businesses that we usually would have wanted to explore further. This area was that it was quiet, isolated and nestled away, but still close to everything that Minocqua has to offer, that I am sure we would have found everything we needed.
Manager response:
