Natural beauty & modern comforts abound right near Glacier National Park!

You owe yourself, your family, and your friends all the stunning natural wonders of a Montana vacation without any of the drawbacks - and that's just what this Glacier Chalet has to offer! Plenty of modern conveniences, along with mountain views and several nearby attractions, make this a vacation rental to keep your eye on.

This getaway for eight is set on 10 acres of private property, with looming mountain views to admire from the wraparound deck and sparse woods nearby to explore on foot. The western entrance to Glacier National Park - and with it, outdoor activities and dining - is just a mile to the east! While you’re staying at the chalet, you can take a quick walk to the West Glacier Nordic ski track, with more than 5k of groomed ski trail for skate and classic skiers to enjoy while surrounded by views of Glacier National Park.

Soft white and brown colors let the great outdoors do most of the lifting, with wide window views strewn throughout the house. You can enjoy the resulting open atmosphere right from the first-floor living room, with cushy leather furnishings and the outdoors just a few steps away. Sit back, relax, and take in some entertainment, ranging from satellite programming on the flatscreen to the WiFi throughout the house.

Restaurants aren't too far from home, but there's no beating a delicious home-cooked meal with the people that matter most. The kitchen lies upstairs, with stainless steel appliances, granite countertops, and dark wooden cabinetry. There's a nearby table for eight, with more seats on the wraparound deck by the grill. Don't worry about cleaning up - the kitchen features a dishwasher.

Eight guests can stay in this home's three bedrooms. Two of the rooms boast generous queen-size beds and pleasant window views, with the last bedroom's full-size bed and a roomy sofabed providing more sleeping options. All three bedrooms share a spacious bathroom, with a walk-in glass shower featuring mosaic tiles. There's even a laundry room with a private washer and dryer!

You're just one mile away from the western entrance to the gorgeous Glacier National Park, which itself has plenty of exciting activities. Guided hikes, exciting whitewater rafting, and even horseback rides are all available just a few minutes to the east. Don't worry if you're visiting in the winter - Whitefish Mountain Resort's pristine slopes are just 31 miles to the west. Be sure to admire the beauty of Lake Whitefish on the way back!

The good: great location near West entrance of Glacier National Park. House has nice appliances and looks new, with a nice view of mountains.
The bad: bedrooms are small, only a bed and closet and no room for anything else. Only one bathroom, none downstairs where two of the bedrooms are. Only found kids and ad channels on the TV, internet was slow.
The rest: The house had no character, nothing on the walls. Location is the big draw here.

We loved his house for our family of four. It was ideally located near West Glacier and had everything we needed for the week.

I really enjoyed the week at the house. No problems with any thing. I would definitely rent it again. The only thing that was not perfect was the window shad a 5th the kitchen sink very hard to use.

We booked this place because we wanted a kitchen for the 2 of us since we were there a week. The place is nice with a modern look. The rooms barely fit more than a bed but that's all you need in there. Please note: there is NO grass lawn like it shows in the pictures. It is overgrown brambles. This was disappointing to us as we wanted to play yard games that we brought. There was also no hair dryer, a light was out in the bathroom vanity and the downstairs sliding door shade was stuck covering the window/door. The washer and dryer sure were new though, very space age. I would probably stay here again due to the very close proximity of the park entrance. Also, I would know what to expect and adjust accordingly. Nothing was a deal breaker, just more of a letdown.
Manager response:
We appreciate receiving this review and apologize for any letdowns this guest experienced. The property was checked before guest arrival with no light out, but these things happen in the blink of an eye. The hair dryer will be replaced. The broken blind was from the prior guest and takes a specialist to replace. We are currently working on fixing this situation. The yard was due to a miscommunication between the previous property manager and the homeowner. Our team will make sure to have landscaping setup for next summer.

Spacious and well-appointed, although seemingly hastily designed and constructed. Elegant and modern materials used throughout. Great location, good value. Two smaller bedrooms downstairs, larger bedroom and bathroom upstairs.

Perfect location for family vacation to Glacier NP. Easy access to national park and surrounding businesses. Clean , well equipped , plenty of space for 5 adults.

We loved the close proximity to the park entrance and the ability to have roomy accommodations for our grown family ("children" ages 23, 21 and 18). Our family enjoyed the deck overlooking the mountains and the plethora of activities right at our immediate disposal (hiking, rafting, kayaking, canoeing, etc.) The chalet was very clean and the kitchen was well stocked.
