Three-level mountainview home with gourmet kitchen and game room on five acres

Host your next holiday gathering at this beautiful, three-level Montana home on five acres with incredible views of the Swan Mountain Range and neighboring fields occupied by grazing herds of elk.

Conveniently close to Whitefish and Kalispell, this home is secluded, but centrally located for easy access to wilderness adventures and small town fun. Bring your camera and take the 23-mile trip into Glacier National Park with its spectacular vistas, 130 named lakes, two mountain ranges, and incredible wildlife including large mammals like grizzly bears, moose, and mountain goats. And when the snow is falling, pack your skis or your snowboards and head 25 miles north to Whitefish Mountain Resort and its 93 runs of varying difficulty.

Instantly inviting and elegant throughout, this retreat backs up to a breathtaking view of the mountains visible from many of its windows. With hardwood floors, earth tones, and gorgeous cabinets and other features, this home will take your breath away.

Kick back and relax in one of three comfortable seating areas. The bright and airy primary living space has a stone-faced fireplace and plenty of plush furniture, the cozy family room has a large sectional sofa and two armchairs, and the quiet TV room has an additional sofa.

Around the corner from the main living room, there's a spacious dining room with a large table and six chairs, ideal for game nights, day-planning, or enjoying home-cooked meals lovingly prepared in the nearby, full, gourmet kitchen.

The fabulous, wraparound kitchen will thrill even the most experienced chef. It features a breakfast bar with three padded stools, rich mahogany cabinets, plenty of prep space, and a host of essential utensils, cookware, and dinnerware. The kitchen also includes updated, top-of-the-line, stainless steel appliances like a double wall oven, gas stove, French door refrigerator, and dishwasher. And feel free to toss a few favorite treats on the gas grill located out on the deck.

With three-and-a-half baths and five luxurious bedrooms with cloud-soft beds and spectacular views, this home sleeps up to 13 lucky guests quite comfortably and is ideal for a large family reunion or a few couples traveling together. You'll have a king, three queens, a double, two twins, and even a sofabed.

Get online with ease thanks to the provided WiFi, rack up the balls and shoot a few friendly games of pool in the well-appointed game room, or keep up with your favorite shows and movies on one of three flatscreen TVs.

Take a short 11-mile drive into nearby Kalispell where you can shop in unique, local boutiques and visit historic sites like the Conrad Mansion (the most beautifully preserved pre-1900 mansion in Montana) and the Museum at Central School. And cap off your visits with incredible dinners at Hop's Downtown Grill, The Montana Club Restaurant, and Famous Dave's.

Exactly as shown in the pictures. Lots of space to move around. However, we spent most of our time outside and in the rooms at the ground floor because the bedrooms at the top floor were too warm. A/C would be helpful especially during warm summer days.

The house was extremely clean & very nicely decorated. Great layout for gatherings. The only drawback is the home doesn't have very good airflow & gets rather warm. I would hesitate to stay there if the weather was too warm.

The home is very nice but is several miles off the beaten path, which can be a concern during winter snowstorms. It accommodated our extended family(10 adults, 2 children) easily over the 2017 Christmas season.

This reservation definitely started a little different. A week before we checked in the property manager called us to notify us the house had been struck by lightning causing a small fire in the basement. They were very open and honest about any damage and offered to help us find a new spot if we desired. Thankfully the damage was limited to the basement and did not effect the entire house. We decided this house was too nice to find other accommodations.

Upon arrival there was a hint of smoke still in the house, but with the help of fans and opened windows it slowly got better. The house is beautifully designed and decorated. The kitchen could've used some more basic things (baking sheets and serving platters). The deck has a beautiful view, but could've used some more lounge chairs to take advantage.

Overall the house was a great spot for a visit to Glacier. Better than a lot of other options in the area. We still would recommend staying here.
