Beautifully located high in the mountains close to Alta and Snowbird's world-class ski slopes, this three-bedroom, three-and-a-half bathroom home brings an inviting, timeless style to the great outdoors of Utah. In this secluded-yet-central complex at the top of Little Cottonwood Canyon, you'll find the perfect all-seasons escape for downhill and cross-country skiing, snowshoeing, hiking, and mountain biking. The interior is quaint and cozy, offering vaulted ceilings, spacious bedrooms, large windows, and a private indoor hot tub to soothe your sore muscles at the end of the day. Step outside onto the balcony to take in a majestic view of the mountains, and end each evening by the gorgeous wood-burning fireplace playing games and watching movies with your loved ones.
You'll find this home at the top of the mountain in a quiet, high-altitude setting, yet it's also right off the bypass for the public bus system. The fantastic slopes of Alta (half a mile east) and Snowbird (one mile west) are incredibly close by, giving you a front-row seat to ski areas that attract winter sports enthusiasts from all over the world. When you're not downhill skiing, you can spend winter days snowshoeing and cross-country skiing as well. Come summertime, you'll have easy access to a number of popular hiking trails in this peaceful area, beautiful bike rides on a network of trails through flowering meadows and aspen and spruce woodlands, and scenic drives on State Highway 210 between Alta and the Salt Lake Valley. Snowbird's pedestrian village hosts a number of summer activities as well, including a tram that offers wonderful views of the area.

During the winter months, snow tires are required in the whole canyon; four-wheel drive is required as well.
Snow and wintertime conditions can create difficulties for young children and guests with mobility issues. There is a staircase that must be navigated to access this home and the high altitude can create other health-related issues.

Parking Notes: The garage can hold a single larger SUV but the width is tight. A large storage area is inside the garage, in a separate room, for bikes or skis. Extra vehicles are not Allowed. Community spaces are extremely limited, vehicles parked in not approved parking spots will be towed.
Guest Entry Instructions: This rental utilizes an E-lock, a digital lock that requires an unique code to enter. This code is reset after each guest's stay.
