High-elevation fun on and off the slopes is what you can plan for at this modern mountain condo at Solitude Mountain Resort. Along with your group of up to eight guests, you'll experience ski-in/ski-out access, a complex hot tub, as well as resort amenities at one of Utah's premier ski destinations.

Residing in the upscale Powderhorn Lodge, this condo offers unbeatable access to over 70 ski runs and other activities like horseback riding, fly fishing, hiking, mountain biking, and more. If you're looking for activities off the mountain, look no further than Club Solitude, which sits on the first floor of the building and offers a family-friendly game room, pool and foosball tables, a fitness center, a sauna, and a pool area with a hot tub. The complex also includes access to its own community hot tub.

Warm and inviting with wood and stone accents, comfortable furnishings, and modern conveniences including WiFi, DVD, and cable-equipped television, this condo is the perfect respite at the end of a long day spent in the great outdoors. There's also a storage locker for all of your winter gear, as well as an underground heated parking facility.

Come home to snuggle with a loved one by the living area's fireplace, or take a nap on the comfy sectional couch. You could also kick your feet up on the leather ottoman and flip on the wall-mounted flatscreen to enjoy an afternoon movie or TV show.

Later, soothe any aching muscles with a dip in the ground floor's heated pool and hot tub, or explore Club Solitude's plethora of amenities.

When you come home hungry, quickly and easily whip up a fresh feast using modern appliances, varied cookware, and ample granite countertops in the full kitchen. Share stories and laughs with your group at the six-seat dining table, or head onto the expansive deck for alfresco dining.

At the end of a satisfying day in the great outdoors (or just relaxing at home) get restful sleep in either of the two bedrooms. There is a king bed in one room and a king bed plus a twin bunk bed set in the other bedroom. A sofa bed adds space for your final two guests.

A mecca for outdoor sports and wilderness activities galore, Solitude Mountain offers year-round opportunities to commune with nature, from seasonal wildflower hikes to snowshoe excursions, stargazing, trail hiking, four-wheeling, and much more. But being close to Salt Lake City also has its perks - go just 29 miles northwest to find museums, professional sports arenas, Mormon-influenced landmarks, and eclectic shopping and dining options.

We walked in the door and our kids smiled and said it felt like we were at home. Great amenities (fabulous salt water pool with a water slide and a fire pit for roasting marshmallows), super kind and helpful staff, covered parking, well-stocked kitchen, laundry facilities. And it’s in an absolutely gorgeous location! We hiked around the area and went for walks along the creek that runs behind. It could not have been a better trip! Thanks for everything!

Skiing Solitude is the best kept secret. No lines, excellent runs. This place is ski in / out. Perfect little village that has almost everything. Recommend getting groceries before heading up the canyon! If not its not a big deal to drive back down. We will be back!

Lots of space for our two families with small children. Great hosts - very helpful and responsive.

Charming gem in the center of Solitude Village! 7 of us stayed here quite comfortably. We were a 20 second walk to all the restaurants and shops in the village and only 30 second ski away from the nearest chair lift. In the evenings we sat around the fireplace and could see the beautifully lit trees in the village all around us! We felt like we were in a beautiful snow globe! Our new favorite place to stay in Solitude! Can’t wait till next year!!

We were initially concerned because the bedroom with the bunks together with a king bed is located right over the parking garage overhead door; however, the noise was minimal and not an issue. Also, note that there is no washer and drying in the unit, but rather a shared pair of each for the whole floor (and one set was broken). HOWEVER, having said all that, this unit is super convenient to skiing. The ski lockers and access to the outdoors are as close as could be - one floor down just below the unit, and you could take the stairs right outside the unit door to walk down, if you did not want to go to the elevator. The Apex Express lift is a short walk. (Note, the Apex Express is not for beginners, I’m not sure how to easily access the greens while staying anywhere in the Village – maybe they have a shuttle?).
We cook, and so the kitchen is important; while it was not over the top high end, it was fine, and equipped better than some we've been to. It seems like Vacasa does a good job making sure the things you need are in the unit, including the kitchen. We talked to some neighbors who rented in Powderhorn thru the Mountain management, and they were complaining about how poorly the kitchen was set up with dishes, pots and pans, and utensils. We had no such complaints with Vacasa. This is our second time using Vacasa, and they make it easy. I recommend them, and plan to use them again.

This condo is in a perfect location and has everything you need! Beds are very comfy, building is well maintained, ski locker is in perfect spot! Can't beat it!

The kitchen is nice and appears to have recently been updated. However, the shower doors and fixtures in both bathrooms are very old and need to be updated. All the televisions need to be updated. There is an old CRT picture tube in the armoire in the master that needs to be thrown out. Smart Tvs or at least Blu-ray players need to be added. The newest TV in the 2nd bedroom was black and white and grainy. The armoire should be removed from the master and wall mounted TVs installed in both bedrooms. The fact that this unit has a VHS/DVD player speaks volumes of the need to update.
Manager response:
The bathroom fixtures are all working perfectly, so they will not be replaced at this time. We have suggested the other updates to the owner for their consideration. Thank you!

What a great place to ski, snowboard, snowshoe, cross country ski and just unwind. The slopes are well maintained and groomed. The staff is outstanding and the facility and mountains are beautiful. They have experienced instructors who are quick to offer encouragement to novices and classes alike. The facility is / feels comfortable and safe. We will be returning

Very nice condo convenient to the slopes. Easy access and parking.

Loved the location. Hot tub was great - met great people there every night.
Loved the set up of the living space. Second bedroom had bunk beds that made the room very tight for a couple to maneuver around in.
Would definitely come back and stay here again. Love Solitude very much.
Had a wonderful experience.

Vacasa made renting a very nice condominium so easy. Easy to pick up the key, park the car (indoors, heated) and find the unit we were staying in. Ski lockers and ski rental right in the building. Very short walk to lift. Solitude was not crowded, even on a holiday weekend. Not a lot of choices for eating out, but we were only there for a couple of days. Would definitely come back.
