Good property right on the water, walk out the door to the beach. Great covered patio for those rainy days.

We all had a great time. The kids really enjoyed the lake with the paddle boat, kayaks and water trampoline. And the "boys" all had a great time fishing.

The cottage is adorable and the decor is delightful. The outdoor space is just as presented and is utterly accessible and comfortable. The owner provides many extra personal touches (a s’more kit, dry firewood, filled candy jars and every game imaginable-for both indoor and outside). This went a long way on days the weather was too chilly to use the lake. We’ve been coming to Lake Cocolalla for many years and this is our favorite rental by far. We will be back!

The lake was nice and warm for swimming, the house was clean and well equipped. It was easy to find and not far from a store. The owners had lots of water equipment available which everyone enjoyed. We had a fantastic time and would definitely go again.

We arrived to the most wonderful greeting imaginable! The fire was on, the tree lit, the aroma of Christmas in the air! The beds are great, everything you need is there for you. The only reason this wouldn’t get more stars is because in the winter when you’re not using the fantastic outside kitchen, it can get a bit tight inside. The owner was amazing and very accommodating. Definitely would like to go back!

This is our 2nd time staying at the Cocolalla Lake Retreat and just as the first we had an amazing time. The house is located right on the lake with wonderful views of the lake. The patio area is large with plenty of seating. The beach had plenty of water toys and lawn chairs for seating. A fire pit with more seating and items for cooking s'mores. The house has two bedrooms downstairs. 1 room with full size and twin bed. Another room has bunk beds and the washer & dryer are in that room. Room is more of a kids room (small). Upstairs is the master room with king bed. Has twin bed and another bunk bed in a separate area with a door that can give privacy. One bathroom downstairs and one upstairs. The house is about 15min from Sandpoint which has many yummy places to eat. Highly recommend Baxters. Lobster roll and Duck plates so yummy. Nice wine list, Key lime pie made in house is very good. Already counting down the days for our return next year. Looking forward to another relaxing and peaceful stay. Best part the house is pet friendly!

Tiffany was very accommodating and had many extras waiting for us on arrival. We would certainly return.

Great location for walk out the door into water vacation. Rock for fishing, swimming and boating. Water toys for water fun. Home well equipped for a family stay. Only concern, if any, is train whistle noise. All other times lake area is quiet and peaceful. We'll suited to accommodate 8 people can do ten if needed. We have enjoyed this location for four years and it will be in the running for next year's get together.

The property is easily accessible and has everything you need for a fun and relaxing family vacation. Do as much or as little as you want. Tiffany provides anything you might need with several additional extras. The property is clean and well cared for. It could use a 'deep cleaning', however. Tiffany was readily available to answer our few questions. We had a wonderful time and would stay again.

We had a great vacation at the Cocolalla Lake Retreat! The cabin is homey, clean and very well equipped...lots of treats and special touches. We loved the huge deck, sandy beach and fire pit! We did almost all of our cooking outside. The lake was great for swimming, kayaking, paddle boarding and the kids loved the water trampoline and lily pad. Great location too! We hiked daily, golfed, zip lined, shopped and went to Silverwood! We were also able to take our dogs which was great. We didn't want to leave and would love to go back!????

This was our third year at the lake. Again, we had a blast, despite the weather. The kids love the lake and floating trampoline. The campfires on the beach (with smores of course) are always a hit. The weather started out a little cool and windy however, the kids son found out the waves were very fun to play in. They sat and/or stood on the floating Lilly pad and had the ride of their lives. As the weather improved so did the water sports and fishing. All the kids caught fish off of the dock and were either happy or sad for the fish (50% each way). Great place to get a group together and bond. House is large enough for our10 and the large deck that is at edge of beach makes it easy to watch and play with children. Shallow water at beach is perfect for little ones to splash around, build sand castles or just get down and dirty. The house is always presented clean. Owner supplies treats for kids which is cute. lots of games/puzzles etc. provided. Kitchen is well stocked with everything needed, just bring your food and drinks and your ready to go. Starter paper products are also on hand and washer dryer make it easy to keep things clean without having to pack a ton of cloths! We did one day in Sandpoint (15 minutes North) to visit beach park (very nice beach and play area) and ate at restaurant at park, very good food as well as service. Only went once as bridge work made it to hard to access. One day at Silverwood ( 20 minutes South)to help exhaust the kids on rides and more water fun. I would recommend this as a great vacation destination.

Beautiful smaller lake great for swimming, fishing, and canoeing. It was the perfect location between Sandpoint and Coeur d Alene. We enjoyed day trips to each of those areas and even ventured out to Priest Lake and enjoyed a hike to Slide Rock. Because it was our first time to Northern Idaho we wanted to explore more but we would have been perfectly content with just staying at Lake Cocolalla the whole time. The house had everything we could imagine needing and Tiffany was great to work with. My 4 kiddos enjoyed jumping on the water trampoline, swimming, fishing off the dock and using the many water toys that were available for use. The house was well stocked and maintained. We loved our stay and would definitely go back again. Thanks for the great memories!!

What a blessing to find such a beautiful home. After a recent loss in our family we were overwhelmed by the special welcoming touches we found. It was also our 50th wedding anniversary and you made that special. Thank you so much. It was a perfect place for family time. The grandkids had a great time on the trampoline and other toys made available to us. I even tried the trampoline. It was fun and gave the rest of the family a good laugh. The kids learned to fish, bait their own hook and take the fish off the hook. We have rented several homes on the coast. This one is by far THE BEST. It was so comfortable and welcoming. So many activities for the kids and so peaceful. It was the perfect place to begin healing from our loss. We all look forward to coming back next summer. Thank you so much for sharing your home.

We do an annual family retreat in Idaho to reunite the Seattle area families with the Montana group. This consists of Two Senior Grandparents, four parents and four grand children ages 5,5 and 2,2. This was a fantastic place for the retreat. From being able to walk directly into the lake from the back deck to the well furnished and welcoming house. The four bedrooms fit the group well. The two bathrooms were adequate as well as well equipped kitchen. The large partly covered deck allowed room to get some private space when needed. Everything a person would need was already stocked. We just replaced as we used. Lots of games and videos were stocked for kid entertainment. The dock was great to swim off of and the kids LOVED the floating trampoline! The kids also loved the lily pad float attached to the trampoline. The paddle board, row boat, and kayak were used by all at one time or another. Fishing was good from dock and boat. Caught small mouth bass, perch, catfish and trout. Some tin the two to three pound range. All catch and release as we hope for even bigger fish next time. We voted this the overall best place we have stayed during our five years of getting together in Idaho. We hope to be able to do another week in 2015.

We have stayed at many VRBO's over the years. Hand down this was the best place we have ever stayed. I would love to keep it a secret- so that we can have easy access to it each summer. If you are looking for a lake home to stay at- look no further. This is it. The property is impeccable and very well equipped. Ample space for kids and several adults. But the location is the selling point. The beach is perfect- especially for kids- even younger ones. Plenty of room to play. The deck is something straight out of Better Homes and Gardens. Honestly- anything and everything that you need or want is here. The owner is helpful and the communications with her were positive. I would absolutely recommend this home to anyone looking to spend some time on the lake.
