Wonderful glamping! If you used to go camping, but now prefer more amenities when sleeping under the stars these days, this is the best! Premium private bathroom, but then return to your retro camper…secluded, but 15 minute drive to Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock. Will come back again and again with my friends and family.

So so so cute and fun! The perfect glamping experience. The private bathroom is a nice touch! We will be visiting again asap!!!
Carissa K. Oct 2022
Quiet and clean. Pool water was too cold to swim unfortunately. And the water temp in the outdoor shower didn’t get warm enough to counter the outside temp of the outdoor shower. But overall well maintained and a cute concept.

My husband and I had been wanting to take a little getaway to Fredericksburg. We stayed here for two nights and had the best time. The RV we stayed in was so cute and perfect! We loved the record player, and the mattress was so comfy. The best part was the private bathroom and outdoor shower! We loved it all. Thanks so much for having us!

What an amazing place!! Our RV was the perfect size for me and my daughter, I love that it’s close enough to town, but not in all the Main St chaos. You can see all the stars in our big Texas sky, the pool is clean and the outdoor areas are comfy! The bathrooms are adorable and spacious! We will definitely be back!

We had a very nice stay. It is much like camping, but with extra amenities that make it much more comfortable. Frederickburg, Enchanted Rock, and Luckenbach are just a short drive away, if you need a destination for the day.

The camper was clean and spacious. My kids and I really enjoyed our stay. Loved the bathrooms and the fact that each camper had its own. Beautiful scenery.

We ended up going to Fredericksburg on a colder Texas weekend. The camper and bathroom facilities were impeccable, they've thought of everything. The bed was comfortable/ warm, the patios are great (when the sun was out) and the campfire was so perfect. The only thing that was missing was a table or something to eat a meal on. Now, I mentioned that we went on a cooler weekend...well, the showers are outside. We were not brave enough to shower in the 33 degree weather (even though the water was warm enough), our friends were brave enough to do so. There were some screams. It was cold. It's probably fine when the weather is above 40 but close to freezing felt a little to "polar plunge" for this Texas blood. We loved this Vacasa, super unique experience.

Very quaint and relaxing atmosphere.

This place is adorable! From the astro turf outside to the LP record player inside we loved every part of our stay here. You do have to walk a little ways to the bathroom and it was raining but honestly it was so fun to stay here I would do it again. It was a very fun quirky place near Fredericksburg and that made me smile.

Every detail down to the hardware, prints, records, and landscaping makes you feel like you’re back in time and in a retro paradise. I never wanted to leave. It was peaceful and precious and perfect. I can not wait to stay again! It was the absolute perfect places for my girls birthday weekend getaway!

My daughter and I enjoyed a two-day escape at Blue Skies. Miss Mary Longbottom had ample room for us to hang out, chill, read some books, do some art and listen to music. And the short, 15-minute drive to Fredricksburg gave us ample access to activities and good food.

We loved the retro vibe at Blue Skies. Really appreciated access to a private, full-size bathroom onsite. Miss Mary Longbottom was super cozy and comfortable. Will definitely return ... perhaps with more friends for a Girl's Weekend!

We really enjoyed our stay at Blue Skies. It's a great location for enjoying Fredericksburg and the Hill Country, especially if you are being COVID-cautious. The trailer was very clean; everything seemed new. The bathhouse is luxurious, and the common area was a nice place to gather around a fireplace. It was too cold to enjoy the pool; we'll have to come back!

We had the best time staying here. The trailer is clean and the bed is so comfy! The place is super adorable. We can’t wait to come back during the summer to use the pool.

We absolutely loved our stay , so relaxing and peaceful! Definitely what we needed . Second time there and already ready for another trip back !

My girls' weekend stay at Miss Mary Longbottom was far better than I expected! She had everything we needed in the small, but efficient space. Everything was clean and the privacy/security was great. The private bathroom was wonderful as well. Highly recommend booking a stay here if you want a more unique stay in the Frederickburg area!

This unique retro camper campground was the perfect girls getaway. This camper was spacious and don’t get my started on the modern glamorous bathrooms with outdoor showers (each camper has its own). Minutes from Fredericksburg and charming grounds with a pool.

Really cute set up and nice amenities! Felt relaxed for the 2 days we were out there. Only complain (which can be a big deal) is that cooking here is not ideal. They have a grill, but it's small and there's no prep area and no cooking (other than microwave) in the trailers. With all the amenities they have, I think they need to up their food prep area game.

We loved staying here over a long weekend. It was a great "glamping" experience with comfortable beds in the temperature-controlled RV's. This trailer is closet to the bathroom (about 30 feet). The common area's are large and the amenities were as described. It was quite rainy while we were there, would have been nice to have a bit more cover in front of our trailer, and then it was so windy that water blew in in the common space. Certainly not a deal-breaker, but could be an issue with prolonged bad weather.

I stayed at Blue Skies a couple of weeks ago and had the most amazing time - I didn't want to leave! They have taken "glamping" to a new level with a private spa bathroom for every trailer, private outdoor shower in the spa bathroom, the cutest and most perfect Shasta trailers, a private pool, and even a turf front yard with a sidewalk right outside your trailer. The inside of the Shasta was roomy and felt very comfortable with a substantial fridge, cold AC unit, coffee machine, and even a record player. The bed was so comfortable- I can't remember the last time I slept that well. I loved having coffee with the sunrises, relaxing by the pool during the day, visiting nearby wineries/restaurants, having a glass of wine with the breathtaking sunsets, and staring at the stars in the evenings. It's so peaceful and serene and the perfect place for R&R. I can't recommend Blue Skies enough and am already planning my next trip back!

A great experience escaping the city for quiet well maintained view of ranch land and night skies.
Kimber M. Jul 2020
We absolutely love this place! It was a wonderful getaway during this time of COVID-19. There are a few items that would be nice like an outdoor picnic table to eat in some shade. Make sure to bring serving utensils. We will for sure go back!!!
Amy V. Jul 2020
We had a great time! The campers were so cute and the bathrooms were a great addition! We enjoyed the pool and lounging in the outdoor shared seating area.
Abigail H. Jun 2020
Super cute place to stay near Fredericksburg!
Kevin H. Jun 2020
Campers are well shaded by attractive structures.
Camper A/C has been replaced with a quieter, more powerful residential unit.
Bathroom/grill building is well thought out. Cabinet pulls match the 60s cabinet pulls from the campers. Tiles match the colors from the camper. So much effort in the details.
Outside showers can be cold when the wind blows (even in June)
Katheryn L. Jun 2020
We loved our stay at Blue Skies! The drive in was beautiful. It was close to the Willow Loop Drive, Enchanted Rock, and of course all of the wineries!! The bathrooms made this place truly fabulous!! Outdoor shower? YES, PLEASE!! We will definitely return!!
Paul L. May 2020
This place is perfect for a fun getaway. Rent one RV or the whole place for a group. We enjoyed our stay here and the other folks that were staying in the other RVs made it pleasant to hang out at the pool with everyone. The only, literally ONLY, thing we could possibly complain about is that the park’s wifi only works well at the pool area. Our phones did not stay connected to the wifi while in the RV. Maybe that's on purpose to force everyone to enjoy each other instead, though?

If you're debating whether or not you should stay here for your trip to Fredericksburg - DO IT.
Ashley G. May 2020
We absolutely loved our stay at blue skies! I don’t have anything negative to say except a warning that the trailers don’t have a stovetop , only a microwave, however there’s a grill at the pavilion! Can’t wait to come back.
Jonas L. May 2020
Can't wait to go back. Great Hill Country get away!
Izzabel G. May 2020
This place was absolutely amazing, we were the only family there so we were able to enjoy the pool! It was such a cute place I definitely recommend
Victoria H. May 2020
A hidden gem in hill country. Pretend you’re back in the 50s with this mid century modern aesthetic.
Beth P. Mar 2020
The only advice I have is that your private bathroom Is also your closet! With this you do not have to cramp up your small adorable RV with bags etc. just leave it all in your private bath!!!
Matt G. Mar 2020
The trailer and bathroom were awesome! We also used the fireplace and the grill, everything was great. The location between Fredericksburg and Enchanted Rock was really nice since we planned on going to the park, but it is pretty remote so make sure to grab anything you need before you get there. We definitely want to go back when it’s a little warmer so we can use the pool. The only thing I would mention is that there were no plates or utensils in the trailer so make sure to bring what you need.
Manager response:
Thank you for staying with us! We appreciate your thoughtful feedback on this rental. We have passed along your suggestions to our local manager who will work with our homeowner to make sure we get some plates and proper eating utensils in the trailer. We look forward to hosting you again!
