Lovely dog-friendly suite w/ 4 on-site tasting rooms - along Hwy 290 Wine Trail!
Enjoy a wonderful glimpse of Texas Hill Country charm when you escape to this gorgeous dog-friendly Fredericksburg suite, a one-bedroom wine country retreat that offers a wood-burning fireplace, four on-site tasting rooms, and an ideal location along the Highway 290 Wine Trail.
This traditional stone suite is part of the Historic Rocky Cottage, a quaint complex of five private suites that sits six miles southeast of downtown Fredericksburg. These beautiful cottages can either be rented individually or together, creating a perfect getaway for as many as 12 people.
This single-level property enjoys close proximity to the restaurants, shops, and historic sites that make Fredericksburg so special. It's also adjacent to Six Shooter Cellars and Fiesta Winery, less than one mile from Alexander Vineyards and Rancho Ponte Vineyard, and within a short drive of dozens of wineries and tasting rooms in greater Gillespie County.
Rustic in style but elegantly outfitted, the interior living space is atmospheric and comfortable. Admire the exposed beams of the walls and vaulted ceiling, build a fire in the beautiful stone fireplace, or curl up on the luxurious leather sofa for an afternoon nap.
Return home from a day of wine tasting to enjoy a night at home with your loved one. Use the wireless Internet to plan the next day's itinerary, or sit down to enjoy your favorite show on the flatscreen TV.
You won't find a kitchen in this spacious suite, but a convenient microwave and coffee maker will help ease you into each morning. And as dinner time rolls around, you'll be glad to have the chance to try the delicious dishes at the nearby Cabernet Grill, Otto's, and Vaudeville.
This historic retreat also opens onto a large communal courtyard, which has a bubbling waterfall feature and large trees that provide shade on warm summer days. There's even live music and wine tasting here on most Saturday afternoons, courtesy of Fiesta Winery next door.
With one bedroom and one full bathroom, the Bordeaux Suite can sleep as many as two guests. The bedroom is accented by a bold red wall and features a king-size bed. The full bathroom offers a large vanity and a walk-in shower. If you'd like to bring along a dog a small nightly fee applies.
Thanks to its on-site tasting rooms and wonderful location on the Highway 290 Wine Trail, this Historic Rocky Cottage property is a wine lover's delight. In addition to the vineyards in the immediate vicinity, you'll find 4.0 Cellars and Grape Creek Vineyards just four miles away, as well as Pedernales Cellars only 12 miles away.
Hikers and rock climbers will also be enthralled by a visit to Enchanted Rock State Natural Area, which offers one of the most majestic landscapes in the region just 23 miles north.
Experience all of the beauty that the Texas Hill Country has to offer! Book your stay at this Fredericksburg suite today!

It was a cute little cabin. We enjoyed our stay. They do not provide soap or any toiletries, so pack your own!!!
Dwight A.Aug 2022
Rustic, but with modern amenities. Plenty of hot water and cold A/C. Generous table of snacks & goodies. Comfortable king sized bed.
Will C.May 2022
This is a perfect place to stay in Fredericksburg. It's located right next door to a winery and right in the middle of most of the other wineries around Fredericksburg. The cabin itself is cute. Not upscale by any means, but has pretty much everything you need. They have basic breakfast items, a refrigerator and a coffee maker. The bed is comfy, the bathroom was clean, they have an iron and hair dryer as well.
Janet S.May 2022
We enjoyed the location and the coziness of the cabin. Very spacious and it was so relaxing when you're looking for a place to unwind for a weekend. If I could change one thing, it would to add an additional lock that doesn't have a key to the inside the door to add to the safety of the guests.
Janet, thank you for the review after your stay at Historic Rocky Hill: Bordeaux Suite. We are so glad you enjoyed the cabin's coziness and the great location. We appreciate your comments and suggestions. Please come back again soon. Thank you!
Shasta F.Apr 2022
Absolutely loved the Bordeaux Suite! It was just what we were looking for to Celebrate our 15 yr Anniversary! It was the perfect location to enjoy all the wineries, downtown Fredericksburg as well as Luckenbach. The whole process was easy and the place was Beautiful! Will definitely stay again in the future!
Shawn H.Dec 2021
It was an awesome place it was quiet, comfortable, clean and just what we needed
Joseph N.Nov 2021
Beautiful place in good location. Very clean and spacious. It was odd that the fridge, if you can call it that, was so tiny. Plenty of room for a regular hotel-size mini-fridge or even a bigger one. Also the doors were a very squeaky. Some small issues to fix but a great room.
Thank you for your review, Joseph, we are happy to hear that you enjoyed your stay at our beautiful home. We sincerely apologize for any aspects of our home that detracted from your overall vacation experience. We appreciate our guests' preferences as a means to improve and will take this under advisement as an area of future consideration. We hope to have the opportunity to host you for a 5-star stay, in the future!
Sherry C.Nov 2021
We loved this rustic suite and the lovely grounds. It was well furnished and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay.
David K.Oct 2021
Patio area of the Fiesta Winery. Suite being dog friendly. Rustic look.
Jill W.Aug 2021
We loved this cozy, little cabin. It was perfectly comfortable for the 2 of us and our little dog. It was convenient to walk out the door to wine tasting options and the nearby boutique. Then only negatives were that it is very close to busy 290 and that the bathroom door wouldn't stay shut. We will rent it again though!
Brad B.Jul 2021
Great location. Nice accommodations.
Kathleen M.Jun 2021
Having stayed in both suites in this building i prefer Champagne. This one is very dark and no real closet or place to put your clothes.
Hello! Thank you for your thoughtful review. We are glad to hear you enjoyed your visit! We regret that the natural light and closet space were not suitable for your party. We appreciate this feedback as an area to improve upon in the future. We hope to host you again soon!
Jay R.May 2021
Beautiful suite in a great area!!!
David P.May 2021
King bed was comfortable and the room is well located. Also a nice shower.
Lucretia M.Apr 2021
Great location, clean
Kevin C.Mar 2021
Clean, neat, and tidy. Very nice home, with historic building elements. Bed was comfortable if a little soft for my taste. Location is a quick and easy drive 7 minute drive into "downtown". It is very peaceful and quiet at night despite being right off the highway, and there are wine tasting opportunities within 30 steps from your door. Unfortunately the Wifi is so slow as to be completely useless, even for email, and it would be nice if hangers were provided for hanging clothes. Lastly, and important, is the 10AM check-out time, which is only useful for the Vacasa corporation and very much inconvenient for the visitors, who are very likely to need a little more sleep given the location in the heart of the hill country wine district. Everything considered I might just pass given the early and very inconvenient check-out time, though everything else was great.
David H.Jan 2021
We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin was perfect, and the cabin’s feel was very warm. We liked it so well we didn’t go out for dinner. We had wine and cheese in front of the fire. Just perfect.
Laurel H.Dec 2020
Loved the fireplace and the entire property. Very clean
Kim K.Oct 2020
The perk of this room was it had a working fireplace, but the guest is responsible for supplying their own wood. The staff leaves you popcorn, water and dry cereal which is nice, along with coffee cups and wine glasses. It has a microwave and a fridge.
However, the internet is awful!! The driveway is impossible to see at night. The air filters are filthy. The bathroom needs work and there isn't so much as a drawer or closet space to put your belongings. It also needs a good cleaning.
Hi, Kim! Thank you for your review. We appreciate you letting us know about the issues you experienced and the areas in which we can improve. We're sorry if these had a negative impact on your stay. The local staff will be notified so we can look into finding more suitable solutions for the internet speed, lighting for the driveway, and get in touch with housekeeping to address the air filter and bathroom. We hope for another opportunity in the future to better impress you!
Shonna W.Oct 2020
Be careful of the mosquitoes!
Hi, Shonna! Thank you for letting us know about your stay. The fountain is part of the winery next door, and they have cleaned it out. We hope to see you again!
Kurt P.Oct 2020
Clean and quiet and enjoyed the live music and loved the mead from six shooters on site. Beautiful couch, but very uncomfortable and actually, no comfortable place to sit except in the courtyard. Please invest in a few comfy chairs and a bistro table.
Sandi H.Sep 2020
The location is perfect. The wine garden and wineries everywhere with gorgeous views, the peach groves all around and the friendliest folk the world has make this an ideal place for a romantic and inspiring stay.
Shawn D.Aug 2020
My wife and I spent the weekend for our anniversary and overall had a great time! Very close to several wineries. We would definitely come back.
David B.Jul 2020
Bedding accommodations and style of the room was great. Very peaceful. Loved the Muffins!!!
Danny J.Jul 2020
Room was pretty, but there was only breakfast for 1 day on a 3 day stay at your Bed and Breakfast. Grounds around the B&B was not clean. Beer bottles left and trash was not picked up for 2 days. A/C in unit was good in living room area but not in bedroom. We had to buy a fan to get air from living room to the bedroom to cool it down.
Thank you for your review, Danny! We are so glad you stayed with us and sincerely apologize for the breakfast items not being left. We do refresh this home every 3rd day of a reservation. Unfortunately, the winery tasting rooms on either side tend to have patrons leaving their trash; we have created signs asking them not to leave trash or utilize the porch. We hope to see you again!
Debbie G.Jun 2020
The location was close to many wineries. The room was clean and quiet.
Timo L.May 2020
Great getaway in a great location along the Texas wine trail hwy 290. Winerys everywhere, downtown Fredericksburg is 6 minutes away. Fiesta Winery tasting room is literally next door. The suite is as advertised, nice romantic/rustic touch. Instructions for arrival and departure were clear. Would definitely come back here for our next Fredericksburg trip.
Christopher W.Feb 2020
The cabin was very clean, roomy, and very comfortable. It is fairly close to a major highway, but once in the room, I never heard a single vehicle. If there was one thing I would complain about, it would be the shower. The shower was quite small. I would recommend the Bordeaux suite to anyone looking for a great vacation.
Marvin W.Feb 2020
Very nice size and nice fireplace. They had extra breakfast items, water, kitchen items and travel information. Very clean!!! Only downside you could not regulate temperature. We like it cooler and too warm as it’s set at 75. Would have given 5 star otherwise.
VIOLETA G.Feb 2020
Quaint, quiet, clean, and cozy! Added bonus by being located next door to Fiesta Winery.
Terri R.Jan 2020
We've stayed here in the past. Comfortable, convenient & quiet. And, pet friendly! I would ask to find another coffee cake to replace the one you can no longer get. It was so yummy. Also, Wi-Fi. You need to check your outside connection. We were unable to connect, though it read, connected. And, we noticed, a light is out on the receiver, outside. Thank you for your hospitality. Always a pleasure working with Vacasa!
Jason K.Dec 2019
Lives the rustic nature of the space. The fireplace was cozy and my wife and I spent both nights curled up on the couch enjoying the warmth. Wifi was AWFUL. Everything else was amazing!
Georganna S.Sep 2019
This was our first time at Rocky Hill but won't be our last! The cabin was exactly what we like in a Hill Country get-a-way. We loved the entire cabin with rocking chairs on the porch and beautiful scenery. And having muffins, cereal, milk, coffee, small fridge, microwave was great! It was also great to have access to wineries but we weren't around during open hours. Maybe next time!
Ryan G.Aug 2019
Very nice cabin that is on 290 and close to many of the main vineyards and the 290 bus stops here. I would definitely stay here again.
Javier T.Aug 2019
Cozy, quiet and quick access to several attractions. Check in was a breeze. Management was easy to reach and friendly. Our GPS misled us but a phone call to office led us in the right direction.
Definitely will stay again.
Leslie W.Jul 2019
We really enjoyed this quiet little place. It was just what we needed and very comfortable, a little like home.
Cheryl C.Jul 2019
We had a great trip to Fredericksburg and staying at Historic Rocky Hill was perfect for our group of 4. Our two separate rooms were housed in the same building which made coordinating activities very easy and convenient. The B & B was clean, comfortable and decorated beautifully. Thank you for the yummy danish that we had with our coffee for breakfast...what a nice touch! We will definitely be back and stay here again!!
JENNIFER B.Jun 2019
We stayed in the Bordeaux room. It seemed like we were staying in one of the original cabins that was nicely redone. Very clean and quiet considering how close we were to the highway. A light breakfast was provided, including some pastries that were delicious! Bed was very comfortable. We plan to stay here again whenever we visit Fredericksburg.
Paul D.May 2019
Nice atmosphere. Cozy cottage. Loved the danish.
Suzanne G.Apr 2019
Nice cabin ! Clean !
Lindsay K.Apr 2019
We loved our stay! Located right next to Fiesta Winery and Altstadt Brewery. Comfy place with everything you need for a short visit. We will be staying again in the future!
mark o.Apr 2019
The cabin was nicely furnished and located away from town.
STEVEN V.Mar 2019
Rocky Hill was wonderful- attention to detail and amenities, quiet at night, enjoyable music in the afternoon, just a little bit out of town and traffic, and the Fiesta Winery was a big bonus!
Jessica S.Mar 2019
This is a great rental in a cute and very convenient location. We were really impressed and loved our stay!
Juan T.Feb 2019
We loved the room. It’s lovely all around.
Carman D.Feb 2019
This was the best place ever! We absolutely loved everything about it. Super clean. Quiet. Loved the fireplace and the cinnamon rolls. We willl definitely stay here again.
Michael M.Jan 2019
The hassle free check-in was wonderful. I loved having the directions, key box code and instructions sent to me the day prior to our arrival. The room was spotless and very well stocked. The home made rolls and personalized welcome packet gave us a welcome feeling. Plenty of blankets, pillows and amenities made for wonderfully romantic stay for me and my wife. The on-site wine tasting and dog friendly location made for relaxing and restful holiday. We have already planned to return and enjoy another stay.
Brandi M.Jan 2019
Loved this suite! It was quiet, quaint, and great for a weekend getaway! The room is well-stocked and the danishes left on the table were superb! Would definitely stay here again.
Jennifer M.Nov 2018
Very comfortable and convenient to attractions. Delicious coffee cake was provided along with coffee, juice and cereal. The bed was heavenly with super soft sheets. The only issue was that the internet never worked....but it was kind of nice to unplug!
We appreciate your feedback, and thanks for staying with us! Our local operations manager went to the property and the internet seems to be working perfectly. It is satellite based internet, and we have not had any reported issues in the past year. We encourage all guests to reach out to our 24/7 Guest Services line if they encounter any issues.
Susan W.Nov 2018
The log cabin was awesome. Spacious, clean and well cared for. We loved the fact it was away from town, but had 3 wineries within walking distance.
Elida D.Nov 2018
Nice location and plenty of room. The bed was a bit firm for me but otherwise the cabin was very enjoyable. The coffeecake was fabulous! I would highly recommend.
Russ H.Oct 2018
A brilliant little structure in a charming setting. Restored log cabin, plenty of space, Wineries on site if you want to avoid the taste and drive situation... delicious coffee cake on the coffee table upon arrival and not too far from town!!
Kari A.Sep 2018
We traveled to the Fredericksburg area specifically to attend a concert in Luckenbach and do a little shopping. This location couldn't have been better - 5 minutes to the Luckenbach dancehall, and less than 10 minutes into town for shopping and eating. The location is ideal for wine tasting.
The Suite is part of an old log cabin - the two sides separated by a dogwalk (which has been enclosed), so it's like having a stand-alone unit. This would be amazing for two couples to rent the Bordeaux and Champagne Suites.
Things we loved:
Lots of towel racks and coat hangers
Great furnishings - Fabulous bedding
Has it's own water heater!
Amazing baked goods to welcome us
Things that can be improved:
The mini-fridge is too mini (we're on a special diet and brought a few of our own snacks) & the door won't seal so nothing really stayed cold - I think a shim under the front of the fridge would solve this, but honestly it needs a mini-fridge twice this size.
The coffee provided with the coffee pot was extremely stale, and there is no coffee scoop, so you get to play a guessing game!
No daily housekeeping service
No place to put your suitcase except on the floor in the corner of the living room. A large empty table in that corner or 2 folding luggage racks would be great.
Overall, we were very happy with our two-night stay and would recommend this location, especially if Luckenbach is your reason to visit.
We are sorry to see there was anything that detracted from this stay. We were able to successfully get the fridge to seal shut and guess our guest overfilled the fridge. We understand this is easy to do with a fridge so small; unfortunately, there is no room for a larger fridge. There is a chair in the corner of the room, as well as an end table, that guests can place luggage on. Again, there is no room to add a luggage rack. There is no daily housekeeping at this unit, which is reflected in the cost, but we do have other options with daily housekeeping if guests have a larger budget. Housekeeping has replaced the coffee and provided a coffee scoop. Thank you!
Susan and Tom B.Aug 2018
Very nice cabin; clean and comfortable.
James H.Aug 2018
Was the prefect place for out anniversity. Far enough from the crowds, yet close enough for easy access to venues.
Nicholas K.Jul 2018
We really enjoyed our stay. The room was comfortable and clean, and very convenient for a weekend of fun.
Rose F.Jul 2018
I stayed here on business for a couple of days. The location is convient if you want to be close to town but far enough away from the traffic. This is my second time staying here and it won’t be my last!
Mike Z.Jul 2018
This was our second trip to Fredericksburg and the first time we stayed downtown. We wanted to change it up and found this eclectic cabin-style suite there was conveniently located midway between the wine trail and downtown. It definitely had a cool vibe to it, along with the host providing fresh coffee, microwave popcorn, etc. as well as satellite TV and good Wi-Fi. There are also two wineries adjacent to the suite but neither suited our taste. Definitely would return.
Jon A.Jul 2018
Went on a last minute trip, booked this property and everything was great. Bed was a bit uncomfortable (hard) but everything else was great. After 6pm you basically have the property to yourself. Has a nice fire pit to sit out by and relax.
Barney L.Jul 2018
Great location and awesome cabin feel. Harddddd bed and several maintenance issues that need to be resolved.
Mary Beth A.Jul 2018
Location was great! All the amenities were perfect, especially the coffee cake! We will definitely return for a longer stay!!
Kyle B.Jul 2018
Great location just outside of town, but still a quick drive to wineries and downtown. Very comfortable cabin/room with more private feeling than a normal hotel.
Jason B.Jun 2018
My girlfriend and I stayed 2 nights here in the bordeaux suite and it met our expectations and more. The cabin was well stocked with all the necessary items and it was so peaceful! We loved the charm and decor of the cabin. Conveniently located, close to town and all the vineyards. Would definitely recommend this place, and we plan to stay here again on our next trip to Fredericksburg
Paige B.Jun 2018
Location was awesome. Room was great. Had a great time visiting with local winery.
Malissa B.May 2018
Would love to return. Great unexpected surprises, such as fresh bakery on the table and a stocked fridge and snack area. The king size bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed the separate sitting area. The thoughtfulness put into the charm is wonderful!
Teresa D.May 2018
It was just like the pic online. Everything was clean and in place. We had a very relaxing 2 nights. A very enjoyable trip
Nancy B.May 2018
Centrally locates between downtown Fredericksburg and the 290 wineries. Quiet and relaxing at night. Will stay again!
elena r.May 2018
We absolutely loved the Bordeaux suite. The separate living room was beautiful and made it really feel like your own little cabin. Location was perfect - very close to town and we had several tasting rooms right on the same property. We were able to enjoy some live music and drinks without leaving our porch. We will definitely be back and book this same exact suite!
Virlene P.May 2018
Loved loved the bed !! So comfortable. Slept so well. The refrigerator was stocked and the fresh coffee cake was wonderful. The grounds are so pretty. We would stay here again.
P Blake C.May 2018
Even though we only stayed one night my wife loved the bed so much she begged me to stay one more night before going back to San Antonio. It’s a beautiful cabin as well.
Nancy W.Apr 2018
Very nice. Had a good time. Everything was clean and neat. Thanks
L Kathleen F.Apr 2018
Awesome log cabin within a winery. Dog friendly, breakfast snacks furnished, convenience location to wineries and Fredericksburg.
Lynn G.Apr 2018
Loved our suite! The linens were soft and bed very comfortable! Fridge was well stocked with milk, oj and bottled water. There was even hot chocolate and popcorn available for snacks. The sitting area was very comfortable and we loved the cabin feel!
Katy G.Apr 2018
We loved the location of the property. If you want to stay outside of town, on location with three tasting places- this is it! The room was nice and perfect for a weekend getaway!
Rose F.Apr 2018
Stayed in this place for a business trip so I didn’t get to enjoy it as much as I would have liked. I will definitely return for a relaxing stay in the future!
Rose M.Mar 2018
We needed some time away from the city chaos, and decided to stay at this lovely romantic and quiet cottage. It really exceeded our expectation and would like to go back sometime soon.
Dennis V.Mar 2018
The best place we have eer stayed for price and quality. Just beautiful.
Jason W.Feb 2018
We only stayed for a night as we were passing though, but the grounds were nice and the room was quaint.
Joseph P.Feb 2018
Idea location along Hwy 290, with adequate space and comfort for two people
Kelsi L.Feb 2018
My husband and I had a weekend getaway for my birthday and it was very relaxing. So convenient to have wineries to walk to from the little cabin! Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back!
Dustin C.Dec 2017
We stayed during the week so it was very quiet & secluded with little traffic. Parking could definitely be a problem during peak hours / days. We travel with our lab so we really appreciated having a spacious yard behind the cabin to let him run & play each day! The rustic cabin was very clean & cozy, exactly what we were looking for! And being out of town & near the wineries on 290 was a fun experience!
Tanis P.Dec 2017
We enjoyed our time in the Boardeaux Suite at Rocky Hill. It had 3 spacious rooms, was very comfortable and private. The amenities were good and the food provided tasted yummy!
BO L.Dec 2017
Great place to stay!! We will definitely be staying here again
Georgeann V.Dec 2017
Everything was very nice and we really enjoyed all the Christmas decorations in town.
Catherine M.Dec 2017
Had a wonderful time in Fredericksburg, Tx. Great little town, great shops & restaurants & wonderful accommodations at Historic Rocky Hill - Bordeaux Suite. Loved being just outside of town - quiet but just a few minutes from town. Have used other vacation rental companies before & Vacasa was 1 of the best. Vacasa staff were friendly & helpful; we will try to use them again. Historic Rocky Hill was charming, well furnished, very clean & the cinnamon rolls left for us were a very nice touch (as well as being super delicious!).
Julie M.Nov 2017
The vaulted ceilings and log cabin decor, along with the word burning fire place make this a relaxing place to stay very close to Fredricksburg. The tasting rooms are a great stop before you head out to dinner, or relax in the courtyard for a midday break.
Adam M.Nov 2017
Great little cabin with 4 tasting rooms in the same parking lot. I would stay here again in a heartbeat.
Kahla O.Nov 2017
We really enjoyed this place. It was convenient to the wineries being right on the main road but still felt secluded and out of the way. It was cute and quaint and we enjoyed it alot. We will defiantly visit again.
Charles M.Nov 2017
We have stayed at the Rocky Hill B&B before a few years back. We loved the suite we were in at that time so we thought we would give it another try. We love the size of the Bordeaux Suite, and they had everything you need for a nice secluded weekend away from home. The only complaint that we have is the bed in that suite was rock hard, and we left with aching bones. I am so hoping they will do something with it because it is perfect for us! Housekeeping was excellent! The rooms at Rocky Hill are very quiet even with three or four wineries onsite, and I love the decor! It isn't very far from town, and it is very close to some our favorite places like the Wildseed Farms, Sister Creek Winery, and Luckenbach!
Edward B.Oct 2017
We enjoyed our two night stay at the rustic Rocky Hill B & B. It is located about 6 miles outside the wonderful town of Fredericksburg, off the main highway and if you are into wineries, it is surrounded by four wineries within steps of the lodging. The room is set up with Wi-Fi and DirecTV but doesn't have the USA Network Channel...... strange?
We have already referred Rocky Hill to our neighbors and we would stay there again!
Rhonda D.Oct 2017
The cottage would have been perfect if the AC were not needed
David B.Oct 2017
Very clean and quiet, close to town and easy to get to. There were snacks and drinks along with a coffee cake when we arrived. Will definitely stay again.
Sherrie O.Aug 2017
Cabin was awesome! Full German danish was a pleasant surprise. Bed was comfy. AC was good. No complaints at all on cabin! And our pet liked it, too.
Jessica B.Aug 2017
We stayed here for our anniversary and family reunion. The room was very quiet. Also very close to all the wineries. A great location.
Kelly H.Jul 2017
My fiancé Steven and I booked this getaway as a last minute breather from the hustle of Houston. We were SO pleased with this rental. It was spotless! Loved the charming decor and accommodations included. Also love the property it is situated on- I woke up to a horse grazing in the field outside my window! As a Kentuckian girl, that spoke to my heart for sure!
Hospitality was impressive from the folks at Vacasa as well as every artisan/shop owner in Fredricksburg. Everything was perfect. We cannot wait to come back.
Richard T.May 2017
We loved sitting on the porch in rockers with our dog on Saturday listening to the music and watching the world go by and waking up to the horses in the pasture next door. Good to get away from the city!!
Victoria V.May 2017
Overall the cabin was nice. This cabin is in a duplex style with another cabin.
Jamie F.Apr 2017
We enjoyed our stay. The bedroom was quiet and dark which allowed for a good nights sleep. The coffee and continental breakfast was convenient.
Debbie D.Mar 2017
This is the perfect spot to hit all the wineries on 290. We would book again for sure! We stayed 5 nights and the fridge is tiny, so bring an ice chest if you what to keep wine/beer cold or have your own snacks.
Bridget G.Mar 2017
Enjoyed our stay at the Historic Rocky Hill: Bordeaux Suite. We were able to check early and be able to check out the main strip in Fredericksburg.
Alan J.Mar 2017
As advertised! Had a great stay and rather enjoyed being able to have 5 tasting rooms within walking distance!
Mike C.Mar 2017
Very nice cabin...it was warm and felt like home. Will be back to stay in the same cabin.
Joe D.Feb 2017
The office staff ladies were very pleasant, courteous, and helpful. They helped to make entire trip worth that much more. The suite was well laid out and very comfortable to stay in, we will be returning.
Danielle M.Feb 2017
We loved our stay here!
Alicia M.Feb 2017
A friend of mine and I stayed here for a girls getaway and it was just the perfect spot! Very clean and comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!
Isreal V.Feb 2017
The ambiance was amazing. So many things to see and do within a 6 mile radius. I will visit again in the near future. Luckenbach Bar is a must!
Ashley A.Jan 2017
Cozy, spacious, and close to vineyards!
Glenn R.Dec 2016
Overall, a great rental and the Danish surprise was awesome.
Albert B.Dec 2016
Great location, nice view, very nice cottage.
Kenny G.Nov 2016
We stayed here for our anniversary. This place is absolutely beautiful! As parents of 8, we could not have asked for a more peaceful escape!
Melvin O.Nov 2016
convenient to winery's and Fredericksburg
Shelly M.Oct 2016
Very cozy and nice cottage. Well lit outer area. Within walking distance to four wine tasting rooms and a boutique. 10 minutes outside of town for quick shopping. Close to Leukenbach also. Nice continental breakfast including a great coffee cake. Bed was very comfortable. We enjoyed the separate living area to watch a movie during a heavy rain storm.
Cindy S.Sep 2016
Love the cozy cabin decor.
Abigail N.Aug 2016
My boyfriend and I stayed here for a couple nights during the week with our 2 small dogs. Perfect quiet, romantic getaway for us! We cannot wait to go back.

We loved staying here because we had a beautiful view of nature (tiny ponies grazing on a pasture!), the room was comfortable and quiet, and just outside was a winery with outdoor seating, music, and shopping. It all shuts down around 6 p.m. so our evening was relaxing and quiet. It's just a short drive to Fredericksburg's Main Street for more action!
