Dog-friendly suite with a fireplace & tasting rooms on-site!

Wake up in the heart of wine country when you stay at this one-bedroom Fredericksburg suite, a beautiful Texas Hill Country retreat that offers four tasting rooms on the property, dog-friendly accommodations, a private wood-burning fireplace, and a wonderful location on the Highway 290 Wine Trail.

Beautifully situated just six miles outside of historic downtown Fredericksburg, this traditional stone suite is part of the Historic Rocky Cottage, a charming five-suite property that is ideal for wine enthusiasts. These elegant private suites can either be rented together, for as many as 12 people, or individually by couples and solo travelers. This listing includes the Champagne Suite, located in a gorgeous historic log building facing the shared courtyard.

Whether you're planning a romantic weekend or a group getaway with friends, you'll find Fiesta Winery and Six Shooter Cellars right next door, Alexander Vineyards and Rancho Ponte Vineyards less than one mile away, and Lyndon B. Johnson State Park and Historic Site only 13 miles away.

The interior living space is full of rustic atmosphere, but offers plenty of luxurious modern convenience. Take a seat and admire the vaulted ceilings and exposed wood beams, bring a book along to read in the comfortable rocking chair, or enjoy the warmth of the stone fireplace on the soft leather sofa.

Spend a day exploring the serene landscapes of Enchanted Rock State Natural Area just 23 miles north, and return home to browse the WiFi or relax with your loved one in front of the flatscreen TV.

Enjoy freshly brewed coffee in your suite each morning, but please be advised that there is no kitchen. Yet you'll hardly notice its absence as you enjoy meals at Vaudeville, the Cabernet Grill, Otto's, and other wonderful restaurants in and around Fredericksburg.

Just beyond your front door, you'll have use of a lovely shaded courtyard with mature trees and a spa-like waterfall fountain. And on most Saturday afternoons, you'll enjoy live music performances and wine tasting courtesy of Fiesta Winery!

At night, the Champagne Suite can accommodate as many as two guests in its one-bedroom, one-bathroom space. The bedroom features rustic wood paneled walls and a king-size bed with a floral coverlet. The spacious full bathroom has a large vanity and a stall shower. Feel free to bring your dog for a small, nightly pet fee (please note a 30 lb weight limit).

With four tasting rooms directly on-site, it can be easy to forget about the many Texas Hill Country beauties that await just beyond the property. There are dozens of wineries and tasting rooms in Gillespie County alone, including the renowned Grape Creek Vineyards and 4.0 Cellars just four miles away.

History lovers will also delight in a visit to downtown Fredericksburg, where you'll find more than 80 sites of interest in the historic district alone, as well as a fantastic seasonal farmers market in Marktplatz Kinderhalle.

Leave your worries and cares behind you - let this Fredericksburg retreat give you the restful vacation you've been waiting for!

We stayed here for 4 nights including New Year's Eve. Right off 290 which didn't really bother us. It isn't at all a B&B, but very nice and clean. Right outside is the nice court yard of the Fiesta Winery. It was fun to grab a bottle of wine from a great staff member Tracy...sit and listen to live music...just steps from your room. We only had a few suggestions. Our arrival instructions included a long code and then we were supposed to get a key out of the lock box but the info we got did not include that lock box code....we did get the info from the management company but had to make several calls. The fireplace was something we looked forward to and paid extra to get it, but no starter wood or lighter were provided. The management indicated that they would find some but never followed up in the 4 days we were there. Number light bulbs were out and the small dorm room style refrig was way to small for the time we spent there (and had no freezer area). Finally and this is more for the management company...The toilet is dangerous to sit on...we are smaller humans and the thing is very careful it might break. I know that is a lot but we really enjoyed our time there and the location was great. Remember you can park out back!!!
Manager response:
We're sorry we missed getting back to you regarding the starter wood, David. It is on order and should arrive shortly. Maintenance will get the light bulb changed out shortly as well. If the mini-fridge does not provide enough space, we recommend utilizing the shared kitchen area to store your items. Thank you!

Enjoyed our stay in the Champagne Suite. The bed was super comfortable and we slept great. Would stay here again.
kerry b. Nov 2022
Charming, rustic cabin in the heart of wine country. Stone fireplace for a cozy romantic fire in the evening. Close to downtown.
Marilyn M B. Oct 2022
It was nice and quiet week!
Mary H. Oct 2022
We really enjoyed our long weekend at Historic Rocky Hill. Our Champaign Suite was very nice. The staff at the Fiesta Winery were great and friendly. The premises were neat, quiet and very relaxing.
luke r. Sep 2022
Everything, was amazing but however. The road at night was hard to see. That lead to the property it could us more lighting. A the toilet was loose kept moving. Everything was awesome just wish you all had. A bathtub
Manager response:
Luke, thank you for your review. We are so glad that you enjoyed your time here. Our apologies for the maintenance issues you encountered when you visited us. We will have our maintenance technician check out the toilet and we will get with the homeowner and adjacent winery to the property regarding the lighting. We thank you for honest feedback and will work on these requests promptly. We hope to see you again in the future!
Ken W. Jul 2022
The description led us think we were staying at the winery. Ended up being a tasting room with a bunch of empty buildings around the one our room was in. We were extremely disappointed and left after the first night. As for the breakfast part of the Bed & Breakfast there one muffin for me and my wife to share.
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Ken. We apologize for the disappointment. We make every effort to present clear, accurate descriptions of our homes in order for guests to make informed decisions on their rental choices. We encourage guests to reach out with any questions or concerns prior to booking, as we are happy to help. Thank you.
Alejandra G. Mar 2022
It was the most beautiful week. The fireplace was our way to end each night. Clean and so cute.
Troy F. Jan 2022
We had a wonderful time in Fredericksburg and really loved our B&B. The reason I gave it 3 stars is that the mattress is so worn out that me and my wife had back the whole time there.
Donette B. Dec 2021
Cabin was cozy and a great location being out of the busy downtown area. The Fiesta Winery was awesome and we loved the outdoor space!
Nancy T. Nov 2021
Comfortable and nicely appointed. We will return for sure.
Richard C. Nov 2021
Worn out very uncomfortable mattress. Bed was so bad we left after one night of a two night stay. Mismatched and missing /burnt out light bulbs inside. Toilet loose due to missing attachment hardware. Missing and broken outside lighting.

Great location and neat historic building. However will not return.
Michael B. Oct 2021
5 mi from Fredericksburg.. perfect stay as we have been to this historic suite 5 times now. There are only 4 other sister suites so privacy is perfect!
Aimee H. Sep 2021
We were very comfortable in the Champagne room. Very convenient location. Appreciated the well stocked cupboard. Will be back.

Loved this cabin! It is just as cute as the pictures! Loved it!
Janice S. May 2021
Very comfortable, quiet ... we’re there on a Sunday and Monday night so no activity at the winery which was great for us as we enjoyed sitting out in the courtyard.
Ward D. May 2021
Loved the suite! Hill country setting was beautiful with wineries on site! Suite was cozy and comfortable. The old log cabin was beautiful! For future guests, need to add physical address, we had trouble finding the place.
Connie R. May 2021
Spent three nights here celebrating my birthday. Located away from the hustle of the city but close enough to enjoy it all. I loved the rustic log cabin appeal and having the tasting rooms and large outdoor sitting areas on sight. Our suite, the “Champagne” was so cute, clean, and furnished with everything you needed. The king size bed was very comfortable. If I would change anything, it would be a little larger fridge and a separate kitchen sink (only one was in bathroom). Would definitely recommend anyone to choose here to stay. 💕
WAS Rocky Hill Property LLC (. Dec 2020
We loved staying at this cute cabin with a rustic feel. The beds were comfy and it was nice to have a mini fridge, coffee maker & microwave. It was quiet, which surprised me being close to the highway. Overall it’s a great place for the value!
Mayra R. Nov 2020
Very spacious and relaxing. The bed was comfortable and slept well. Nice bathroom as well.
Casey R. Nov 2020
Very clean and private! Loved the unique rustic feel and convenience to many stops close to Fredericksburg!
Dianna K. Oct 2020
Very comfortable and clean cottage. Even though it shows you share a wall with the next cabin, you really don’t because there is a common space between them. There is a great fireplace in the cabin and a fire pit on the premises. Plenty of chairs and tables amongst the trees that you could relax in and enjoy a nice bottle of wine. Exactly as advertised! Easy procedures for accessing the keys for check in/out and free wireless internet. You are only a short drive to town and it is not an inconvenience at all. Right next door to Alstadts brewery that you can walk to. Would highly recommend!! It was a great anniversary mid-week getaway.
Rahul K. Oct 2020
Overall, this unit is probably fine, but not worth the price.

Inside, the unit felt dated and stuffy. The bed & pillows were very uncomfortable, and the amenities were minimal. The unit needs a significant update to justify the cost.

Outside, the unit overlaps with the Fiesta winery, which we learned is a pretty lively party scene on saturday afternoons. The party scene tends to expand up to the unit's front patio. Normally wouldn't be a big deal for us, but it didn't appear that the best social distancing practices were visible, and it is something to be aware of when booking this unit for a weekend.
Megean L. Aug 2020
Perfect for a weekend get away. Perfect location. Clean. It is not a bed and breakfast, however cereal and milk was provided, as well as a couple of muffins for breakfast. Very cozy, will stay here again.
Lee F. Aug 2020
Quaint log cabin style 1bdr 1 bth. Really enjoyed our stay!
Angela H. Jul 2020
Beautiful and cozy cabin !! My daughter and I had a wonderful trip ... my only suggestions for improvement would be to have the a/c turned down prior to arrival . The living room is hard to keep cool once it has gotten hot during the day .. the first day it was very warm in the house and difficult to cool .. once it did cool down overnight it was fine Throughout our stay . Would definitely stay here again ... very quiet and peaceful !!
nicole r. Jun 2020
I love the smell of the wood in cabins with fireplaces. Champagne suite has that wonderful welcoming smell. Perfect layout. Nice big living room with a table big enough to play games like scrabble. Nice sized bedroom which can be fully darkened for people who need to sleep in serious darkness. This is a huge selling point for us. Also a variety of pillow thicknesses, forgot my own pillow but didn’t need it. Bathroom is reasonably sized which I appreciate, we don’t want to spend much time in there and prefer the space allocated to living and bedroom. Shower no tub, one sink, the essentials. AC worked perfectly in hot summer weather. Good lighting. All the amenities like glasses, plates, bottle opener. Good enough WiFi to access my office which requires quite a bit of speed and bandwidth. Very happy about that. Great location for getting to Pedernales, enchanted rock, wineries, restaurants, peach stands, and more. Download the app to get the code to get into the room, didn’t realize that initially and thought we wouldn’t be able to get in but it all worked out when super nice guests who were regulars helped us. Friendly people everywhere we went. A clean, beautiful, historic cabin. A wonderful stay. We will be back.
Troy B. Jun 2020
After enjoying the wine tours this place is quiet and relaxing. Convenient location because it’s not far from Luckenbach or downtown Fredericksburg. Will definitely book again.
William M. Jun 2020
Not used to staying with winery businesses but never impacted @ sitting area was great & quite
Sharon H. Jun 2020
We enjoyed our time at the Champagne Room. It had everything we needed for a quiet restful trip.
We stayed 5 nights. Would definitely stay again!
Karin T. Mar 2020
Loved the nostalgic feel of the rooms and proximity to 3 wineries! The location was also convenient for traveling the 290 Wine Trail and going to Luckenbach, The reason we didn't give it a "5" is due to the check-in process. We never received an email with the lock box code. If it weren't for a couple we met at the winery next dooe who had the phone number of the on-call person, we may have waiting for a long time for them to get back with us. (29th in line when calling!) A tiny inconvenience was trying to handle the Mr. Coffee on the microwave without the needed room. I managed and, thankfully, the coffee provided tasted GREAT! (And I'm a coffee snob) All-in-all, we highly recommend staying here!
Matt and Heloise L. Mar 2020
Very quaint cabin.
Mike P. Mar 2020
Nice place. Would stay again.
Kathleen M. Mar 2020
This is our second time here and we love the location, fireplace and being right on the grounds of the winery. We had another great visit and will be back again. We asked for an early check in and were told we'd have to wait until 9:30am the day of our arrival. We never heard anything....need to be a little more flexible on early arrivals. The site showed there was no one checked in before us, so we should have been told it was OK at least the day before since it was obvious there had been no one there directly before us and there was plenty of time to get the room ready. Also we were a little disappointed in getting just two small muffins. Last time we got a whole coffee cake!! Nice that you provide baked good though. Other than those two things, everything was perfect!
Manager response:
Kathleen, we are pleased to hear that your returning visit was enjoyable! We appreciate the feedback regarding early check-in and apologize if the protocol was unclear. Please know if early check-in is available, we will notify guests by 9:30. If the notification is not sent, then the standard 4 pm check-in time stands. In most cases, local staff has scheduled inspections, deep cleans and maintenance checks for many of our homes between guest bookings. We hope this information clears up any confusion, and we hope to host you again next visit!, Thank you!
GARY N. Mar 2020
Comfortable and clean
Susan W. Feb 2020
Great location. Close to brewery and 2 wineries. Bordeau suite is actually nicer in my opinion.
Julanne W. Jan 2020
The cabin was so cute !! Saturday afternoon they had a wonderful band play right outside we sat in the porch & enjoyed the music.. Loved it !! We will be back
Shanna C. Jan 2020
I have stayed in Fredericksburg many times but this was my first at Champagne Suite. Catching the wine shuttle was an easy way to see new wineries and get back to the room safely.
Kendall M. Jan 2020
This was a great little cottage. We thought we would have our five month old son and wanted the space. We ended up not having him (thanks grandma) and the cottage was a little removed for getting to main st, dinners and walking about. If you are looking for something out of the way, quiet and with good space this is the place. Otherwise somewhere closer to Main Street would have been better. Would have made five stars if the place had a tub, more of a kitchen setup and a softer bed. Would stay again for the price, maybe if we had friends want to come too and we could stay next door to each other.
Randy M. Oct 2019
Stayed for a quick weekend trip to Fredericksburg area. We had our dog and this place was well suited for someone traveling with their pet. A lot of open space to walk your dog. Room was great with a large well appointed sitting/living room and a large bedroom with king size bed. Very rustic cabin feel, but was well done. It's about a 5 - 10 minute drive to the downtown area, but lots to do near the cabin. Altstadt brewing's new facility is right next door (walkable) and has a good restaurant and very nice tasting room. Would stay here again. Easy check in / out via lock box. Breakfast is very minimal and we just went into town to get coffee and pastries each day anyway.
Laura W. Sep 2019
Lovely place - authentic planed log cabin, spacious floorplan, comfortable bed. Stocked with danish, coffee, milk, and juice for breakfast. Everything was just perfect!
Debra C. Aug 2019
Loved the uniqueness of the property.
Dawn G. Jul 2019
Loved the rustic cabin. Beautifully decorated and they have thought of everything!! Highly recommend and will book there again!!!
Krystle T. Jul 2019
The whole place is just beautiful! Great wine tasting spots, and nice place to relax after a long day. We will definitely stay again!
Kathy M. Jul 2019
Very nice place. We would stay here again.
Tim B. Jun 2019
Loved this cozy place to stay just outside of Fredericksburg!
Melva S. Jun 2019
So cozy. Loved the atmosphere, quiet. It rained our first night and you could hear the rain on the roof, brought back such great childhood memories.
Wanda M. Apr 2019
We, loved the log cabin! It was so cute inside and made us feel like we had stepped back in time. It was very quite and peaceful. It was just perfect distance from Fredericksburg. It was a wonderful time to see the Bluebonnets. We, will stay here again!
Kevin B. Apr 2019
The cabin was just right.. Very cute, very nice place. It was stocked with breakfast stuff, coffee, juice, water, cereal, milk, cream, sugar, splenda etc.. and strudels which were very good.. The only thing I would add would be a ceiling fan and TV in the bedroom.. We had to move from the bed to the couch to relax and be lazy to watch TV Sunday morning..
Vicki H. Apr 2019
The rooms were just as the pictures showed. Very nice and comfortable. Think of it as a hotel room - not a cabin - and your expectations will be exceeded! The wine rooms on the property are great!
Chance L. Mar 2019
Great place to stay without the craziness of downtown Fredericksburg. I planned a proposal (with the help of friends) and was able to get in the room about an hour early for my, now Fiance, time to get changed to go to winery for proposal. It is a little way out of town (5 miles) but there are plenty of car services (Uber, Lyft) in town to get you there and back. We will stay again.
Cara C. Feb 2019
Very clean and rustic....great location. There was even a large tray of fresh danish waiting for us. Loved it!
Timothy M. Feb 2019
Nothing better than a cozy, comfortable, affordable place smack in the middle of four wineries and close enough to Fredericksburg, other wineries, Garrison Bros and Hye Rum along with trade days. Totally enjoyed ourselves!
Martin M. Feb 2019
This is a rustic typical mid 1800s "dog run" split log cabin made into a cozy upscale hotel room. Loved the location and amenities.
Jeramy M. Jan 2019
My wife and I rented this unit for a weekend getaway for just the two of us without kids. This location was perfect. It was close to all the wineries, and just a short drive from Fredericksburg. Everything was clean and set up for us when we arrived. Beautiful unit and property. Nicely furnished. Looks just like the pictures. We highly recommend the Historic Rocky Hill: Champagne Suite.
De' Borah A. Jan 2019
Perfect Honeymoon location. Quiet, peaceful & relaxing!
Dale W. Jan 2019
Beautiful quite rustic cabin located just outside Fredericksburg. The fireplace was wonderful and loved the winery next door. Would stay again!
Gracie V. Dec 2018
I enjoyed the quietness, the fact that it had the fireplace and everything was provided for us
The fact that we were only 6 miles away from Town thank I would recommended it highly.
Charles B. Dec 2018
We enjoyed 4 days here while we visited all the nearby towns. Great place to relax
Jerry S. Dec 2018
Beautifully designed use of original log cabin materials.
Very comfortable. Could have used additional lighting for reading. Good location with Fiesta Winery.
Tobye R. Nov 2018
My husband and I had a couples weekend with two other couples whose husbands served with him. We were celebrating my birthday, USMC birthday, Veterans Day, and one of the couple’s anniversary. The location was perfect. We were not far from town or any of the vineyards. The vineyards onsite were awesome. The cabins were beyond amazing! Comfortable beds, cozy couches gathered around the fireplace. Only downside was the weather didn’t allow for us to spend evenings on the patio. We stayed in the Champagne room and can’t praise it enough. Will definitely be back.
Donald L. Oct 2018
close to everything
Brian P. Sep 2018
Took my wife here for our 25th wedding anniversary. She loved the room and we absolutely recommend this place.
April C. Sep 2018
Nice romantic stay. We'll be back.
Holly L. Aug 2018
I loved this place. A very peaceful, rustic feel. Clean and comfortable. Would definitely go back!
Melissa K. Aug 2018
The Champagne Suite was beautiful, very clean, quiet and a lovely place to stay. I would definitely stay here again (I visited during the week) and I loved how quiet it was. This is a charming place to get away too.
Paul K. Jul 2018
Cozy little cottege, with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay.
Lisa H. Jul 2018
The Champagne cottage was clean, comfy, and so cozy. We had a fantastic weekend getaway in this fun, little place and hope to return right back to this spot someday. The staff at Vacasa was super helpful and accommodating in prepping for our arrival, and all the welcoming touches sure show their caring and considerate nature. We were very impressed and very happy here!
Tami K. Jul 2018
This cabin was very cute! I was worried about road noise but we could not hear anything. It is back far enough from road that it is quiet. Bed was very comfortable. Would be a neat place to stay in the fall.
Judy & Lawrence K. Jul 2018
Second time to experience staying in a cabinet for the weekend and this one was fantastic. You can walk out your door and experience great wine and hospitality.
Lesli B. Jul 2018
We stayed here for a quick weekend getaway and loved it! The room was fantastic and we loved the grounds. We were tickled with the cake that was left for us and thought it was a great personal touch. We will definitely stay here again!
Steven C. Jul 2018

Jo C. Jun 2018
It was very nice for my husband and I to get away. Very beautiful and the bed was comfortable
Angela C. Jun 2018
I love the cute little suite, walked in to a cute breakfast pastry on the coffee table. Had waters, orange juice, and half and half in the fridge. Cereal, coffee and all the dishes you would need! The bed was comfortable, all the decor was adorable!
Michelle G. May 2018
Very clean and quiet. Loved the decor and the dessert on the coffee table. Bed was extremely soft and cushiony. Loved the small amount of breakfast supplies on stand and in small refrigerator. Would definitely rent again.
Nancy B. May 2018
Rustic charm. Convenient location on 290 makes it easy to get to downtown Fredericksburg and local wineries. Also convenient for a visit to Luckenbach.
Alicia B. May 2018
Great location!
Patricia L. May 2018
This was such a great place for our honeymoon. We only stayed one night but it was perfect.
Justin S. May 2018
My wife and I really enjoyed our stay! The cabin is VERY clean and I could tell that the staff focused on small things like polishing the wine glasses and dishes. Even with a few other guests staying in the next suite and other cabins, I never knew anyone else was around because it was so quiet and peaceful. If you want to find a great place to stay that is closer to Luckenbach, this is a solid option.
Dan R. Apr 2018
We loved our stay , nice place to spend a few days or forever , really great convenience to all locations , ( Downtown , Wild Seed Farm , Luckenbach ) but a little out of the way so its also quiet and cozy ! We'd come back every weekend if we could , thank you guys very much !
Don C. Apr 2018
We went on a tour of Austin, the Texas hill country, Nashville, Memphis, Mississippi and Cleveland, OH and this was far and away our favorite place we stayed. We enjoyed the log cabin feel and all the amenities provided.
JULIE G. Apr 2018
Loved the location, price and cleanliness. Had everything we needed. Bed was cozy and blankets soft. Perfect spot in the middle of where we wanted to be. ❤️ Only drawback was traffic noise but it wasn’t terrible.
John K. Apr 2018
We loved everything about the Champagne Suite. A five star rating. We will definitely be going back for a longer stay.
Wendy B. Mar 2018
The cottage was in great proximity to town and the wineries. (Only negative was that you could hear the road noise from the highway. That’s the only thing I would change about the location.) The cottage was very clean and homey. We would definitely stay here again. The staff was super nice and accommodating when we checked in. We look forward to going back and checking out some of the other properties you offer.
Shirley M. Mar 2018
Great little cottage. Very private but central to 3 wineries. Clean, great bed. Just really nice. Close to Fredericksburg.

Justin K. Mar 2018
The staff in the office was super friendly and the cabin was awesome. Much better than staying in a hotel. Would recommend to any and everyone.
Clifton S. Mar 2018
This place was great. Wine tasting onsite. Plus you are on 240, minutes from vineyards & downtown. We went during the week & got to hear a live blues band. Great food all around.

Really comfortable cabin in a nice setting. Clean and neat.
Aurelio A. Feb 2018

Carrie S. Feb 2018

JAMES M. Jan 2018
Very quaint little log cabin and fireplace. Very clean and welcoming. The coffee cake was wonderful. Bring your own fan for the bedroom if you need a little white noise...its really quiet.
Garrett B. Jan 2018
The place was comfy, the location was great and very convinient. The only complaint we had(everything else was great!) was that we got no breakfast the second day we were there.
William H. Jan 2018
We opened the door and were immediately impressed. This is a very comfortable place. There was coffee, breakfast things, bottled water, everything we could have asked for. Best of all a nice fresh coffee cake we had for breakfast. Fireplace was great. Bed was super comfortable. We had a lovely and relaxing stay.

All of the email and communications were helpful and very clear.
Erin C. Dec 2017
Absolutely loved this cabin. It was very clean, charming and had everything my sister and I needed for a few nights stay in wine country. We did a wine tour and went hiking at enchanted rock, and at the end of the day could still pop into some of the wineries on the property. It was very close to downtown Fredericksburg for shopping and restaurants, but was still a good escape from city life. From making the reservation to checking in, every person I dealt with was super professional and exuded southern hospitality. I would definitely like to come back and stay here again one day!
Sandra M. Nov 2017
We had a great time, the place was clean, quiet and close to Fredericksburg.
Clara A. Nov 2017
We spent 3 nights here and it was an amazing retreat. The cabin is nestled between three different wineries but is far enough away from main Fredericksburg that it truely feels like an escape. However, the Main Street is only about 5 minutes away so it was super easy to go eat and shop.
Diane M. Nov 2017
Nice quiet cabin in a good location near everything in Fredericksburg. For the price it was a lot nicer than your average hotel room.
Amy R. Oct 2017
I have stayed in Fredericksburg for years - I will never go back to a hotel - this will be my new home away from home!
Denise H. Oct 2017
We definitely enjoyed our stay and would stay again.
Romnee R. Sep 2017
Shelley K. Aug 2017
Loved the cottage. Exactly what we needed for a quick get away from Austin.
Aaron R. Aug 2017
This is an awesome place, don't think twice and book it. You will not be disappointed at all.
David C. Aug 2017
The suite we stayed in was quiet and beautifully decorated. This is a lovely setting.
Mindy M. Jul 2017
Great place to stay. Super cute cabin. Clean, quiet and romantic. Would definitely stay again.
Richard F. Jun 2017
Great location convenient to Fredericksburg and vineyards. The cabin is comfortable and really decorated nicely. A little pricey on the weekends because of the lack of other amenities and any type of room service.
Todd G. May 2017
she enjoyed it very much
Melissa W. May 2017
We loved our stay here. The cabin was awesome and the best part was it was pet friendly. The welcome pastry was delicious and the bed linens were amazing! Can't wait to go back!
Jason W. Apr 2017
Charming cabin just outside of the downtown area was perfect for a weekend getaway. There was a coffee cake waiting for us on the coffee table. The area was spacious and very clean! It was very quiet and there are 4 tasting rooms on site for your convenience. We would highly recommmend this to anyone looking to relax for a long weekend! There is a fireplace and a television if you just want to chill but we did not use them.
Melissa B. Mar 2017
It was a cute and very quaint cabin. It was very clean. We enjoyed the coffee cake, cereal, and orange juice that came with the room. The bed was a little hard for my liking but we werr still able to get a full nights rest.
Being 6 miles away from main street got us away from the hustle and bustle of all the spring breakers in fredricksburg!

I'm used to country life, so this was a great way to take a small trip without having to deal with crowds and lack of parking.

Nice living room with fireplace, and the breakfast cake was awesome! King bed with great, high-quality linens. Heating and A/C worked great.

I love the location of this property, you can literally step out your door and be at a winery. It was clean, the bed was super comfy (the sheets were a dream), and had almost everything we needed. If they had a place to cook, this place would be 5 stars easily. Since the town is about 10-15 min from here, it would be nice to have that option rather than drive into town after wine tasting. And the only other negative is the pick up and drop off of your keys, I wish they had an onsite location for that rather than make you drive into town for that. All in all we loved the place and would stay here again.

We stayed in the champagne suite, my wife and I loved the room , sundries were provided . We will definitely be staying here again. The on site wineries were awesome. Amid the staff were very friendly. Thanks for everything.

Clean, comfortable suite. The king bed was very, very comfortable and the linens were of high quality. Upon our arrival, a fresh coffee cake was waiting!! It was very good. The fridge was stocked with water, juice and milk. Cereal was provided for a nice continental breakfast if desired. The surrounding property was clean and well maintained. Rocky Hill is a quiet will not be disappointed.

This place is awesome! It is close to Fredricksburg, onsite wine tastings, but far enough outside of the city to where it is quiet at night. The only downfall to this property is the bed is extremely hard. Wish it was a softer bed!

What a wonderful getaway. Adorable duplex style historic cabin (no common walls). Very comfortable, CLEAN, quaint, close to town. Favorite part was the beautiful wood burning fireplace. Oh, and the king size bed was COMFY too! We went right before New Years Eve so things were quiet. We look forward to another stay here.

Perfect place to relax and get away . You are far enough away from Frederick burg to relax but close enough to shop and dine.

Very pleasantly surprised. Wonderful accommodations off the beaten path, but easily accessible to downtown area!!! Nice having tasting rooms on property with music during the day, and peace at night!!
