Whether you're traveling to Orcas Island to unplug, hike, or look for the area's famous resident killer whales, you'll be treated to a light-filled cottage with a gas fireplace, a kitchenette, and a hot tub private to the home. On the grounds of this five-acre resort, you'll also find community amenities, including a charcoal grill, picnic areas, horseshoe pits, and a deck.

Here among the apple orchards and rugged shorelines on the west side of Orcas Island, you'll be an eight-mile drive from the ferry terminal, where you can catch regular sailings to Anacortes, Friday Harbor, Lopez Island, and Shaw Island. There is much within walking distance, including the on-site Deer Harbor Restaurant, a local beach, a kayak park, and the Deer Harbor Marina (half a mile south). Be sure to take a scenic drive around the island, taking in views of the Olympic Mountains across the water and stopping in downtown Eastsound 10 miles northeast. Two beautiful state parks - Moran and Obstruction Pass - await just 14 and 19 miles east, respectively, offering some of the prettiest landscapes on the island.
