We loved the cabin in the woods. It was a wonderful place to unplug during COVID. The only issues we encountered were the gfis in the main level bathrooms did not function. The wifi is very slow. The upstairs HVAC isn't great. The best bed is all the way downsta6just outside of the hot tub area. The driveway to the house is scary windy and steep. We do not recomend arriving at night.

Even with the lake lowered great views and great amenities. Kitchen has everything you need! Just be very careful leaving the house as you turn out on a blind curve.

Our two families enjoyed sharing this property for a week. The kitchen was well stocked and there were nice spaces for everyone to play and relax. It will be even better when lake levels are restored and the lake can be used. The reason we give it 4 instead of 5 stars is that there are some small issues, but not enough to spoil our stay. The upstairs toilet leaked a small amount of fresh water, the roof over the dining room table dripped when it rained heavily, the propane tank was open and empty, and a few areas of the home could use a little TLC. Overall though great home our families enjoyed with many great things within a 30-45 minute drive. The 5 acres are steep, but paths provided good fun for the kids to hike around.

This place was perfect! Well kept, clean and had everything we needed for our stay! The views are awesome and it was located a mile away from our family so location was perfect. The driveway is very narrow and steep so be careful in the winter. We are already planning our next trip there!!

The location was perfect (though the climb down to the lake was quite steep and strenuous). The view was superb, the seating on the decks was perfect for family gathering, and the rooms, bathrooms, and living spaces were all very clean. The beds were a bit stiff, and though we were instructed to place garbage in the outside bin, there was indeed no bin, and we left our garbage in the garage. Otherwise, a wonderful weekend all the way around.

We very much enjoyed our stay here. Cabin and amenities were terrific. We are not "lake" or boating people, but this would have been great for someone who is as the lake access was a nice feature.. Very clean and comfortable. with plenty of room--- we could have brought many more people and still been extremely comfortable.

We gathered at this wonderful house to celebrate a 90th birthday. It was perfect! The view, the layout of the house, the large hot tub... We loved hanging out on the dock and floating around and kayaking. Thank you for sharing your lovely cabin!!

Loved it all. Perfect space for our family. Well stocked home in kitchen and lots of bath towels. Appliances worked well. Lots of floats for the lake and kayak. Loved that the lake was a bit of a hike so we never worried the kids ventured down there alone.
