Beautiful home and location

What a wonderful location right by the river. My husband loved being able to walk down the stairs off the enclosed porch and - instant fishing! There's even a fire pit. We were taking our daughter to check out WCU and this was a perfect location, less than 2 miles away.

Loved, loved, loved this little cabin. So thoughtfully appointed. No detail overlooked. Looking forward to staying here again in the future.

Totally enjoyed our stay. Visiting our son at the university. Great location for that. Loved the river view
Melissa D. Sep 2022
The house is well appointed with everything you need. We found the bed very comfortable and loved sitting on the poach drinking coffee in the morning or wine in the evening listening to the river and frogs. Highly recommend this house for a couple. We didn't have our kids with us though there is a good chance they would have loved the bunk beds.

This house is amazing! Clean, comfortable, relaxing, the porch alone is amazing. We played games and listened to the water flowing by. The full moon on the water at night...just gorgeous!!

The back porch is enough to make you love this place!

This was a beautiful and very clean home with a nice location next to the river. I just wish it wasn’t so cold so I could’ve enjoyed the wonderful screened porch more.

One thing of which to be aware.... there is a motion detector light in the bedroom. Every time I moved or turned over in the night the light came on and lit up the room. We fixed it the second night by moving the detectors but the first night I hardly got any sleep at all. I almost gave this place a 4-star rating but everything else was so nice that it didn’t seem fair.
Manager response:
Sarah, we are delighted you enjoyed our home! We are sorry for the inconvenience of the motion detector lights. We will pass this information to our manager for updates. We look forward to another stay!

Beautiful home. Just what we needed. Great location !! Everything was clean and spacious. Would definitely recommend to anyone that wants a little quieter time away but still within a few minutes of a nice town and the parkways.

Had a very relaxing time at Es. It was very quiet and the place was very clean. The university is right outside the development but you wouldn’t know. Close to all kids of activities

The house is quaint and absolutely beautiful. The sound of the rushing River in the morning was so relaxing. The screened in porch was fantastic. Very clean with higher end amenities made this one of the nicest places we’ve stayed.

Loved the house. The second bedroom is a bit small but it was fine. The sofa bed helped. Quiet community. Very peaceful. 5 stars without question. Thank you

The best part of the house is the amazing screen porch overlooking the river. The house had everything we needed. Nice furnishings, very clean. Small, quiet neighborhood.

We visited our daughter at WCU. Beautiful setting for fishing, sitting by the camp fire, eocking listening to the roar of the Tuck. Cleanest, most well-stocked, and cutest cabin! Would definitely stay here again!!

This cottage is so tastefully decorated. The host thought of EVERYTHING to make this rental accommodating; probably the most detailed/stocked vacation rental I have ever stayed in. The bed was comfortable, and the house was very clean.

If I described this custom home, I would say Quality, Quality, Quality! It is perfectly decorated with all the creature comforts and high-tech touches for modern convenience. Loved the sound of the river to wake up to. Very large Master Shower and having a powder room. I am a cook so the gas range and well-equipped kitchen gave me every reason to cook in. Well cleaned by the local staff. Come and enjoy this home as soon as you can!
