Scenically positioned in the midst of apple orchards, the Deer Harbor Inn and its on-site restaurant are located half a mile from the Deer Harbor Marina and a public beach access point. The Orcas Island Ferry Terminal is just eight miles east, and the island's main town of Eastsound - home to such local gems as Hogstone's Wood Oven and Brown Bear Baking - is 10 miles northeast. Hikers will have their choice of spectacular island trails, including the Turtleback Mountain Trail (two miles northeast) and the Mt. Constitution Loop Trail in Moran State Park (14 miles east), while kayakers can head down to Deer Harbor Marina or over to Moran's beautiful Cascade Lake.

The room was clean and cute. Tiny TV. Wifi was good. The property was rustic. Plenty of outdoor seating, watch out for falling apples. Lots of deer roam the property. Peekaboo glimpses of the harbor.
Check in was super confusing as the property had multiple houses and cabins and uses multiple rental agency forms. The "office" was a mess of boxes and personal belongings with no one inside to help. The houses are labeled but not accurate to vacasa description. No phone number available to contact anyone you're just left wondering aimlessly looking for for someone to help you. Workers cleaning rooms in the property halls without masks or shoes on.
