I love the quiet; the animal activity; the water activity; the open floor plan. Easy to have privacy in this house. Comfortable furnishings.

The highlight of our whole stay on Orcas was the deck. Seals, Otters, porpoise, eagles but no orcas. Bring good binocs and sunscreen and enjoy! If you are physically challenged look carefully at the stairs - only way in and out. Getting down to the waters edge also requires a little balance and dexterity. The house and kitchen has everything you would need and more. Very quiet and private and little traffic so biking and walking the surrounding area very comfortable. No luck fishing or crabbing but fun to try. Seventeen days there and still didn’t want to leave.

Awesome view and a beautiful house. Will try to stay there again on our next visit.

Great view, we saw porpoises, seals, deer and eagles from the house.

The view and very quiet setting were wonderful. In fact, we enjoyed the deck so much that we skipped most of the hiking and kayaking adventures we had planned over the week. From the deck and living room we saw countless eagles catching fish, whales, and seals- we also really enjoyed watching a swallow family building a nest in a nest box just off the deck. The house was also very clean and comfortable- the kitchen was well stocked. It was the relaxing week we needed and hope to return.

Private getaway with an exceptional view and all the amenities. It is convenient to Moran State Park - very relaxing.

This house boasts the most beautiful views we’ve had during many different visits to Orcas Island. The house is very private and secluded. The kitchen had a lot of different appliances and met most of our cooking needs, including making a birthday cake! There was a selection of puzzles we got to enjoy and we enjoyed a fire in the Woodstock one evening. We enjoyed being close to Moran for relatively quick trips to the lake, road biking and hiking the mountain. Evenings on the back deck were amazing. We enjoyed happy hour while watching pods of poirposes, seals and eagles. We were even visited by the neighborhood peacock on the back deck!

We stayed at this home as a family with kids 10 and under. Our kids were able to explore a bit; however, outside is rocky and steep so I do not recommend this as a kid-friendly home. We would have loved a small collection of toys or games for the younger set. It would have also been great to have some designated beach towels for use outside the home.

Overall we really loved our stay on this end of the island. The house met our needs and the views were spectacular.

Astounding views, well kept and well-equipped home. A delight to stay in and a shame to leave!

We loved this home away from home. The home itself was clean and cozy and just perfect for our family of 3. It had every amenity we needed for a comfortable stay. The view will knock your socks off! From the deck we saw two Orcas, countless porpoises, seals, otters, and bald eagles - incredible! We also saw deer around the house everyday. We loved the peaceful location and didn’t mind driving to Moran State Park, Observation Point, or Eastsound. My only complaint is the lack of window coverings in the bedrooms, with the long summer nights and early sunrises it made it difficult to get our child to sleep.

We absolutely loved this location. It had a fabulous view. it was quiet and secluded.

This house was everything we wanted. completely isolated and private. cannot see the neighbors from either side. You reach it on the end of a dirt road that had a beautiful forest and many deer. The views Are every bit as good as the photos. it is fully equipped and has really nice furniture, pottery and art in the house. Beautiful flowers and landscaping in front. Nothing really like sitting in the easy chair in the morning with a cup of coffee in the living room looking out over the water watching wildlife. we saw harbor seals and an eagle land in the tree right in front of the window. Lots of deer, humming birds and even a mink. (Not an otter). was you can climb down onto the rocks and take a very cold dip in the water if you were so inclined and I was. Caught a large crab. Fell asleep every night to the sounds of water lapping on rocks just feet from the very comfortable bed. Used the grill one night and sat out on deck. The heated tile floor in the master bath was a nice touch, emend in summer!
The only down side of this property is that it about as far as you can get from the ferry and still be on Orcas! A good 40 minute drive. It is however close to Olga, Moran park, Doe Bay, obstruction Pass, and Rosario.

I highly recommend this property!

We arrived to a spotless, gorgeous, and wonderfully secluded home. It was dreamy! Because of the breathtaking views and the joy of watching an abundance of marine wildlife, it was several days before we could make ourselves leave the premises to explore the island. We wished we'd booked 3 weeks instead of 2!

Spacious, well equipped, gorgeous view!

When you walk into the home, you are immediately taken aback by the beautiful view of the water. The house is open and airy and is well appointed with everything you might need on your stay. The porch that wraps around much of the house is perfect for morning coffee and watching the sunrise. There are plenty of opportunities to view the sea life as well as see birds and deer around the home. The only reason I did not give this stay 5 stars is due to the fee/pricing structure. You had to pay extra for laundry and cleaning if you didn't want to do it yourself, you also had to place the sheets on the bed and take the trash to the waste facility at the end of the stay. The nightly price of the home was fair, but for the price point, I feel that these items should have been included. Other than that, I could not say enough about how great the stay was. Location, view, comforts of home, all available at this rental, a can't miss if you are staying on Orcas.

My family thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this secluded and private house. Situated right on the water, it was so nice to unwind on the deck and take in the beauty of the ocean. While we didn't get to see any orcas in the vicinity, we saw seals, porpoises, and bald eagles. Perhaps I missed it in the description when I booked the house, but do be aware this house is accessed by a dirt road. It was not a problem for our car though. We had a great time and would recommend this home for anyone looking to get away from it all!

We had a family of 5 in the house and had a great week. Deck is great, house has everything you need. Would also be great for 2 couples.

We loved our visit. My husband and I were there for a week and had children visit for a few days. We saw whales once and eagles MANY times (3 at once!). The house was quite comfortable and quiet.

We are a family of four and we spent a very enjoyable six nights recently at this Orcas home and came back home thoroughly well rested & energized. The house is super comfortable with all the amenities, the kitchen is well provided for and the view of the ocean from the entire house is fabulous. We could hear & see the whales go by from the deck and the scenery is breathtaking. The folks at the management company made it very easy for us to book the house and were very prompt in communicating with us. I would totally recommend anyone to book this house for a nice getaway. It is close to the beautiful parks, waterfront & beaches. The village of Eastsound is an easy 20 minute drive from the house and Mt. Constitution is about 10 mins away.
