This house was spacious for our large family reunion. Everyone had their own space, and the large dining table was perfect. The pool table was great for the kids! My only suggestion would be to update the furniture and tableware.
Manager response:
Thank you for your feedback, Avelina. We are happy to hear that the location worked out well for you. We have passed along your review to the local manager. They will work with the owner to make any needed upgrades and repairs. Thank you for bringing these suggestions to our attention. We hope to host you again in the future!

The house was pretty amazing, except for a few things.
It was clean and the decoration was beautiful. Location was great, but be aware that you need to get a parking sticker to park at all beaches. This was unexpected to us and we liost a beach day trying to figure it out. You can get a sticker through the town portal for the next day. It costs $195 for 2 weeks. The problem is that they require a rental agreement with your name, rentals address and dates you`re staying. I spent a long time on the phone with turnkey and they could not figure this out. Eventually I sent a screenshot of the email with the information and, thankfully, the town accepted. I think this basic information should be provided and explained to the guests ahead of time, on the house`s listing, so that you can take care of it before your vacation starts. This was very upsetting, especially with 3 little kids.
The other thing is that the 5th bedroom is in the basement and it does not have air conditioning or a bathroom. My sister-in-law needed to use the kids potty at night so that she didn`t need to climb the spiral stairs in the middle of the night! But the little potty took care of the problem. I think the worst thing though was that the basement kept filling up with a lot of giant flies. We couldn`t figure out where they were coming from, so we ended up sealing all doors and vents with mask tape. This problem only happened in the basement. The owner needs to figure this out. It should be an easy fix.
Other than that we really had an amazing time and I would stay in this house again!

This will be the third time that I am writing a review. Perhaps one went to Turnkey, the group that `maintains` the property, but I have no idea why I am writing three times. The house was in a beautiful wooded area near Rte. 6, restaurants, Wellfleet Center, but most of all the ponds and ocean. The cleaning was ok, but they were still there when we arrived after 4:00. All the furnishings and the upkeep of the house were old and dingy. NOt at all like the photos show. There were dog hairs everywhere, the lamps and tables were all thrift shop dingy, the curtains and blankets old, the wall decor OLD. The kitchen was small and all the utensils and supplies were stuffed into cupboards haphazardly. Only one dish towel for the kitchen for 5 people to use for one week. Only minimal bath towels for all of us for a week. There were games and mystery books available, beach towels and umbrella, but no beach chairs. It just felt and smelled damp. There was ample room, however for sleeping and relaxing. It was an expensive rental and the house should be upgraded for that fee. I`ve been renting homes all over the Cape for 15 years and have had great experiences. I`m not one to generally complain. This house is in bad need of repair and renovation. The listing and pictures are incredibly deceiving and the house is over-priced. There is no central AC. The house has partial AC - the 2 bathrooms, the kitchen, and the entire basement, including the 5th bedroom, do not have AC. There are only wall AC units in the living room and 4 of the bedrooms. The house is damp and musty. The VERY OLD carpet and drapes retain moisture and smell of mildew. We were all badly congested after sleeping. There are lots of bugs. We killed many spiders and the overhead light fixtures are FILLED with dead bugs. The downstairs shower stall had mold/mildew and dead bugs on the ceiling. It`s so small that it`s impossible to rinse. The living room furniture is filthy and torn. Several things were broken, including the coffee pot, a drawer face with protruding screws, the kitchen faucet, and a shower drain. The kitchen electrical outlet didn`t work so we had to move the microwave to the dining room in order to use it. The extra blankets in the closets were torn, stained, and had mildew on them. The spiral stairs to the basement are dangerous. As soon as we arrived I requested a refund and was told `no.` It was so bad that I was willing to lose the money if I could find another rental house, but nothing else was available last minute. Turnkey was responsive to the drawer repair, but there`s nothing that can be done to fix this house short of a total overhaul. It was a rip-off. I wish I could upload the photos I took. This home, tucked into a wooded hillside off a quiet but main road, was just what we wanted and needed for a weekend of catching up with old friends. The light poured into the house all day and the cross breeze through open windows felt great. There was plenty of space for the 4 couples, and the pool table in the basement was a central evening hotspot in the house. We`d stay here again for sure. The house was spacious, well-appointed and charming. Easy access, very close to the action in the town of Wellfleet, yet with a feeling of secession and peacefulness. We loved it! This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.

We had a great time in this house. It was big enough to comfortably sleep the 10 of us. Air conditioning in almost every room kept the house comfortable. The house has a large living room and also a nice basement room that opens to the outside and includes a bar and pool table. The location was very convenient but the house was private on 3 acres of woods. We loved it! Two comments regarding the outside of the house: (1) The pathways to the house are steeply downhill and in need of leveling and repair. It was difficult for my 87-year-Old mother to navigate. (2) A bit of trimming back is needed (e.g. the vines around the rear staircase to the deck). This review was submitted while the home was managed by a different property management company.
