Third time we have been there. It is showing it’s age. No screen back door, front porch door needs repair, refrigerator having problems with the plug I found extension cord and plugged refrig into it in a different wall outlet. Now it works. New pier is nice but the cleets are not fastened down with proper length screws. They are loose. Front door hard to close . Minimum shading in front room. Rugs are very old stained and need to be replaced
Now the good stuff . Putting the problems aside we still love the place
Sheets, towels lots of them clean
One last thing ………What happen to our nice bottle of wine? New Owner????

This was our second time staying at Voyager View. Fantastic location on a private peninsula with great views. Dogs were in heaven! Close to boat rental. Inside the home is clean. Would love if the fireplace worked, but was closed for repairs. Exterior could use some TLC, but overall like this cottage and plan to book again.
Manager response:
Hi, Jennessa! We are glad you enjoyed your stay. We appreciate you letting us know there is room for improvement and will follow up with the owner regarding your feedback. We look forward to hosting you again.

Was good for two couples and would be too for a family up to 7. Location is partway through the chain so easy to get to other lakes but more of a shallow weedy pass-through lake with lots of boat and jet ski traffic close to the point you are on. Only real complaint is the landlord could supplied the cabin better. We ran out of dishwasher pods and toilet paper 2 days into the week, and a Britta water pitcher would have been nice as the tap water is not great. Dryer did not work (tumble) but landlord is supposed to be fixing that. Screened in porch was nice as was kitchen/dining room and family room
Manager response:
Thank you for your review, Mark, we hope you enjoyed your stay. We provide a starter kit of essentials such as toilet paper, paper towels, laundry soap, and dish soap to ensure the first night of your stay starts well. Once these supplies run out it is the responsibility of our guests to provide any additional supplies throughout the remainder of their stay. Supplies are restocked before each guest. We apologize for the inconvenience and hope we can host you again.

Had a great week at A Voyageur View. We loved the location on Voyageur Lake and being on a peninsula, the views were amazing. The kids enjoyed having the multiple docks to fish from. We rented a boat from the local marina and the kids loved having it parked at our own dock. All in all we thoroughly enjoyed our week. We would definitely rent A Voyageur View again.

Voyaguer View was just as we hoped it would be. Great location, private setting and plenty of room to hang out as well as enjoy all that the Northwoods has to offer.

A quaint cottage on about the coolest location possible. You have your own peninsula all to yourself. Pretty much surrounded by water. The house is comfortable and nice. Porch was great in the evening for games and hanging out. Loved the place and hope to be back.

Isolated cabin on it's own peninsula without a neighbor near by. Cozy and comfortable and right on the water. 3 piers to dock your boat or swim or fish. Fireplace for chilly nights and firepit outside for campfires. Close to town for easy acces togroceries and restaurants. Nearby marina to rent boats.

In great location and screened in porch was enjoyed. Multiple docks nice for our boat and jet skies but one in particular is hazardous and not supported on end. Someone is going to get hurt. Another reviewer mentioned exposed roots in front of main dock which is true. Not an issue for us but a trip hazard easily fixed with some dirt or wood chips if someone cared. Think this used to be a nice place and could be again but it needs work. Back door storm door glass shattered and based on prior reviews has been neglected for at least 6 weeks. Many screens missing on windows. Porch door screen held in place with duct tape. Exterior chimney crumbling. Directv not working. Understand we were not there for tv but nice in evenings or rainy days. Listing stated AC but has none, this has been corrected but if you had booked earlier be aware. Gutters filled with pine needles which did not affect our stay but show overall lack of upkeep. Seals on several windows broke and fog over. Was raised in ER and vacation there for over 30 years. Know the area and have rented many different homes. For a home in this price range it is not a good value. A little time and money and this could be a very nice place.
Manager response:
Hi, Mike! Thank you for your review. The screens and gutters have been fixed, and we will discuss your other concerns with the owner. We hope to see you again!

The home is situated on a peninsula. It has nice furniture and kitchen.
Needs maintenance to be a place I would like to come back to.
Manager response:
We appreciate your feedback and will do a maintenance inspection on the home. Thank you!

This was perfect for my family and I. Large, two bedroom with outstanding location at the end of a peninsula. Very private and easy to run to town for any forgotten items.

Very easy vacation living at this place.

Once I trained my dog how far he was allowed back up the road, he virtually lived outside running from lakefront to lakefront watching the passing fishermen.

The kids had a great time fishing from the dock, or kayaking to the marshy area across a bay.

I highly recommend this place.

This was a lovely home situated right on Voyageur Lake with many windows to enjoy the surrounding beauty. It was quite cold the weekend we stayed, so unfortunately we were unable to enjoy the screened in porch. There was plenty of room in the house for the 6 of us with 2 bathrooms, 2 queen beds, a single bed and a set of bunkbeds. The kitchen was furnished well, although they tell you they washed the dishes, but did not sanitize them. We would definitely rent this home again!

This place was great for a temporary bachelor pad and a few days on the snowmobile trails. The real fireplace and stocked firewood in the garage was great when we got in at night. Would definitely reserve this spot again!

Lots of privacy. Great home at the end of a dead end road. The home has lots of windows to enjoy the great view. Pet friendly.
