I'm originally from the Three Lakes area-- so when I saw that this was an entire house near the Chanticleer resort and on secluded Dollar Lake, I jumped at the chance to reserve it for a weekend getaway. The house is gorgeous, with real wood details throughout, and with extra comfortable furniture. The best part? The furniture didn't disrupt the amazing views-- with floor to ceiling windows on the living room and dining room walls. My short legged dog adored having a view too! Even though it was dog-friendly-- the house didn't seem worn out or like dogs had left their mark there. I had my aunt and uncle over for a drink and to hang out on the dock-- and we all loved it! They even remembered the the old family who ran the Chanticleer (who's note is on the wall in the kitchen) and were excited to finally see the house and the lake views! The dock is perfect for taking in the night sky, and has 2 benches at the end of it too. The wrap around deck was also lovely-- but we found ourselves on the dock every day we were there. We met Jeff (the property manager) as we were packing up to leave-- and he was so kind and friendly. He also told me that they handled recycling-- which was great! This is a long, rambling review-- but seriously don't even think twice. This house is BIG, and very comfortable, and worth the rate. I'm booking it again for a girls trip. It's also SUPER close to Trig's (the best stocked grocery store in the area), Agave Azul (really good food), and right on the major highways in the area to go check out all of the parks.

When we arrived it was absolutely beautiful ❤️ everything was nice and clean and stocked. Love the outback patio and yard. We played lots of bags lol. The lawn was mowed while we were here. All in all 100% to our satisfaction! We will definitely be back. Close to all stores as well😃🤗☺️😊🥰

Wisconsin lake vacations

Wisconsin lake vacationers have a multitude of options during the state’s sunny summers. In particular, the Eagle River area, surrounded by 28 lakes, has gained great popularity in recent years among travelers and retirees alike. Snowmobiling, sledding, and cozy evenings by the fireplace define winter visits to Eagle River and its neighbors, like Three Lakes and Sayner.

If you’re traveling with kids, consider taking a trip to The Dells, near Lake Delton and dubbed the “Water Park Capital of the World.” For a unique and eclectic vibe, check out all that scenic Door County has to offer, just north of Green Bay on a peninsula in Lake Michigan.

Nature lovers and adventurous travelers should explore Apostle Islands National Lakeshore, one of Wisconsin’s greatest natural treasures. This protected area is home to sandstone caves, which turn to ice caves under the right winter conditions. Lighthouses, old growth forests, and striking cliffs await curious visitors—don’t forget your camera.

There’s so much Wisconsin beauty to explore, and the best way to do it is from the comfort of a cabin or vacation rental. Book today and let the adventure begin.
