Vacasa and Booking.com Launch Integrated Global Partnership

May 18, 2017

Portland, Ore., May 18, 2017 — Vacasa, the second largest U.S. vacation rental management company, announced today that more than 4,500 of its homes are now live on Booking.com, the global leader in connecting travelers with the widest choice of incredible places to stay. Vacasa, which is forecasted to nearly double its professionally managed inventory this year, will add to Booking.com’s vacation rental listing selection across 16 U.S. states and nine countries.

“We’re always looking for ways to expand our value proposition and better market the homes in our portfolio,” says Eric Breon, Vacasa founder and CEO. “Offering an integration with Booking.com, one of the largest accommodations engines in the world, is yet another way for us to ensure that we’re generating maximum occupancy and revenue for homeowners while providing seamless experiences to guests at zero additional cost to our customers.”

Headquartered in Portland, Oregon, Vacasa provides its full-service management solution to a wide variety of vacation rentals worldwide. From cozy, off-the-beaten-path cabins in the Pacific Northwest to highly sought after Panama City Beach mansions, Vacasa’s steadily growing portfolio has climbed each year since the company was founded in 2009. Today, at more than 5,000 homes, Vacasa is one of the largest vacation rental management companies in the U.S., second only to publicly traded industry giant Wyndham Worldwide Corporation.

“We are excited to welcome Vacasa to the Booking.com family,” said Booking.com Managing Director, Americas Todd Dunlap. “We pride ourselves on the amazing diversity of accommodation options on our platform, where travelers can browse more than 1.2 million properties to find the one that’s just right for them, including everything from a 5-star hotel to a great vacation home, a treehouse or even an igloo! Vacasa’s high-quality, instantly bookable vacation rental properties are a great addition to our U.S. inventory.”

Vacasa’s relationship with Booking.com began in 2015, when Vacasa integrated all of its international properties in Europe, South America and Central America with the accommodations engine. The expanded partnership comes in part due to the success of that initial integration.
“Integrating with Vacasa is mutually beneficial for booking channels as well as homeowners and travelers around the world. We bring with us several thousand unique, high-quality vacation rental listings, which are then available for consumers to book instantly,” says Breon. “This partnership also expands Vacasa’s existing marketing capabilities, resulting in additional revenue for our owners.”
